Abstract

The ethics taught in Pre-Kant era was eudemonistic. Thenature of moral proposed by Kant was the awareness of the obligation,absolute obligation. But there was no relationship between obligationand happiness. Actually Kant did not reject the acts which came frompositive feelings, but rejected the acts appeared from the feelings. Kantemphasized that the real moral awareness independently appear whenthere is no natural tendensi or social habit. If a person show his/ herhonesty from the deepest of his/ her heart, then he/she has the moralvalue. There is a possibility that being honest came from the socialoppression. Kant, also claimed that people obey and follow anobligation in which they do not have beliefs. Those are the reasons ofKant as quoted on the statement “das moralische Gesetz in mir“

Abstract

The Quran is primary source for the life of Muslimsbesides the hadith from the Prophet Muhammad PBUH. As a Moslem,following the guidance of Allah and His messenger that explained inthe Quran and Sunnah is an obligation. Quran declared itself to behudan linnas for all divines in religious teachings. Its teachingscontained in the stories either explicitly or implicitly so that people cantake the lessons. In addition it also contains general rules, globlprinciples, including verses of muhkamat and mutashabihat.Everything was revealed by Allah through his messenger ProphetMuhammad PBUH and was subsequently conveyed to mankind. TheMoslems are aware to get Allah‟s guidance and His taufiq. They haveno glory except heading towards to the Quran and Sunnah. However,the messages that Allah sent down to His messengers often getblasphemies even tahrif from the followers in terms of both the textsand the meaning. All messages were distorted by those who follow theirdesires except the holy book of the Koran (Al-Qur‟an). Allahguaranteed the authenticity of its contents until the judgment day(yaum el Qiyamah). In keeping the authenticity of the Quran in Ulumal-Quran (Sciences of the Quran), there is a subject knowledge thatserves as „cleaning‟ and „sterilizing‟ the Quran from the things that arenot true in Koran teachings. The subject is known as Ad-Dakhil

Abstract

Di Indonesia sendiri sekularisme merupakan sebuahbentuk dari sistem pemerintahan lebih tepatnya sebagai negaramoderat dengan adanya pancasila di sila pertama yang berbunyi“Ketuhanan yang maha Esa” yang mana pernyataan tersebuttidak menunjukkan pembelaan pada agama tertentu. Tetapi,bermaksud menegaskan bahwa agama-agamadi Indonesiaberintikan satu Tuhan, yaitu Yang Maha Esa. Akan tetapi yangmembedakan Indonesia dengan Negara sekuler lainnya adalahdengan adanya departemen yang mengurus persoalan agama,padahal negara sekuler yang murni tidak boleh ikut campurdalam persoalan agama. Agama hanya menjadi wilayah keluargadan masyarakat.

Abstract

Pesantren (Islamic boarding school) with its typology hasgiven effect to the civilization in Indonesia. Pesantren in Indonesiaplays three important roles in Islamic civilization. First, pesantrenserves as center of religious study that creates muslim scholars, so thatthey will develop Islamic teachings. Second, the act of openness to themodernization by considering about the act of selectivity that functionsas a filter. Third, pesantren creates a link to connect among religion,culture and local wisdom.

Abstract

Koran (Al-Quran) is not the book of history. The fact is ittells the reader about chronological events in a story or set of histories.The article describes the views from Koran about the history andexplains about the historical problems in Koran‟s views. The moralfactor has the special portions in Koran. This factor can perpetuate thenation of being destroyed. It is accepted by the Moslem scholars(ulama‟) that the moral factor gives the direct implication in practicaldaily lives, as the parameter of personality, and as the behavior of ahuman in a nation or a community. The histories revealed by Koranare the „living history‟ and the events that involve the readers to haveconversations and participate in dialogues.

Abstract

The article compares the interests of Islamic scholars(ulama‟) in the Hadith (book) of Shahih Bukhari. Two methods ofinterpreting hadith of Shahih Bukhari were taken from two differentbooks (kitab). They are Fath al-Bari which was written by Ibnu Hajar al-Asqalani and „Umdatul Qari which was written by Badr al-Dîn al-`Ainî.The explanation from Umdah al-Qârî is easier to understand than Fathal-Bari because it was arranged in systematic ways. On the other hand,Fath al-Bârî emphasizes on the explanation of the problems anddescribes the problems found in hadith of Shahih Bukhari in details.The differences among the Islamic scholars (ulama‟) in interpretinghadith of Shahih Bukhari show their interests in researching hadiths,which came originally from Prophet Muhammad PBUH.

Abstract

Imam Syafi'i was a great muslim scholar who was born inthe second century AH (Anno Hegirae). He was known for hisgreatness and his intellectual ability, so that many muslim scholarsfollow his thoughts in the field of Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh). InIndonesia, Many muslims follow mazhab of Imam Syafi'i and it is thethe most popular mazhab in the country. As his popularity in the fieldof Fiqh, he was also an expert in the field of tafsir and ta'wil. It issurely that Imam syafi‟i had special attention to the Qur'an, tafsir andta'wil. The books written by Shafi'i were also talking about Qur'an,tafsir and ta'wil. Most of his books talked about the issues on fiqh andushul fiqh, because both are the focus of his study. His thoughts aboutthe Quran, tafsir and ta'wil had flown into pieces. This article tries todescribe some of his thoughts about the Quran, tafsir and ta'wil. It isvery important topic to describe because the contributions of ImamSyafi'i in the field Quran, tafsir and ta'wil having the great influenceamong muslim scholar.
