Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the ability to think mathematically and solve problems of students who are members of the SIBABA Bimbel. The research methodology used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Participants in this study were fifth grade elementary school students who were members of SIBABA Bimbel. Data is collected through observation, documentation and relevant references. Students are given tests that assess their reasoning abilities, problem-solving skills, and understanding of mathematics. Data analysis used is descriptive analysis. The results showed that students had difficulty in reasoning because they did not fully understand the concept of reasoning itself. This causes difficulties for students in solving problems, finding solutions, and answering questions. However, students were able to solve problems well and achieve all the maximum indicators, demonstrating their understanding of the form and meaning of problems and how to solve them. Therefore, further guidance in the aspect of reasoning is very important for student progress.

Abstract

The background of this research is the conditions in the Batang Pembina Batang State Kindergarten, Kalisalak Village, Batang. Researchers also found problems learning expressive language skills and expressive language literacy and low literacy reaching 75%. The approach used in this research is the type of research carried out is the ADDIE development research method including: Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementationor Delivery and Evaluations. The ADDIE model was developed by Dick and Carry in 1996 to design learning systems (Mulyaningsih, 2016). This model can be used for various forms of product development in learning activities such as models, learning strategies, learning methods, media and teaching materials. The results of this study are 1. Results of the Smart Wheel (Kintar) media validation using demonstration and play methods to improve expressive language skills and literacy of children aged 5-6 years with very valid criteria. 2. Practicality The validation of the Smart Wheel (Kintar) media with the demonstration and playing method developed can improve expressive language skills and early childhood literacy in kindergarten based on the results of teacher and student response questionnaires. 3. Being able to improve the expressive language skills and literacy of children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten. The effectiveness of learning using the Smart Wheel (Kintar) media with demonstration and play methods can be seen through the effectiveness test with the result that the Smart Wheel (Kintar) media with Demonstration and play methods can improve expressive language skills and motor literacy in early childhood in kindergarten, this is shown by the average score of students' learning ability assessment of 4.00. it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the Smart Wheel (Kintar) media with demonstration and play methods to improve expressive language skills and early childhood literacy falls within the very good criteria.

Abstract

This research aims to determine children's HOTS abilities through TPACK-based balanced learning media for children aged 5-6 at TK Lestari Krengseng. The approach used in this research. The type of research carried out is the development research method or ADDIE (Analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Sugiyono (2015:407) states that research and development methods are methods used to produce certain products, and test effectiveness of the product. To be able to produce a particular product, research is used in the nature of needs analysis and to test the effectiveness of the product so that it can function in the wider community, research is needed to test the effectiveness of the product. The results of this research are 1) Validation results of Blended Learning based learning media TPACK to improve HOTS abilities of early childhood in kindergarten with very valid criteria. 2) The practicality of the TPACK-based Blended Learning media developed can improve early childhood media in kindergartens based on the results of teacher and student response questionnaires, 3) The effectiveness of learning using TPACK-based Blended Learning media can be seen through effectiveness tests with results namely learning media TPACK-based Blended Learning is able to improve HOTS abilities of early childhood in kindergarten, this is shown by the average score of student learning ability assessment of 90. It can be concluded that the effectiveness of TPACK-based Blended Learning media in improving HOTS abilities and interest in learning in early childhood in very good criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of e-module teaching materials using problem solving learning model-based flipbook makers. This research is research and development by adopting the Brog & Gall model (containing potential and problem analysis, product design, product assessment, product manufacture, product testing, and final product manufacture.). The analysis stage of potential problems includes carrying out initial observations during pre-research analyzing problems, media, teachers, and students. The product design stage includes instructions for use, table of contents, mapping of Basic Competency, glossary, indicators and learning objectives, benefits of e-modules, maps concepts, materials, summaries, exercises, worksheets, competency tests, answer keys and bibliography. The development stage is making e-module teaching materials with product aspects, material content, validation and display of the production of e-module teaching materials using a flipbook maker and also developing data instruments. The data collection instruments in this study were product feasibility from expert lecturers and education practitioners, practical worksheets for elementary school teachers and peers. For students readability sheets, pretest and posttest questions for the final evaluation of student learning after using the e-module. The data collection instrument was based on assessments by experts/lecturers, education practitioners, class teachers, peers and also students as research objects. The implementation stage of using the e-module has been developed for fifth grade students at SDN Karangasem 08 Batang. The trials carried out at this stage were product feasibility tests, product legibility and pretest posttest for students, with the results showing an increase in students' critical thinking after students used e-modules using flipbook makers. Evidenced by the paired t-test, the magnitude of the increase in the average pretest and posttest scores shows that there is an average increase (gain) in the pretest and posttest values obtained by 61.00 and 77.72 with an average difference of 16.72. The increase in average indicates that the E-module Flipbook based on the problem solving learning model is effectively used in social studies content in class V SDN Karangasem 08 Batang. The evaluation stage includes the form of evaluation carried out at each stage of the Borg and Gall model. The data analysis technique used is the manova and n-gain tests. The results show that the developed flipbook maker-based e-module is suitable for use in Civics learning. The e-module is feasible and practical to use, and effective for improving the critical thinking skills of fifth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Peer teaching method is one of the methods used in learning of read the Al-Qur’an at SMK Negeri 2 Karanganyar. Peer teaching is a learning method by appointing or assigning students who have mastered a lesson to help their friends who don’t uderstand the subject matter or friends who have difficulty understanding the material. This method involves students to assist teachers in teaching read the Al-Qur’an. Students who have been selected by the teacher will teach their friend to read the Al-Qur’an. The purpose of the study is to describe the application of the peer teaching method in increasing student’s skill in reading the Al-Qur’an at SMK Negeri 2 Karanganyar. This research includes field research with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are in to inform of description of implementation of the peer teaching method from data collecton to evaluation, constraints in the practice off  the peer teaching method, and programs that use the peer teaching method as a learning method.

