Abstract

Recently wine tourism products are being developed in Bali. Bali’s Wine is produced from the wineries, processed and produced in Bali which can be used as a tourist activity. This study aims to determine the strengths and weaknesses in wine products marketing and opportunities also, threats and know the strategy and marketing program of wine product that can be applied in PT. Sababay Winery. Data collection techniques used observation, interview, literature study, questionnaire, and documentation. Determination of the sample in this study is to use purposive sampling. Informant determination using key informant. This research use descriptive qualitative data analysi combine with likert scale analysis. The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of tourists, to find out the factors those influenced the decision of tourists to buy some souvenirs and also to find the most influenced factors. The methods of collecting data were through observation, interviewed, questionnaire, documentation, and literature study methods. The methods of analysis data were using descriptive quantitative method, through validity test, reliability and analysis of factors those supported by SPSS program 17.0 version. From this research, there are fourteen strength indicators and two indicators of weakness and indicators of opportunity as many as seven indicators and three indicators of threats owned by PT. Sababay Winery. Strategies and marketing programs that can be applied by PT. Sababay Winery is a product creation and development strategy, a strategy to increase wine product promotions, market expansion strategies, and marketing enhancement strategies.

Abstract

Bali as a popular tourist destination has succeeded in searching list of the most desirable destinations in a virtual world. Variety of information backed by increasingly technological developments has put the smartphone in a strategic position as a tour and traveling tool. The existence of the smartphone is very helpful for users to get information and meet various needs quickly. Thus, it is important to examine the preferences of tourists on the use of smartphone as tour and travel tool to Bali. The concept of information technology on tour and travel as the approach of this article. Collecting data done by questionnaire method as much as 322 people of domestic tourists and foreign tourists who analyzed descriptively. The result of this research are the smartphone not only as a tool of technology alone, but has become a tourist travel tool as well as stage social activities, creativity, and share the experience. The shift in the stages of travel has changed due to the smartphone, tourists can choose to travel online, tourists can spontaneously change the travel plans due to unexpected events, and share a moment of the trip. The limitations of this article is the online information was not integral in facilitating the information needs of tourists.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brand image to customer loyalty in Malang Strudel Souvenir Store. The rapid development of Malang Strudel is the foundation of this research. In this study, the customer is tourist who visiting Malang and shopping for souvenirs at Malang Strudel Souvenir Store. This research uses quantitative descriptive data analysis technique using SPSS ver. 20 for Windows. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 166 respondents.This research is quantitative research using reliability test method, validity test, classic assumption test, correlation analysis, coefficient determination test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, and f test. The variables used in this research are the strength of brand association (X1), uniqueness of brand association (X2), brand association advantage (X3) as independent variable and Customer Loyalty (Y) as dependent variable.The result of this research is strength of brand association (X1) and favorability of brand association (X3) have positive and significant influence, while uniqueness of brand association (X2) has positive and insignificant effect. Simultaneously, strength of brand association (X1), uniqueness of brand association (X2), and favorability of brand association (X3) that make up the brand image, have an impact on customer loyalty. A total of 54.1% of customer loyalty can be explained by variable strength, uniqueness, and favorability. While the rest of 45.9% customer loyalty can be explained by other variables that have not been studied in this research.

Abstract

Jemeluk-Amed Beach is a marine tourism destination in the Purwakerti Village. Marine tourism which has a potential in variety of coral reef maintained continuity. Jemeluk-Amed beach has a wide range of tourism activities such as snorkeling, diving, canoeing, and sailing. Travelers who come to visit Jemeluk-Amed Beach certainly has the characteristics and motivations are different from each other. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics and motivations of foreign tourists who visited Jemeluk-Amed Beach, Karangasem. The method used to determine the rating by trip characteristics and tourist descriptor, while the tourist motivation is classified into four groups: the physical motivation, cultural motivation, social motivation, motivation fantasy. A total 110 questionnaire were distributed by field research to tourist as a respondent. The results of the questionnaire then processed quantitative presented in the form of tables and analysis of qualitative data in the form of a narrative text according to the research objectives. The research results showed that foreign tourists visited Jemeluk-Amed Beach is dominated by tourists from The Europe Continent with an average age of 26-35 years (53.64%); the average length of stay 1-3 days (78.18%); most of travelers visited is drifter tourists. Tourist motivation mostly physical stated motivation as a reason to visited; partly motivated to exercise (sports) as much as 40.91% of the overall respondents. Travelers visited for fun (28.18%) of the overall respondents. Suggestions of this study are expected to be contribute ideas to The Government of Karangasem and for groups of fishermen Tunas Mekar and Mina Prami.

