Abstract

The implementation of good governance in public bodies continues to be pursued in various ways. In the first stage, public information disclosure is a goal that must be realized. Including at the state university level, different instruments have been prepared and developed to create transparent and accountable governance. Two policies are the focus of this research, namely the Information Management and Documentation Officer to realize public information disclosure and the Integrated Service Unit. This study intends to find the supporting factors for learning public information disclosure through implementing the two programs. Data mining was done by looking at the practices carried out in several PTNs with a sound system, namely Brawijaya University, IPB University, Malang State University, and Jakarta State University. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and searching for supporting documents.

Abstract

The study aimed to describe jamu as herbal medicine, the study of health communication, and philosophy as a cultural identity. The community's herbal medicine consumption habit and the fertile land conditions allow the community planting of various rhizome species as medicines. Indonesians are familiar with the family medicinal plants (TOGA, Tanaman Obat Keluarga), consisting of fruits, vegetables, and rhizomes, as seasoning ingredients. The data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and the informants comprised herbal medicine people in business, herbalists, and consumers. Various media were employed, including direct communication, Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook, pamphlets, brochures, and leaflets on the walls of shops. The findings of this study concern the herbal medicine-based communication health model as a philosophy of identity in Bandar Lampung City, Indonesia. This model increases the awareness of maintaining health and stamina through herbal medicines, besides conventional medical treatment. These medicines help preserve energy, strengthen body endurance, beauty care, and other therapeutic applications.

Abstract

This study aims to find the results of the implications of the use of social media by the Bandar Lampung City government as a crisis communication management strategy during the Covid-19 pandemic. Crisis communication efforts are carried out through the @eva_dwiana Instagram account. This research used a qualitative content analysis method with Instagram content objects @eva_dwiana from 2019 to 2020. The results showed that the Bandar Lampung City Government, through its Mayor, used social media accounts to disseminate instructions regarding the handling of COVID-19 as well as publicize the performance carried out in overcoming the crisis. Other results also have more uploads containing instructions than performance publications. It also shows that the Bandar Lampung City Government prioritizes public safety over the institution's reputation.

Abstract

Islam is a religion brought by the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam which is a mercy for the universe. But lately, there have been several issues of cornering Islam, namely Islamophobia. This is because sometimes the application of Islam normatively and also its application in the real world that we call the term historical Islam occurs in conflict things, so in this case the approach of humanism, the wisdom of thinking, mutual respect and mutual respect in order to create a safe life and peace. The data analysis method that the researcher uses is a descriptive analysis method, which explains the data with the elaboration based on theories, one of the theory is M. Amin Abdullah's theory of normative and historical Islam. This research is in the form of library research. The results of this study are the solution to the normative and historical problem of Islam, namely missionary communication that is humanist, advising, embracing, not criticizing and not forcing and remaining in the arms of ukhuwah Islamiyah as long as these differences can still be tolerated and does not come out of the boundaries of sharia 'at Islam itself. Why does humanist da'wah communication become a middle way to reconcile normative or historical understanding? Because in fact the problem is not the difference itself, but how we respond to these differences.

Abstract

The family includes the primary shaper of this character and supporting factors in realizing these teachings through the formation of morality, as we all know that since birth, the people closest to humans are family members. This article aims to find out about da'wah communication, which is used as an alternative way for children who experience broken homes. This study uses a qualitative research method with the type of research in the form of qualitative descriptive by positioning the author as a critical instrument. As for the results in this study, that parent-child often contains views about power and authority. So it is common for children living in such families to experience rebellion. So, da'wah communication can be a solution for broken home children, based on their parents as preachers who encourage children. Because of the participation of the communicants (mad'u) of their children in the ideas or messages conveyed by the communicators (da'i), namely their parents.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems related to the need for more awareness of the importance of ZIS (Zakat, Infak, Alms) in the community. Therefore the authors designed a social campaign with the theme of the Baznas On The Road For Savings program, which is expected to be helpful for the public and as a means of helping South Sumatra BAZNAS programs to provide information and awareness about ZIS awareness both digitally and offline to the people in the Current Digital Era. The method used is qualitative, with BAZNAS staff informants from South Sumatra and the public participating in social campaign programs.The data collection techniques in this study were moderate participation observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and triangulation of sources. This research was carried out in 3 stages, namely collecting data through observations at BAZNAS in the Province of South Sumatra, after that taking action, namely the implementation of the BAZNAS On The Road For Savings campaign, and finally conducting an evaluation by direct interviews with participants who attended the social movement. Using the AISAS theoretical model, namely Attention, Interest, Search, Action, Share, and several media such as flyers, stickers, banners, and Instagram social media.This study focuses on designing a social campaign to increase awareness of ZIS through visual social media communication. This research uses design methods, concepts, graphic work designs, and media selection. As for the deficiency and success factors, it was found that the shortcomings were due to human negligence and lack of awareness to carry out ZIS, the system was not running optimally, HR factors, and Muzakki's trust, while the success factors were supported by application features and social campaigns so that awareness of ZIS increased. in society. Through the design of the BAZNAS On The Road For Savings campaign, it is hoped that it can raise awareness of ZIS (Zakat, Infak, Alms) in the community so that in the future, the development of campaign success can be appropriately controlled.

Abstract

Several social climbing actions or social climbers by artists, celebrities, public figures, and ordinary people often shock the public's attention. The form of social climber usually done by the community is to show off branded goods, wealth, partners, and so on. This study aims to determine the phenomenon of a social climber as a lifestyle for the people of Indonesia. The method used is a qualitative method with a literature study. Data analysis was carried out using a systematic literature review technique in which the research interprets studies related to social climbers as a lifestyle. The results of this study indicate that the social climber is used as a lifestyle for the Indonesian people to get recognition and attention.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the portrait of the current problem of da'wah and its strategy. This type of research is used for literature review or literature review. The results obtained are the condition of the portrait of da'wah in the current era of information globalization which is increasingly heavy and complex, of course, it becomes a challenge for the development of da'wah. The emergence of problems that target the younger generation becomes a threat point for the survival of Muslims, especially in Indonesia. The portrait of the problems faced and the challenges and threats for da'wah and da'i activists is the "silting of faith" due to the progress of the times such as problems related to the erosion of Aqeedah and Akhlaq, single religious shifts, problems of pluralistic, hedonistic, individualistic and materialistic societies related to rationalism. Muslims. The characteristics of the profile of the Indonesian Muslim community have caused problems both internally and externally. So that it requires the application of an effective and efficient da'wah strategy in order to compete and maintain Islamic values amid the threats of the times by improving the quality in terms of substantive competence and methodology, increasing the value of rahmatan lil alamin and universal values as well as the importance of mastering information technology by utilizing the latest media.
