<![CDATA[Adolescence is a period of growth and development of a person in achieving physical, mental, social, and emotional maturity. This period of self-discovery is not uncommon for teenagers to spend a lot of time outside with friends. This stage causes a lot of negative behavior that will appear, one of which is the behavior of adolescents in smoking. The incidence of smoking in adolescents aged 10 years and over every year continues to increase. The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between the role of parents and smoking behavior in adolescents in the work area of the Galang Health Center, Nguan Island, Batam. The research design is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The results obtained 51.4% the role of parents is not good. Smoking behavior of adolescents 88.6% of adolescents smoke. A small proportion (14.3%) are teenage girls who also smoke. The results of the Chi-square test p = 0.029, there is a relationship between the role of parents and adolescent smoking behavior. It is recommended for parents to always pay more attention to children, especially when they are teenagers, provide a good example in the family environment and always provide education to teenagers, especially smoking is not only damaging to themselves but also to many people.]]>

<![CDATA[Hypertension is a condition in which blood pressure increases persistently which is ranked number one cause of death each year. It is estimated that in 2025 there will be 1.5 billion people suffering from hypertension, this problem occurs in many developed and developing countries. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of stress with the incidence of hypertension at the Sei Pancur Health Center in Batam City in 2018. The research method used analytical design with a cross sectional design. The sampling technique of this study used non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling totaling 61 samples. The results of this study found that the stress experienced was in very heavy stress the majority of 62.3% of respondents, the majority of 91.8% of respondents experienced hypertension. The results of the analysis there is a relationship between stress and the incidence of hypertension with a value of ρ = 0.001 <0.05. Based on this, it is recommended that health services improve health care problems, especially problems that cause hypertension.]]>

<![CDATA[Caring nurses are very important in meeting patient satisfaction, this is one indicator of the quality of service in a hospital. Nurses are people who become one of the keys in meeting patient satisfaction. Therefore, caring nurse behavior can have an effect on quality service to patients. Some studies conducted in Indonesia show that caring is still lacking for patients in hospitals as much as 50% show poor caring. Patient satisfaction is influenced by caring nurses in serving patients in hospitals. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between caring nurses and patient satisfaction in the inpatient room. This study is a cross sectional analytic study and purposive sampling technique with a sample of 67 patients, collecting data using a questionnaire.The Chi-Square test results showed a significant relationship between caring nurses and patient satisfaction in the inpatient room with a p value of 0,045 (α = 0,05). Nurse caring attitude greatly affects patient satisfaction so it is expected that nurses or other health workers can be more sensitive, be responsive and respond well to patient complaints and show sincere care in helping patients recover]]>

<![CDATA[Merokok merupakan salah satu perilaku yang banyak menimbulkan dampak buruk bagi kesehatan baik diri sendiri maupun orang lain. Peningkatan angka kejadian merokok meningkat dari tahun ke tahun terutama juga terjadi pada remaja, ini karenakan kurangnya pengetahuan akan bahaya merokok serta penaruh lingkungan yang memberikan dampak besar kepada remaja yang sedang mengalami masa transisi. Pengabmas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja akan bahaya merokok terhadap kesehatan diri maupun lingkungan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari 2020 di kepulauan Galang dengan 35 remaja. Hasil dari pengebmas didapatkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman remaja sebelum dilakukan kegiatan dan sesudah kegiatan dlihat dari hasil pretest pengatahuan baik 29% remaja dan hasil posttest pengetahuan baik 69%. Pengabmas ini diharapkan masyarakat terutama orang tua dapat lebih memberikan contoh yang baik terhadap anak-anak agar berperilaku hidup sehat serta tenaga kesehatan juga selalu sering memberikan edukasi kesehatan yang terjadwal terhadap remaja khususnya.]]>

<![CDATA[Pola Hidup Bersih dan Sehat merupakan semua perilaku kesehatan yang dilakukan karena kesadaran pribadi sehingga keluarga dan seluruh anggotanya mampu menolong diri sendiri pada bidang kesehatan serta memiliki peran aktif dalam aktivitas masyarakat. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan memotivasi anak-anak panti dan pengasuh mengenai Pola Hidup Bersih dan Sehat. Metoda yang diunakan dalam pengabdian ini menggunakan media audiovisual dan leaflet. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dipanti asuhan Mahabbatul Haq Tanjung Uma Batam yang dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2019 dengan jumlah peserta 35 orang. Proses pengabdian ini akan diberikan pre tes dan post tes pada anak-anak dengan menggunakan instrumen yang dibuat oleh pengabdi berdasarkan materi yang diberikan. Hasil kegiatan pengetahuan peserta meningkat dari 34% menjadi 66%, kegiatan ini bermanfaat untuk anak-anak, serta diharapkan pada pengasuh panti untuk lebih memperhatikan pola hidup bersih dan sehat anak-anak panti.]]>

