Abstract

Tenganan village of Karangasem regency is one of the ancient Balinese village. Tenganan village has the potential to be used as a variety of attractions both natural and cultural potential. One is the tourist tracking. Given that there are many potential Tenganan village that can be used as a tracking tour, but have not got a touch of communities and local governments. Lack of promotion and accessibility is one obstacle why several other attractions have not been able to flourish. In this regard, the issues raised are (1) what potential there is in Karangasem regency which is used as a tracking tour? (2) How to plan a tour package tracking can be developed to support the potential in Tenganan village? As for who becomes goals of this research was to determine the potential for tracking in the Tenganan Village, and how to plan a tour package tracking to support the potential of Tenganan village. Data collection in this research was done by observation, interviews, documentation and library research. Type of data used is the qualitative data supported by quantitative data, while the data source is the primary data and secondary data. Results of the research showed that of the observations conducted of the potential tracking in Tenganan village is still a lot of potential that has not been developed and the maximum attention, especially from the local government. Development of tourism in the village of Tenganan just focus on gringsing fabric crafts and architecture of ancient houses, so that promotion to tourists to attractions alternative needs to be improved.

Abstract

Employment remains the fundamental probel faced by many countries including Indonesia. One of the efforts the Government of Indonesia in extending employment opportunities is to develop the tourism sector. Bali is one of the potential tourist destinastions and it needs to be marketed. Cooperation between the Travel Bureau with the provider of the accommodation or hotel is one of the ways the potential market and the most instrumental in the development of the company, namely human resources required or called by labor. CV. CAN Tour and Travel is one of the tourist industry in Bali trip with a number of guest handling that quite a lot. This research aims to know the availability of labor needs resevartion in order CV. CAN Tour and Travel development and also to find out how the workforce qualification is required. Determination technique using the key informant that was labor reservation CV. CAN Tour and Travel, while the base of the informant was CV. CAN Tour and Travel Manager. Data analysis technique used is the analysis of workload and workforce needs analysis. The research results obtained indicate that shortage of time working as many as 210 minutes. So the manpower needed by CV. CAN Tour and Travel is two people with the fact that there is only 1 nowaday. It can be seen from the burden of the work done in a day’s work and the workforce absences. So labor needs on the Reservation Department is supposed to be 3 people, with 2 staff 1 reservations and ticketing staff. It was necessary increase manpower in the Labour Departmen’s Reservation in the reservation and also training to develop the ability to work.

Abstract

Selection of research on "Cooking Class as Tour Packages at the Restaurant Laka Leke in Ubud Bali" is motivated the potential that cant be find anything in Ubud area which can be put into a package "cooking class", and how to plan a tour package "cooking class" in support of the potential that exists in Ubud. Data collection in this study was done by observation, interviews, and library research. Type of data used is the qualitative data supported by quantitative data, while the data source are the primary data and secondary data. Results of this study showed that of the observations made on potentiality of tourism in Ubud village is still a lot of potentials that has not been developed and the maximum attention, especially from the local government. Development of tourism in Ubud village just focus on a few places in the Ubud area. For the Bureau of Tourist’s Travel or restaurant should pay more attention to making travel packages which involving local communities and make a package that is unique and different so will not appear tour packages that already exist.

Abstract

Tourists are given to choose many airlines which have their excellence. Tourist want to choose the cheaper price, but on the other hand they also want to have convenience on their travelling. Therefore, the competition among low cost carrier airlines caused many airlines begin to increase their facilities for their passangers such as, PT. Indonesia Air Asia. Datas in this research were collected by observation, interview, questionnaire and literature. Using accidental sampling with 65 domestic tourist respondences. While quality service dimentions are using tangibles, empathy, responsiveness, reliability and assurance. The result shows that factor of ticketing staffs performance in handling complaint is major priority with correspond to level 51,06% , the ability of ticketing staffs to give response to tourist needs become the second priority with correspond to level 54,38%. And the third priority is ability of ticketing staffs to give clear information with correspond to level 55,47%. Those factors have the lowest correspond level and have to take into priority for improvement process. While the factor which has the highest rate is the grooming performance of ticketing staffs with correspond to level 98,16%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan paket Kintamani – Monkey Forest Tour oleh wisatawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan paket Kintamani – Monkey Forest Tour oleh wisatawan mancanegara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan 210 kuesioner kepada wisatawan yang menggunakan paket wisata Kintamani – Monkey Forest Tour, dan wawancara terstruktur dengan Operational Manager dan The Chief of Destination Asia Guide Assotiation. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis Faktor. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada lima faktor yang paling mempengaruhi pemilihan paket wisata Kintamani – Monkey forest Tour oleh wisatawan mancanegara yang menggunakan jasa Biro Perjalanan Wisata Destination Asia. Lima faktor tersebut yaitu harga, icon paket wisata, transportasi, tampilan brosur, penampilan pramuwisata. Berdasakan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka dapat disarankan bagi Destination Asia dengan memperhatikan faktor – faktor yang terbentuk tersebut hendaknya bisa menjadikan hasil penelitian ini sebagai sebuah acuan dan pertimbangan dalam hal baik perbaikan sebuah paket wisata yang telah ada maupun untuk membuat sebuah paket wisata yang baru. Hasil penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi akademisi untuk melakukan penelitian lanjutan dan peneltian-penelitian lainnya yang relevan dengan penelitian ini.

