Hasil belajar dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya minat keahlian, persepsi tentang dunia kerja, motivasi, intelegensi, cara belajar, kesiapan dan lain sebagainya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat : 1) Hubungan persepsi tentang dunia kerja dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Informatika Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Komputer Pelita Indonesia. 2) Hubungan minat keahlian mahasiswa dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Informatika Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Komputer Pelita Indonesia. 3) Hubungan minat keahlian mahasiswa dan persepsi tentang dunia kerja secara bersamaan dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Informatika Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Komputer Pelita Indonesia. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Informatika Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Komputer Pelita Indonesia TA 2017 sebanyak 57 orang yang diambil dari populasi dengan teknik propotional random sampling. Data minat keahlian dan persepsi tentang dunia kerja diperoleh melalui angket dengan menggunakan skala likert. Data terkumpul dianalisis dengan statistik analisis korelasi sederhana dan korelasi ganda. Dari hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa : 1) Terdapat hubungan antara persepsi tentang dunia kerja dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Informatika Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Komputer Pelita Indonesia secara signifikan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,336. 2) Terdapat hubungan antara minat keahlian dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Informatika Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Komputer Pelita Indonesia secara signifikan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,320. 3) Terdapat hubungan minat keahlian mahasiswa dan persepsi tentang dunia kerja secara bersama-sama dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Informatika Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Komputer Pelita Indonesia secara signifikan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,400.?Kata kunci: persepsi tentang dunia kerja, minat keahlian, hasil belajar

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh pemahaman konsep matematika terhadap penggunaan aplikasi SPSS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah assosiatif, alat pengumpulan data menggunakan tes yang disebarkan kepada 35 orang sampel yang diambil secara acak. Analisis data yang dipakai adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier sederhana dengan menggunakan program SPSS 20 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel pemahaman konsep matematika signifikan terhadap kemampuan penggunaan Aplikasi SPSS pada mata kuliah statistik, dengan demikian maka hipotesis(H0) diterima.Kata kunci : Pemahaman, Konsep Matematika, Aplikasi SPSS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) hasil belajar mahasiswa pada perkuliahan tata boga II? menggunakan video (2)? hasil belajar mahasiswa pada perkuliahan tata boga II? menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. (3)? Ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil belajar mahasiswa menggunakan video dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan bentuk Quasi Experimental Design? dengan bentuk posttest-only control group design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Program Studi D4 Manajemen Perhotelan Universitas Negeri Padang dengan sampel penelitian diambil dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, melalui teknik simpel random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan pengukuran melalui tes essay. Uji asumsi yakni uji normalitas menggunakan kolmogrov smirnov, uji homogenitas menggunakan Levene Test,? sedangkan uji hipotesis menggunakan t-test. Adapun hasil penelitian yang diperoleh sebagai berikut. (1) rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa menggunakan video sebesar 61,58? (2) rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 55,86? (3) Terdapatnya perbedaan hasil belajar? mahasiswa menggunakan video dengan pembelajaran konvensional.?Kata kunci: penggunaan video, mata kuliah tata boga II

The problem primarily faced by vocational education institutions is a gap between skills taught at schools and skills required by the industries. This leads to the increasing unemployment rate of Vocational High School graduates. Thus relevant curriculum is required to satisfy the industry demands. This study aimed at analyzing the relevance of the productive course of hair beauty in Vocational High Schools to the job requirements in beauty salons in Padang. This study was qualitative descriptive. The data collection used interviews, observation and documentation. The data collection instruments consisted of observation sheets and interview guidelines. The data were analyzed using the stages of data reduction, presentation and conclusion. The results showed positive relevance of the productive course of hair beauty in Vocational High Schools to the job requirements in beauty salons in Padang. The skills learned in the schools were adequately relevant with the skills required by beauty salons, since from thirteen productive lessons taught in the schools, eleven of them were implemented and used in the workplaces.

AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah browser (flyexambro) yang valid berbasis Android dengan membatasi akses terhadap fitur-fitur di perangkat handphone. Metode penelitian menggunakan pengembangan aplikasi model Extreme Programming (XP) yang terdiri dari tahapan: analisis kebutuhan; desain antarmuka; pengembangan dan implementasi; pengujian dan modifikasi; serta launching. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 90 siswa, terdiri dari 45 siswa ujian berbasis komputer dan 45 siswa ujian berbasis handphone. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan tes pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Pengujian dilakukan untuk 2 pelajaran, yaitu Bahasa Indonesia dan Matematika. Nilai yang diperoleh dari kedua pengujian tersebut dianalisis untuk melihat perbedaannya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, tidak ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan antara ujian berbasis komputer dan ujian berbasis handphone. Penggunaan browser saat ujian menggunakan handphone dapat dan layak menggantikan client berbasis komputer dari segi keamanan, kenyamanan, dan kemudahan pemakaian. AbstractThe research aims to produce a valid browser (flyexambro) based on Android by restricting access to features in mobile devices. The research method used the application development Extreme Programming (XP) model which consists of stages: needs analysis; interface designing; development and implementation; testing and modification; and launching. The research subjects were 90 students, consisting of 45 computer-based exam students and 45 mobile-based exam students. Data collection tools use multiple-choice tests. Data analysis techniques using t-test. The test was conducted for 2 lessons, namely Indonesian Language and Mathematics. The values obtained from the two tests are analyzed to see the difference. Based on the results of data analysis, no significant differences were found between computer-based and mobile-based exams. The use of this browser for exams using mobile phones can and is feasible to replace computer-based clients in terms of security, comfort, and ease of use.