Abstract

The concept of mass tourism has two seasons namely high season and low season to determine the number of tourist visits each year, therefore the tourism industry to try to conduct a vigorous promotion by carrying out activities that can bring tourists to stay in one tourist destination. One of the activities that entrepreneurs do in the low season is to conduct activities M.I.C.E. (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions). This research uses descriptive qualitative analysis technique by applying the participatory principle involving M.I.C.E stakeholders, destination manager, travel agent managers and tourists. Ubud Village as a tourist destination also has potential for M.I.C.E activities has not had a convention bureau, this is due to the characteristics of the tourists who come to Ubud and the needs required by the tourism industry managers are different from other tourist destinations in Bali such as Badung regency and Denpasar municipality. During this time, the implementation activities of M.I.C.E. dominated by incentives tourism activities (56.57%), exhibitions (31.72%) and meetings (11.71%). The SWOT results concluded that Ubud Village is still S> W and O?T thus requiring internal consolidation, but seeing O?T has potential for further development. Development strategy were using grand strategy which make the results such as growth, dominance, and maximum investment.

Abstract

This research observed the Toya Devasya, Kintamani. The aim of this research are 1) to know the motivation of domestic tourist’s that visit the Toya Devasya Kintamani, Bangli. 2) to know their perception in regards of its service quality. This research used sample determination method which tend to purposive with taking its sample by using accidental sampling method and determining the number of samples using quota sampling giving 100 questioners to domestic tourist. Data collection technique that used is by interview, observing, documentation, literature study and questioner with analysis technique by qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The result showed the motivation which push domestic tourist’s to visit Toya Devasya are to make the mind calm, relax and free yourself in a beautiful and interesting place, get a new atmosphere. At the same time the motivation that pull those tourist’s to visit Toya Devasya is the beauty of natural mountain kicking, a nice atmosphere to be enjoyed, the source of hot water coming from Mount Batur. The perception of domestic tourist’s to its service quality over all is good, however they still feel that the lack of assurance service in Toya Devasya.

Abstract

Every tourism potential owned by Bali needs to be studied, researched and developed in order to meet the needs of the economy community. One of the tourism potential that needs to be developed in Bali is the wine tourism. Buleleng Regency is one of the largest wineries and also the house of the oldest wine factory on the island of Bali. But there are still many foreign tourists who are not aware of the existence of the wine producing region. This study aims to determine the perception of tourists about the wine products and to know the development strategy that must be done in order to support the activities of wine tourism in Buleleng Regency. The results of this study showing that the tourists perception regarding Bali wine product shows that they feel the quality of the products is good and also shows their interest to do wine tourism in Buleleng Regency. Based on the results of SWOT analysis, there are several strategies that can be applied to develop the wine tourism such as increasing the promotion of tourism in Bali to be better known by foreign tourists, government working together with the wine-producing companies to jointly develop wine tourism activities in Buleleng, and the last by expanding the area of wineries in the district of Buleleng so there is an image or existence of wine tourism in Buleleng. In connection with the results and discussion in this study, the suggestion that is expected to be done by the government is to work with companies that produce wine in improving the quality of products and services, and pay attention to periodicity and innovation on a regular basis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the forms of provision and constraints experienced by stakeholders to provide accessibility for tourists with disabilities in the Denpasar City, South Denpasar District. The informant in this research use purposive sampling method. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, obtained by conducting interview, observation, documentation, and checklist to stakeholder which is divided into three, government, society, and tourism industry. The result of this research is the provision of accessibility for tourists with disabilities by tourism stakeholders in Denpasar City South Denpasar District not yet fully available. The provision of accessibility for tourists with disabilities by tourism stakeholders in Denpasar City, South Denpasar are form of physical accessibility of ram and sliding door while the form of non-physical accessibility are the availability of special services and regulations on the activities of people with disabilities. While the constraints faced by tourism stakeholders in Denpasar City, South Denpasar District in providing accessibility for tourists with disabilities are internal constraints, limited budget and external constraints, regulations that have not specifically regulated the needs of disabled tourists. Suggestion of this research is that among the tourism stakeholder could inisiate, change mindset, and work together in provision accessibility for tourist with disability.