Abstract

This study discusses about tourist characteristic and motivation in Pelaga, Badung Regency, Sibetan, Karangasem Regency, and Tenganan, Karangasem Regency. These three villages were developed into ecotourism village by JED (Village Ecotourism Network). Ecotourism is a community- based tourism, enviromentally sound, and responsible for sustainability. By seeing the number of visitor in Pelaga Ecotourism Village which has yet to reach the target, this is the impact of marketing system is still very common conducted without regard to the characteristics and motivations of tourists. This research purposes is to know the tourist characteristic and motivation who visit Pelaga, Sibetan, and Tenganan Ecotourism Village. Data collection in this research is done by direct obeservation to Pelaga Village, Sibetan Village, and Tenganan Village. Deep interview with the manager of JED and then deep interview with the coordinator of JED in every village, and also deep interview with the tourist to know their motivation visit Pelaga Ecotourism Village. While also using literature study and documentation. The result of this research show that in term geographic characteristic the visitor in Pelaga, Sibetan, and Tenganan Village is come from various country namely USA , Australia, Thailand, Japan, Germany, Canada, Netherland, England, France, Norway, Belgium, Philippines, Italy, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, China, Poland, East Timor, Finland, Korea. In term socio- demographic characteristic the tourist who visit Pelaga and Sibetan dominated by man and in productive age, while in Tenganan is dominated by women and in older age. The whole tourist in three villages are work in private or public sector, and high educational background. Most of tourists who visit, have the motivation to know the culture in three villages.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan wisatawan dalam membeli paket wisata; (2) faktor yang mempunyai pengaruh paling dominan dalam keputusan pembelian paket wisata. Populasi dalam penelitian ini meliputi seluruh wisatawan yang membeli paket wisata di PT. Bali Suci Tour & Travel. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan yang menjadi kriteria adalah wisatawan yang pernah membeli paket wisata di PT. Bali Suci Tour and Travel dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 200 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dengan teknik analisis data analisis faktor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 20 variabel dapat direduksi menjadi 18 variabel yang tersebar dalam 5 (lima) faktor. Terdapat 2 (dua) variabel dikeluarkan dari model karena tidak memenuhi kriteria MSA > 0,5 yaitu variabel product quality (X1.7) dan variabel product offering (X1.13). Dari uji analisis faktor diperoleh hasil bahwa dari 18 variabel yang ditahan di dalam model dan mengelompokkan ke dalam 5 faktor merupakan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan wisatwan dalam membeli produk paket wisata. Faktor-faktor tersebut adalah faktor produk dengan eigenvalue 5,871, faktor pribadi dengan eigenvalue 3,452, faktor psikologi dengan eigenvalue 3,144, faktor sosial dengan eigenvalue 2,197, dan faktor harga dengan eigenvalue 1,151. Dari hasil analisis faktor juga diketahui bahwa faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan wisatawan dalam membeli paket wisata paling dominan adalah faktor produk karena memiliki loading factor tertinggi dari keseluruhan faktor yang sudah terbentuk. Adapun variabel yang termasuk dalam faktor produk adalah packaging, guarantee, perceived fit, dan kualitas fasilitas.

Abstract

The perception of tourist about accessibility from Penelokan village to Toya Bungkah destination” has objective to known the tourist perceptions of accessibility in Toya Bungkah destination. Kinds data used are primary data and secondary data. The data was gain through observations, depth interviews, questionnaires, literature studies, and documentations. Sampling was gain by purposive sampling to option the data of accessibility. The respondents was choose by using quota sampling. Analyzed the perception of tourist by using attitude scale (Likert scale) to measure the results. The result of the research showed that the tourist perceptions of accessibility to Toya Bungkah were : Condition about access from Penelokan to Toya Bungkah get average score was 3.10 is good enough, Quality of access from Penelokan to Toya Bungkah get average score was 3.20 is good enough, Comfortable of access from Penelokan to Toya Bungkah get average score was 3.14 is good enough, Condition transportasion after arrived from Penelokan to Toya Bungkah get average score was 3,48 is good, View at around access the tourist can see from Penelokan to Toya Bungkah get average score was 4.08 is good, Safety with the path from Penelokan to Toya Bungkah get average score was 3.50 is good, Perception of the tourist about Toya Bungkah get average score was 3.76 is good.