AbstrakProgram matrikulasi penting dilakukan sebagai persiapan bagi mahasiswa baru dalam menerima pembelajaran pada saat perkuliahan berlangsung. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripkan respons mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan TIK IKIP PGRI Pontianak tentang kegiatan matrikulasi yang dilaksanakan. Metode penelitian yaitu deskriptif. Responden penelitian yaitu seluruh mahasiswa yang mengikuti kegiatan matrikulasi tahun akademik 2019/2020 sebanyak 112 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket tertutup. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif-kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 74,11% responden “Sangat Setuju†matrikulasi diadakan untuk topik Pendidikan Karakter; 77,68% responden “Sangat Setuju†matrikulasi diadakan untuk topik Multimedia; 66,96% responden “Sangat Setuju†matrikulasi diadakan untuk topik Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak; dan 63,39% responden “Sangat Setuju†matrikulasi diadakan untuk topik Jaringan Komputer. AbstractThe matriculation program is important as a preparation for new students to receive learning during lectures. The research aims to describe the response of ICT Education Teachers' Training Program IKIP PGRI Pontianak about matriculation activities carried out. The research method is descriptive. Research respondents were all students who participated in the matriculation activities of the 2019/2020 academic year as many as 112 people. The research instrument used a closed questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive-quantitative. Based on the results of the analysis of research data, it can be concluded that: 74.11% of respondents "Strongly Agree" matriculation was held for the topic of Character Education; 77.68% of respondents "Strongly Agree" matriculation was held for the topic of Multimedia; 66.96% of respondents "Strongly Agree" matriculation was held for the topic of Software Engineering; and 63.39% of respondents "Strongly Agree" matriculation was held for the topic of Computer Networks.Â

The ability of modern industrial work must be mastered by vocational engineering students, therefore it is important to develop learning tools that are oriented to the fourth industry. This study assesses the development of mechatronics learning tools that are arranged based on the abilities that must be possessed by students to work in the fourth industrial era using the IDI model. Data was collected from the validity, practicality and effectiveness tests on the programmed subjects in 2019. Learning activities carried out during 16 meetings to produce a smart factory (prototype). Analysis shows that learning tools are developedit is valid, then the response of teaching staff shows the criteria are very practical and based on the response of students also in the category of very practical. The findings, an increase in students' understanding of the value of the end of the semester, but they have to struggle even more to obtain more optimal results. Besides, the learning device also forms the general ability of the learner, the learning communicative, collaborative, innovative, creative, leadership and entrepreneurship that observed during the process of learning to walk

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of instructional video media in coffee knowledge course (barista). In design, this was a quasi-experimental study that implemented learning methods in experimental class and control class. The sample in this study was students taking the coffee knowledge course, consisting of 22 students in the experimental class and 22 students in the control class. Instruments used were learning outcome test and learning activity sheet. The findings showed that video media learning resulted in good learning outcomes, while conventional learning resulted in fair learning outcomes. In terms of activity, students who learnt using video media were more active that those who learnt in conventional setting. It was concluded that the learning outcomes and activity of students in the experimental class were better than those in control class, in other words, instructional video media was more effective than conventional learning for the coffee knowledge course. The novelty observed was compared to conventional learning and it showed that videos containing elements of texts, images, illustrations led instructors or lecturers to teach in a more practical way that facilitated material understanding, unlike conventional learning in which media were rarely used.

AbstrakTujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah pembelajaran Operasional Tata Boga terkait materi perkuliahan dan kompetensi dosen (pedagogik, profesional, kepribadian, dan sosial). Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan sampel sebanyak 30 mahasiswa angkatan 2019/2020. Penetapan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket tertutup. Teknik analisis data mengunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Berdasarkan persepsi mahasiswa, konstruksi materi telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa, meskipun ada beberapa materi yang cukup sulit untuk dipahami; dan (2) Kompetensi dosen pengampu mata kuliah Operasional Tata Boga sangat baik dan dapat dikategorikan sebagai seorang dosen profesional, namun tetap harus ada perbaikan atau peningkatan pada beberapa aspek. AbstractThe purpose of this research was to determine students' perceptions of the courses in Operasional Tata Boga related lecture material and lecturer competencies (pedagogic, professional, personality, and social). This type of research was descriptive with a sample of 30 students class of 2019/2020. Determination of the sample used purposive sampling. The research instrument used a closed questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive. Based on the results of the research it was concluded that: (1) Based on students' perceptions, the construction of the material was in accordance with the needs and was useful for improving student skills, although there were some materials that were quite difficult to understand; and (2) The competence of lecturers in the Operasional Tata Boga course is very good and can be categorized as a professional lecturer, but there must still be improvements in several aspects.