<![CDATA[Penyakit Coronavirus (COVID-19) merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh virus korona yang ditemukan pada awal tahun 2020 dan sampai sekarang virus corona telah menyebar hampir di seluruh negara . Kasus ini terus meningkat dikarenakan masih banyaknya masyarakat yang abai akan protokol kesehatan. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk memberikan edukasi dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap gerakan 5M dimasa pandemi covid-19. Metode yang dilakukan berupa ceramah, pembagian leafleat dan pemberian masker. Pelaksana kegiatan pengabdian dari dosen dan mahasiswa yang dilakukan satu hari diwilaya kerja puskesmas Lubuk Baja Batam dimana sebelumnya telah dilakukan persiapan untuk kegiatan.Hasil dari pengabdian ini masyarakat dapat menyadari dengan melakukan protokol kesehatan dapat mengurangi risiko penularan COVID-19 dan akan mematuhi protokol kesehatan 5M memakai masker, menjaga jarak, membersihkan tangan, mencegah dan mengurangi mobilitas. .]]>

<![CDATA[Commitment is the attitude or behavior of likes or dislikes shown by someone against the organization at work. Indonesia is recorded as a nurse who has a low organizational commitment (76%) so it harms services. This phenomenon in the hospital can be seen from the indicator of the high turnover rate of nurses which reaches 30.9% which exceeds the standard <5%. Many factors affect organizational commitment. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Personal Factors Associated with Organizational Commitment of Hospital Nurses. This study is a cross-sectional analytic study and purposive sampling technique with a sample of 59 nurses. Chi-Square test results obtained personal factors that have a relationship with organizational commitment Nurse Hospital is age with p = 0,000 and education with p = 0,000, personal factors not related to organizational commitment are gender p = 1,053 and years of service with p = 1,147. Hospitals should conduct research/surveys on Organizational Commitment periodically as an evaluation material in the context of the organization's development and development in the future.]]>

<![CDATA[Job satisfaction is a pleasant mental state perceived by a person on the job because of the requirement for adequately. Someone who has a high level of job satisfaction will have a positive feeling about the job. This study aims to look at the factors associated with job satisfaction of nurses in the hospital harapan bunda batam 2015. The design of this study using cross sectional study design. Samples taken by total sampling with total sample of 74 nurses. Results of the study are the factors mitivator and hygiene factors more than half are not implemented. Statistical test results obtained Motivator factors that have a relationship with the achievement of satisfaction of nurses are working nurse with p = 0.020, recognition of the work with p = 0.003, and the work itself with p = 0.027. Hygiene factors linked to the satisfaction of nurses are working regulations with p = 0.013, p = 0.011 salary, and interpersonal relationships with p = 0.070. After multivariate analysis obtained factor most dominant working conditions and job satisfaction of nurses with OR = 5.123. The implications of this study demonstrated that the mother's hospital hopes more attention to factors related to job satisfaction of nurses so that the quality of service provided nurses can work well]]>

<![CDATA[PROM (premature rupture of membranes) is still an issue in obstetrics. PROM can be caused by a variety of reasons, one of which being anemia, which affects 12-70 percent of pregnant women in Indonesia. The goal of this study at Embung Fatimah Hospital was to see if there was a link between anemia and the rate of early rupture of membranes in pregnant women. An analytic observational method with a cross sectional design was used in this investigation. A total of 69 mothers were included in the study. According to the study's findings, there were 34 maternity mothers who suffered from anemia (49.3 percent ). There were 38 women who experienced early rupture of membranes during their pregnancy (55.1 percent ). The total number of The P-value for the chi square test was 0.000 0.05, according to the results of the investigation. It is intended that moms will pay greater attention to their health and check in with health services, and that health care providers will provide more education and other high-quality health services to pregnant women to reduce difficulties.]]>

<![CDATA[Anak merupakan dambaan setiap keluarga. Setiap keluarga mengharapkan anaknya tumbuh kembang secara optimal (Soetjiningsih, 2015). Kualitas seorang anak dapat dinilai dari proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan. Pertumbuhan adalah suatu proses pertambahan ukuran, baik volume, bobot, dan jumlah sel yang bersifat irreversible (tidak dapat kembali ke asal) sedangkan perkembangan adalah salah satu indikator dalam memantau kesehatan anak. Perkembangan anak mencakup perkembangan personal sosial, motorik kasar, bahasa, dan motorik halus. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan pada tanggal 20 oktober 2021 di wilayang puskesmas sungai panas.Kegiatan ini bertujuan mendeteksi tumbuh anak pada usia dini, agar orang tua, masyarakat dan petugas kesehatan setempat dapat meningkatkan perhatian pada anak sejak dini.Proses awal kegiatan di mulai dengan melakukan skrining data anak dan di lanjutkan dengan skrining tumbuh kembang pada anak yang sesuai dengan usia pada anak dengan menggunakan kuesioner skrining perkembangan (KPSP). Pada kegiatan ini didapatkan sebanyak 25 anak yang berhasil di skrining dengan distribusi anak usia 0-24 bulan sebanyak 10 anak, 24-72 bulan 15 anak. Dalam pengabdian pada masyarakat ini perlu di tingkatakan pelayanan kesehatan pada anak agar tumbuh kembangan anak di wilayah kerja ini dapat terperhatikan dengan baik.]]>
