Abstract

LKPD is a sheet containing tasks that must be done by students and equipped with instructions or steps to complete the tasks ordered in the activity sheet. The research method used is 4D development. The results obtained from the assessment of material experts were the total score in the first stage of validation was 94 with an average of 4.47 that indicated the "very valid" category, in the second stage of validation the score obtained was 78 with an average of 3.71 that indicated the "valid" category. Thus the results obtained from material experts showed the "valid" category, that means the product is feasible and can be used. In the assessment of design experts, the total score obtained in the first stage of validation was 58 with an average of 4.83 indicating the "very valid" category, in the second stage of validation the total score obtained was 57 with an average of 4.75 indicating the "very valid" category. Thus the results obtained from design experts showed the "very valid" category, which means the product is feasible and can be used.

Abstract

This article is a result of research using descriptive qualitative research methods. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of character education in forming a santri personality at the Raudhatul Hasanah Islamic Boarding School. Based on the data obtained that have been analyzed, there are several research findings, namely (1) character education in Islamic Boarding Schools Raudhatul Hasanah was carried out through learning activities and activities outside of learning; (2) the role of Islamic boarding school leaders, Ustadz and Ustadzah are very important, is an example of an example For santri besides being a motivation and inspiration giver; (3) character education in Islamic Boarding School Raudhatul Hasanah is described in the form of various activities, namely: self-development activities, habituation, exemplary, discipline and cultivation.

Abstract

The proposed hypothesis is: How is the activeness and ability to read in Indonesian subjects for Class I students in SD Negeri 060886 Medan 2017/2018 academic year. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles by using Kurt Lewin's model that consists of four components, namely: planning, action/action, observation and reflection. The results of the study concluded that student learning outcomes in reading in Indonesian subjects were: The average value of student interest when working on LKS in the Pre-Cycle was 47.83; then in the 1st cycle increased into 67.83 and then increased again to 97.39 in the 2nd cycle. The average value of student interest at the time of LKS Discussion in the Pre-Cycle is 42.61; then in the 1st cycle increased into 72.17 and then increased again into 93.91 in the 2nd cycle. The average value of students' interest during the discussion in the Pre-Cycle is 44.35; then in the 1st cycle increased into 74.78 and then increased again into 92.17 in the 2nd cycle. The average value of student interest at the time of evaluation in the pre-cycle is 45.22; then in the 1st cycle increased into 73.04 and then increased into 96.52 in the 2nd cycle. The average value of the learning evaluation results in the pre-cycle is 62.61; then in the 1st cycle increased into 72.68 and then increased into 92.03 in the 2nd cycle. According the results, it can be concluded that growing interest in reading can improve the Indonesian language skills toward the class I SD Negeri 060886 Medan.

Abstract

The teaching and learning process of teachers plays an important role in the world of education and creates a smart generation in the next generation. Currently, many teachers are not innovating in the world of education and only teach with conventional methods which make students not enjoy the learning that is implemented. Many teachers only do learning in class. The teaching process in formal schools is experiencing saturation. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research with a case study design. The data of this research is primary data which is the main data needed in this research, namely data obtained directly in the field, including data and information obtained from interviews conducted with principals, classroom teachers, and students, written data or documentation in the form of pictures/photos, learning outcomes, other literature related to the problem to be studied. The outing class that has been implemented for 3 years since the history teacher became a history teacher at Madrasah Tahfizhil Qur'an because he himself had applied it to the previous school. Outing class activities are still carried out despite changes to the curriculum in recent years. Madrasah Aliyah Tahfizhil Qur'an has changed its curriculum from the Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) to the 2013 Curriculum. History learning is a process to help develop the potential and personality of students through messages. historical message to become wise and dignified citizens of the nation. History in this case is the totality of human activities in the past and is dynamic. The form of outing class learning is in the form of delivering material at the Avros plantation museum. The application of the outing class method itself has been scheduled in the Madrasah Aliyah Tahfizhil Qur'an education calendar, the process stages of which are planning, implementation, and evaluation. The benefit of outing class is that students will learn in real time, be able to interact with other people, and become students' learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in science learning outcomes by using a jigsaw cooperative type in science practicum courses in class II F. This research was conducted in an elementary school with a total of 21 students. This research is very necessary in applying the jigsaw type cooperative approach to science practicum courses. The data obtained include, tests and observation sheets. This classroom action research consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting, based on the results of research students are given a test of 10 questions. From the results of the initial test, it can be seen that the ability of students to master hibernation material on earthworms in the Science Practicum course is still low, with an average score of 43.3. Of the 21 students there were (28.6%) or 6 students who got complete learning outcomes and (66.7%) or 14 students were in the incomplete or unsuccessful category. From the results of the first cycle of research, it can be seen that the ability of students to master hibernation material on earthworms is still low, with an average value of 62.9. Of the 21 students, there were (57.1%%) or 12 students who got complete learning outcomes and (42.7%) or 9 students were in the incomplete or unsuccessful category. From the results of the second cycle of research, it can be seen that the ability of students to master hibernation material on earthworms has improved better, with an average value of 71.9. Of the 21 students, there were (71.4%) or 15 students who got complete learning outcomes and (28.6%) or 6 students were in the incomplete or unsuccessful category on the subject of science. There was an increase in the assessment in cycle II above the KKM value of 70.

