Abstract

Education is not only a means of transferring knowledge, social and culture, but also a means of inheriting ideology of the nation to the next generation. A nation becomes strong, courageous, and glorious, and conquers other nations by its strong and good educational system, and its implementation. It is generally believed that the education of a nation will automatically follow the ideology of that nation. Pancasila as the ideology of Indonesian should properly become spiritual aspect of national education system. Ironically, it remains a history which was shouted so often to ease the oppressors’ existence in a covered oppression. Besides, it seems that nowadays educational philosophy has lost its identity due to consuming western educational philosophy superfluously. In this case, it is imperative that education in Indonesia should return to our national philosophy, Pancasila, for the sake of prestige and identity of the nation

Abstract

Human resource potensial is an asset and development of human capital in Indonesia Potential proficiency level can be extracted through education and learning. Learning is an attempt to develop the potential of learners that can be turned into competence. One of the potential possessed by learners is multiple intelligences. In the process of learning science in elementary school teacher during treatment and still provide the same educational services to all students. Whereas needs of learners should be served with a variety of ways according to its characteristics. It is necessary for an understanding of the multiple intelligences in learning science in elementary school, so it can stimulate the intellectual potential of each individual stands on learners. This research was conducted at the elementary school in the district Sijujung by questionnaire. The results of the study noted that the 5th grade elementary school students generally already have multiple intelligences that stands out with many variations on each learner.

Abstract

Science and technology education get a lot of criticism, because in fact  what is learned in school can not help the realization of the purpose of idial education  to prepare the next generation in global life demands. In the other aspect, education was praised as the foundation of the future of the nation,  in the development of human character and master the knowledge and skills in science and technology. Science education should be pursued to give a solution to the challenges education: being able to create a generation that can act as innovators in science and technology, bringing together (attitudes, processes, products, applications) in learning, prepare human resources in science and technology, conscious and uphold nasionalisme value. Science and technology education should be developed in a transformative education function, based on quality education, integrated curriculum, and the learning model that empowers potential wholeness.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the implementation of leadership models MIN Head Elementary School in Purwokerto, MI Maarif NU 01 Pageraji and MIM Karanglewas Kidul in the development of the quality of institutions. The method used in this study descriptive qualitative research. The results show that: the model be applicable each of the three different Madrasah adapted to climaticconditions and madrassas that are influenced by the lead figure / head of school.

Abstract

Whole language approach is one approach to language learning. Whole language approach is based on the concept konsrtuktivisme, language experience approcah (LEA) in education. In this approach determines the language as learning materials, learning content and learning process. In applying the whole languageguru know and understand the components of the whole languageagar pembelajarn be done optimally. Components in the whole language there are 8 alound reading, journal writing, sustained silent reading, shared reading, guided reading, guided writing, independent reading, and independent writing.

Abstract

Making of punishment which tends to be negative of course very disturbing world of education. Should not the punishment as a method or tool to discipline children can be interpreted more positively? Should not the punishment be educational method that guarantees creativity and intelligence of children so that they can develop properly? Punishment in education is not a form of torture, both physical and spiritual at will we give to the children. Instead, the penalty is an effort we do to restore the child towards a better and motivate them to become a person who is imaginative, creative, and productive.

Abstract

Early marriage or marriage under the age of crowded discussed by many people in this country. Actually, in fiqh or Islamic law there is no minimum age limit of marriage. Jumhur or the majority of scholars say that the guardian or parent must marry off their daughters at any age. However, due to considerations of beneficiaries, some scholars memakruhkan practice of early marriage. Makruh means may be better left yet. Young girls are not physically and psychologically ready to assume duties as a wife and homemaker, although she had Aqeel baligh or already through the menstrual period. On this occasion the author mengungkapa normative concept of the view early marriage, in this case in view of Islam.

Abstract

The Constitution of 1945 instructs that education essentially humanize human beings. Briefly, it means that education on one side should be a source of strength against any process of dehumanization without discriminative attitude that often threatens the education and future of children. On the other hand, the source of power that allows humans to develop the whole of nature and its potential as a moral and dignified creature; which in turn became the basis of the formation of a great noble nation.

Abstract

The condition of Mathematics, whose image is a non-enjoyable subject for students, must be taken into endless reflection by all concerned parties, especially for teachers whose responsibility is to deliver the learning material to the students. Tedious learning material presentation should be anticipated by providing means of material presentation which are innovative, fun, and able to draw students’ interest.One of the alternatives in providing innovative material presentation is by using comic as a media. Considering the tendency students posse in having interest toward comic, it can be argued that comic is usable as learning media. By inserting mathematics concepts into comics or explaining learning material in form of comics, it is expected that students’ emotional factor and interest are drawn into activities in effort to learn the material. In addition, comic being a visual media is assumed as able to give influence toward the acqusition of knowledge because it can draw students’ attention and interest when the information is delivered. Comic is also one of the alternatives in choosing fun and interractive learning media. The writer argues that the use of comic as media can motivate students to learn, so that the negative image of mathematics that students have in their mind as dificult and non-enjoyable subject can be replaced by mathematics as an enjoyable subject which will draw students attention and interest. In result, students achievement in learning mathematics is expected to improve. Moreover, the use of comic as a media can be combined with various learning models as an additional touch in delivering learning material and it can be twisted by inserting small games in the learning process. As a teacher, we are expected to embed good character values into the comics character we make and use.

Abstract

The educational objective of this study to determine implementation of the integration of science in education at Al-Azhar Elementary School 1 Bandar Lampung, SDIT Permata Bunda 3 Bandar Lampung, and Elementary School Muhammadiyah 1 Bandar Lampung, as well as knowledge integration model is implemented. research methods using qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Purposively selected study site. The results showed (a) the integration model which is implemented in the implementation of science education at Al-Azhar Elementary School 1 Bandar Lampung Islamic modernization model, (b) integration model is implemented in the implementation of science education in SDIT Permata Bunda 3 Bandar Lampung purification using the model, and (c) integration model is implemented in the implementation of science education in Elementary School Muhammadiyah 1 Bandar Lampung using neo-modernism.
