Abstract

The growth of Palembang city coloured by many international events caused souvenir firms develop. Informal sector is a kind of firm which helps family economy. From the phenomenon, there came this research which intended to analyze the capacity of finance resource, intangible assets, and financial performance of the souvenir firms. This research only concerns with  small and medium souvenir firms in Palembang city. Data were collected by using questionaires, while  method to test the hypothesis used descriptive and regression analysis by SPSS24. The results of this researdh showed that Intangible Asset more influences financial performance than financial resource.  The role of Intangible assets can increase five more times the financial performance, while financial resource only increase half of it.

Abstract

The research carried out tried to examine and analyze the Effect of Job Satisfaction, Motivation, Work Involvement On   Organizational Commitment In Bangau Campus Employees at Unika Musi Charitas Palembang. Research   respondents were employees as educators, namely lecturers without additional assignments and lecturers with additional (structural)  assignments  and  employees  as  educational  support  staff  at  the  Faculty    of Science and Technology, Faculty of Business and Accounting at Catholic University Musi Charitas in Palembang. The results of the Discussion of Job Satisfaction, Motivation, Work Involvement Analysis Influence Against Organizational Commitment In Bangau Campus Employees At Catholic University Musi Charitas Palembang. Analysis techniques using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The Research Method is a case study. Sampling Technique is a convinience.. The results of the study are expected to be useful for improving job satisfaction, motivation, work involvement, which has an impact organizational commitment In Bangau Campus Employee. As input for various policies needed for the progress and continuity of organizational life. For further research, this research is used as information material for research to be carried out in the future by combining other variables outside the variables that have been studied.

Abstract

Research on the analysis of the effect of gender diversity, institutional ownership, and firm size on financial performance using the population of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Sampling was done by purposive sampling method as many as 65 companies. This study wants to see the effect of gender diversity, institutional ownership, and firm size on financial performance. Based on the results of testing the hypothesis obtained that Ha is accepted, namely institutional ownership has a positive effect on financial performance. While the hypothesis for the gender of the board of directors, the gender of the board of directors and the size of the company shows that H0 is accepted, namely the gender of the board of directors, the gender of the board of directors, and the size of the company does not have a positive effect on financial performance

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji secara empiris apakah strategi diversifikasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan pada perusahaan Food And Beverages yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2014 - 2017. Dalam penelitian ini variabel strategi diversifikasi diproksikan dengan Hierschman Herfindah Index (HHI). Kinerja perusahaan diukur dengan Economic Value Added (EVA). Sampel penelitian ini adalah perusahaan Food And Beverages yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dari tahun 2014 sampai dengan 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi sederhana dan menggunakan SPSS sebagai alat penguji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis ditolak sehingga ini menunjukkan bahwa pada variabel strategi diversifikasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan Food and Beverages.

Abstract

The Objective of this research was to prove that the implementation of good corporate governance will have an effect on the real activities manipulation which was done by the management. The implementations of good governance used by this research are board of director composition and audit committee expertise. This research was conducted in Indonesia by using 306 firm years’ observations. The result of this research showed a different result from previous researches. This research showed that the implementation of good corporate governance in the form of board director composition and audit committee expertise do not impact the practice of real activities manipulation. Or, in other words some of the good corporate governance tool could not mitigate the real activities manipulation in the company.

Abstract

Abstract

Women have a very large role in the family. Today the role of women is not just a career, childeducator, caring for her husband and home, but also must play a role in managing familyfinances. The higher awareness of quality of life leads women to become more involved infinancial management and even become the second breadwinner subject after the husband. Thistraining is an early stage training that provides participants with basic knowledge about theimportance of spiritual in supporting work performance, knowledge about health,entrepreneurial motivation, understanding of finance, and skills in processing fabric waste.

Abstract

The low productivity of women was influenced by the limitance of knowledge (horizon) and skill they had. On the other hand, the economy of family became problem which was heavier by the higher cost of living. Knowing this, we, the lecturers of Business and Accounting Faculty, were interested to share our knowledge to help them to have value added for the economy of their family. The materials given were made according to the needs of a women entrepreneur such as the development of enterpreneur creativity, bases of tax, and socialization of Tax Amnesty. While we also gave them go green skill to manage the waste of plasted (straw) to be artistic products such as flowers, bag, etc. From this training the participant could get horizon, knowledge, and skill to make them as qualified enterpreneur. The materials were given in the form of copy and were delivered in simple and easily understood, while for the skill of making the handicraft of the straw was given and practiced directly by the participants. The interactions as questions and answers in this training would make all the participants really involved and understood.