Abstract

A social movement also provides guidance on how members should think. Such norms are something resembling a "party line"- the definition of "correct" position for members to look at a specific issue. There is subtle pressure on the individual to support this position even in the absence of personal knowledge of the argument to argue. Not every member can be expected to learn and think through the justified philosophy of the movement and its values. Ideology provides it with "ready-made", which seems to have the power to organize opinions (arguments) This research uses a qualitative approach, with a research design that develops and is open adapted to field conditions. Adjustment to field conditions is used with respect to the relevance of the problem under study, the use of theories and concepts and method used, the objectivity of the research results is based not on the proof of generalization.  The process of objectivization carried out simultaneously through externalization and internalization which in the process of its socialization gives rise to changes that are not uncommon as a matter of concern, such as nervousness or relative deprivation. The moment of simalungun ethnic objectivization is based on social organizations that carry ethnic names, such as Partuha Maujana Simalungun (PMS), Simalungun Protestant Christian Church (GKPS), Simalungun Islamic Family Association (IKEIS), Simalungun Student and Student Association (HIMAPSI).

Abstract

This study aimed to find out how the role of friendly supervision can improve the quality of learning and how the teacher's creativity and ability in carrying out the learning in classroom. The hypothesis is: How to improve the quality of learning and the ability of teachers to carry out learning that can be improved through friendly supervision. School action research was carried out in two cycles by using the model developed by Kurt Lewin that consisted of four components, namely: planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of this study concluded that the teacher's ability to implement the learning model before friendly supervision was carried out in the sufficient category as 6o%;  after the action was carried out in the cycle, the teacher's discipline level as 70% increased to 90% in cycle II.  Then in cycle I, the percentage of teachers who  completed learning tools by 80% increased to 90% in cycle II, and in cycle I, the percentage of teachers who taught by using new learning methods/models increased from 80% to 100% in cycle II.

Abstract

Parental parenting has an important role also for the development of moral behavior in children. The Indonesian Child Protection Committee (KPAI) assessed that the way of interacting with educated children this year was quite high due to aggressive behavior. In a society, aggressive attitudes are behaviors or attitudes that are widely disliked and tend to be avoided. This is because in social interaction, aggressiveness leads to danger and behavior. At the beginning of adolescent development, the family is the most important environment. The style or way of parenting each parent in educating their children is also different. There are parents who want to discuss or be open in any case to their children and there are also parents who do not want to discuss or be closed in any case to their children. At this time parents, families and the environment play a big role in the development of children, so that they can successfully go through the development process.

Abstract

Games have the potential to be one of the most useful methods of teaching speaking skills, but early observations made about the use of games in class indicate that the game being applied is not suitable for the class. One of the problems observed is that the games used require a lot of time to prepare and only allow a small number of students to talk. This study aims to improve the process of using games to t each speaking by conducting participatory classroom action research in one of the schools in SMP  DHARMA KARYA BERINGIN. The research process follows the steps: Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection. There are two sets of instruments to be used in this study, a list of observations researcher and teacher questionnaires. T he st udents are gi ven a pre-test and post -test to de ter mine the increase in the skills of the students. The results showed that the game ‘Question Game” fits the needs of the class and meets the criteria of ethical speaking game theories after being given several modifications. T-test results on student scores indicate that the improvement made is significant in each cycle. Every aspect of students’ speaking skills also makes a significant improvement with t ob t crit.
