Abstract

Islamic Journalism is a series of activities in conveying messages in the form of da'wah to the public through media channels, one of them is social media. Social media was born to simplify and to be a solution for the human to penetrate the boundaries of space and time. However, excessive use of social media actually causes new problems for humans themselves. Hoax is a negative implication that we feel right now. Regrettably, people easily trust the information on social media without verifying or crosschecking the truth of the information. Islamic Journalism has offered a solution in dealing with hoaxes, of course, solutions that come from the Qur'an and the Hadith.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how to address communication in community development and determine the role of communication in community development. Development is often seen as a way to solve various problems that arise in society, especially in developing countries. Today, the role of communication is considered very important, especially in development. Communication and development are two interdependent things. The method used in this study uses the method or approach of the literature (library research). Studying literature or the library can be interpreted as a series of activities related to the method of collecting data from the library, reading, recording, and processing research documents (Zed, 2003). The result of communication about development is a strategy that emphasizes the need to socialize development with development actors in the form of spreading a message by a person or group to the public to change their attitudes, opinions, and behaviors to increase external progress and internal satisfaction in order to achieve development goals whose benefits can be perceived by all equally. From this, we can conclude that communication for development adheres to the principles of modernization of development, by positioning the government no higher than people who only form models of communication from top to bottom in society.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study, an analysis of the humanistic psychology of bibliomania behavior experienced by students of the UIN Sunan Kalijaga Library Science. The condition where a person has an obsessive-compulsive form of excessive desire to collect books continuously. The goal of the research is to know someone's psychological desire to buy a book and feel relieved in collecting books even though not read. the main motivation in gathering lots of books is just to add to his own insight but when someone has a love and passion for reading books, then all desires related to books will be an extraordinary intellectual adventure. So it is not surprising when a person can be infected with biblicism if he has an excessive desire to buy, read, save, and enjoy books. It's better to love books and buy books naturally, if there is still a large collection of books stored and unread, then hold to buy more books. after reading a book it would be nice to give a review or some kind of ability to write from the results of reading a book. From this creative attitude, we can develop the skills and potential we have to build a civilized nation.

Abstract

Conventional library that only relies on human resources and resources information on paper or physical media cannot last much longer because of a very large information explosion. This is supported by the development and availability of global information infrastructure. Therefore the library must adjust to utilizing information technology in order to provide access to the widest possible information to users. Libraries must provide access to information based on digital media. The development of information technology plays a role in making the wider public access to information. Access to information is facilitated by providing a space / place to be creative for users, access to information, and sources of information needed by users. At present the function of the library has shifted from a quiet room to a meeting place for "creators" or "makers". The library becomes a meeting place (Maker Place or Maker Space) that provides easy access to information and information sources. With the makerspace, the library is no longer just a quiet space, but rather a space of expression and open for the development of creativity and problem solving that produces the product of creativity itself. Makerspace is the right choice for solution in realizing sustainable development goals. That is because the library is able to open access to information to the community, help individuals and the community to develop skills and confidence, and help improve social networking. with the ultimate goal of creating an intelligent and prosperous society for the people of Indonesia.