Abstract

This study aims to look at and analize the development of a local wisdom-based PAUD curriculum in the P5 perspective applied in the Kindergarten Didaktika Uswatun Khasanah Beji. Because not all educational institutions, especially Early Childhood Education, have been able to implement the PAUD Curriculum system based on local wisdom in accordance with the existing programs in P5. That way the author is very interested in being able to dig deeper into the application of the PAUD Curriculum that is implemented in the Kindergarten Didaktika Uswatun Khasanah Beji. The PAUD Curriculum that is implemented civers several aspects for the sake of improving the quality and quality of schools, especially the quality of child development. The results show that the implementation of the PAUD Curriculum based on local wisdom in the Kindergarten Didaktika Uswatun Khasanah Beji has many positive impacts for both school institutions, teachers and students, and the environment around the Kindergarten. Teachers or intructors become more professional in determining the concepts and structures of learning implemented in schools. In addition, students are also more skilled, independent, and synergized in instilling a social and religious spirit with noble character. The success of the quality and quality of schools can be seen from the developments that occur in children. The method in this study uses qualitative research methods. The type of research used is the phenomenological approach. Where the reseracher examines a phenomenon that is experienced in the real world, namely the application of P5 in the Didaktika Uswatun Khasanah Beji Purwokerto Kindergarten. Research is conducted to be understood and studied the truth. Submission of research into the discussion descriptively.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using the Student Teams Ahievement Division (STAD) learning model assisted by Puzzle media on understanding the concept of science in class IV students at SDN I Prigi. This study uses a quantitative approach with a research design that is a quasi-experimental design in the form of a non-equivalent control group design. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. SDN 1 Prigi as the experimental class and class IV SDN 3 Prigi as the control class. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, Independent Sample T-Test, Simple Linear Regression Test, Paired Sample T-Test. The results of this study indicate: (1) There are differences in the student teams achievement division (STAD) learning model assisted by media puzzles in terms of understanding science concepts in experimental class students and the student teams achievement division (STAD) learning model without puzzle media, this is evidenced by a significant level 0.000 which is <0.05 using an independent sample t-test. (2) There is an influence of the student teams achievement division (STAD) learning model assisted by media puzzles on increasing students' understanding of science concepts, this is evidenced by a significant level of 0.002, which is <0.05 using a simple linear regression test. (3) The student teams achievement division (STAD) learning model assisted by puzzle media can improve students' understanding of science concepts, this is evidenced by a significant level of 0.000, which is <0.05 using a paired sample t-test. Based on this study it can be concluded that there are differences, influences, and increased understanding of the concept of science in the use of the student teams achievement division (STAD) model assisted by media puzzles for students at SDN 1 Prigi.

Abstract

The quality of education at the school level is influenced by teacher performance in carrying out tasks, so that teacher performance is an important guide for achieving educational success. The performance of elementary school teachers in the Pecalungan sub-district, Batang Regency, has several problems including some teachers who do not understand about assessment and are not disciplined in time, the preparation for each lesson is not optimal, the conditioning of students in the class is still lacking, and the teacher needs to improve learning strategies that vary in learning. to create a fun and memorable learning atmosphere for students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of academic supervision and school culture on the performance of elementary school teachers in Pecalungan District, Batang Regency. This research method uses quantitative methods with descriptive quantitative types. The population in this study were 170 teachers in the Pecalungan area, Batang Regency. There were 10 school principals and 10 teachers selected from each school. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between academic supervision on teacher performance, there is a positive and significant influence between school culture on teacher performance, and there is a positive and significant influence between academic supervision and school culture simultaneously on teacher performance.

Abstract

The background that drives this research is the low level of self-confidence in the cognitive learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students in Tlogohendro village. This type of research is quantitative research in the form of pre-experimental with the type of one group pre-test and post-test design. The population of this study were fifth grade elementary school students in Tlogohendro village for a total of 35 in the 2022/2023 academic year with a saturated sample. The data in this study were obtained through tests and documentation.The posttest results showed that the percentage of classical group learning completeness at both SDN 01 Tlogohendro, SDN 02 Tlogohendro and SDN 03 Tlogohendro reached 100%. And based on the analysis of student learning outcomes, t'count (36.74) > ttable (1.7), thus Ha is accepted, which means that there is a significant difference in scores between before and after students apply contextual teaching and learning based on information technology.So it is concluded that the contextual teaching and learning model based on information technology is effective in increasing the self-confidence and cognitive learning outcomes of class V state elementary school students in Tlogohendro village.

Abstract

Two Stay Two Stray is a type of cooperative learning that can support active students by providing opportunities to share results and information with other group members. The background problem of this research is the finding that there is still a lack of activeness among students in their learning and group activities. This study aims to determine the level of student activity during learning, as well as the impact of their learning outcomes. The research was conducted at SMP N 36 Semarang in November 2022, with the subjects being students in class VIII F for the academic year 2022/2023. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, and the data collection techniques used included observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The results of applying the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning type in the class of VIII F at SMP N 36 Semarang showed that students exhibited a 85.93% activity level during learning, and their learning outcome completeness reached 81.25%. Based on these percentages, it can be concluded that the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning is effective in increasing student activity during learning, which in turn leads to improved learning outcomes.
