Abstract

The research aims to improve student learning achievement on the subject of ion equilibrium and pH of salt solution in class XI IPA SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. This type of research is an experimental study with a pretestposttest design. The research was conducted at SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. The sample from the study was students of class XI IPA 1 as an experimental class and students in class XI IPA 3 as a control class. The experimental class is the class applied to the Osborn learning model while the control class is not treated. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of the data analysis test, tcount> ttable is 7.25> 1.67, meaning that the application of Osborn's learning model can improve student learning achievement on the subject of ion equilibrium and pH of salt solution in class XI IPA 14 of SMA Negeri 14 with categories of achievement improvement learning in the experimental class based on Score (N-Gain) is high, which is 0.73.

Abstract

This study aims to develop digital literacy instruments for schools, teachers and students whose function is to measure the extent of the digital literacy levels of schools, teachers, and students. It is not possible for a school to follow the development of science and technology if the school's potential is inadequate and its human resources are not ready. Therefore, the development of digital literacy instruments needs to be made in order to identify the level of readiness of schools, teachers and students in facing the digital era in the industrial revolution 4.0. Subjects of the study were 90 respondents consisting of 30 teachers and 60 students in SMA Negeri 14 Pekanbaru. The questionnaire that was made was first validated by 2 expert validators, after being declared valid by the expert validator, then the questionnaire was conducted a limited test to calculate the level of validity and reliability of each question item. The questionnaire uses a Likert scale with 3 categories of answer choices (often, rarely, never or there is, is being planned, no, etc.). Based on the results and conclusions, conclusions can be drawn, namely: the items that can be used as data collection tools on the school digital literacy questionnaire instrument are 23 questions, while the items that can be used as data collection tools on the teacher's digital literacy questionnaire are 52 items and instrument digital student literacy questionnaire as many as 31 questions. Based on the reliability criteria, the three digital literacy questionnaires show high and very high reliability criteria with a reliability level greater than 0.684.

Abstract

The research on implementation of learning strategy to Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Record, Review (SQ4R) has been done to improve student achievement on the subject of Atomic Structures in class X MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru on Agustus until September 2018. Form of the research is experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, class X MIA 2 as the experiment and class X MIA 3 as control class which randomly selected after had tested normality and homogeneity. Experimental class is a class that implemented Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Record, Review (SQ4R) strategy. Data analysis technique used the t-test. Based on the result of the final data processing t-test formula obtained tcount>ttable (1,86>1,67) means the application of Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Record, Review (SQ4R) strategy can improve student achievement on the subject of atomic structures in class X MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

The sample study was students of class XI IPA 2 as an experimental class and students in class XI IPA 1 as a control class. The experimental class is the class applied to the CORE learning model while the control class is not treated. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of the data analysis test, tcount> ttable is 9,03> 1.66, meaning that the application of CORE’s learning model can improve student learning achievement on the subject of ion equilibrium and pH of salt solution in class XI IPA 6 SMAN 6 Pekanbaru

Abstract

ICT bases tournament with quizizz application has role play to chemistry leaning study. This role can be seen from motivation and student assessment aspect. This research is design experimental quasi “The randomized pre test-post test control group design” and the data analysis is using t-test for comparing experiment and control class. Learning with this bases can improve the motivation and result of student learning. Students believe that they can be the best in study with this quizizz application. It becomes the wonderful time to study with excited, happy, and the material is easy to understand. Beside that, with ICT function, students can apply this tournament is out of the schedule time to study, so it can be doing at anywhere and anytime

Abstract

This research is a research design to obtain a product prototype teaching material Student Activity Sheet (LKPD). LKPD to be designed and developed is the Concept Hierarchy Based LKPD for Salt Hydrolysis Subjects. The research method used was the research development of Sivasailam Thiagarajan et al. 4-D development model: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Define stage/formulate student needs and synchronize the indicators/competencies that students want to achieve in understanding the HG material. The Design Stage is a designation of LKPD which has considered the inclusion of all BHK-based pursuit objective indicators contained in LKPD. The final result of the Design stage is the final draft of the LKPD (prototype) which must be validated which is carried out at the Develop stage. LKPD validation by three experts who assessed the feasibility aspects of content, linguistics, presentation and graphics, respectively scored 89.28%, 91.67%, 93.75% and 87.50% with valid categories. After LKPD was declared valid, LKPD was tested on high school students to see the responses and input from the teacher in the field of chemistry studies. Response of 20 students rated positive/useful with a score of 91.07% in the very positive category and assessed its practicality by two teachers and got the response results with a percentage of 93.75% with a very practical category.
