Abstract

Education is a human need throughout life. Educators are required to develop knowledge and skills in improving the quality of education, especially in teaching and learning. Educators should use teaching methods that can make the students active participation in the learning process as a discussion of teaching methods, so that more students are expected to understand and know about the on going learning. This research aims to determine the relationship of teaching methods discussion with the course learning outcomes concept of midwifery in the first semester student at the Academy of Midwifery Sehat Medan. This research is relational with Cross sectional study design, sampling techniques purposive sampling is taken on the specific considerations that the student first semester class C already represents an other class, which is amount 58 respondents. Based on the statistical test is known that the distribution of discussion teaching method adopted by the lecturer had a good response some 47 people (81%). While the distribution of subjects studied midwifery concept most scored B some 32 people (55,2%). Moment and product test results with confidence level (α) = 5% (0,05), obtained results r count = 0,628 greater than r table = 0,254, so the hypothesis that "There is a relationship between teaching method discussion with the course learning outcomes concept of midwifery", accepted and had a significant relationship with the degree of closeness of the relationship significant. It was concluded that the discussion method is a method that serves to motivate and stimulate the students to be able to solve the problem. It is suggested that a lecturer in midwifery to be more likely to use any method of discussion on the elements of learning theories, so that the student can improve midwifery knowledge and information to solve problems in the interaction.

Abstract

Early childhood sex education is important in child development. Given that all this time education in this phase is often ignored or poorly understood by the community. The aim of this study is to increase the knowledge of parents so that the parenting process about sex education in early childhood can be carried out. This type of quantitative research uses a quasi experimental research design with 2 groups of pre test and post test. The research was conducted at Alumna Islamic School in September 2019-March 2020. The research sample was 20 respondents with 10 control groups and 10 experimental groups. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data processed by computerization. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate using Chi-Square statistical test. The results obtained were univariate age distribution of control group respondents aged 20-35 years (80%), DIII and S1 education (40%), civil servant occupations (40%), occasional sexuality education (50%), while the experimental group aged 20 -35 years (80%), S1 education (50%), private employees (30%) and frequent parenting (70%). The statistical test results obtained p value <0.05, which means that there is a difference in the average value of parenting and sexuality education of respondents pre and post intervention in the experimental group which is significantly different compared to the control group. It is recommended that parents increase their knowledge of early childhood education.

Abstract

Hepatitis B is an infectious disease that attacks the liver can be acute and chronic and can cause cirrhosis (hardening of the liver) and liver cancer. Hepatitis B is quietly one of the leading causes of death, causing liver damage that occurs gradually over the past 20 years. Hepatitis B is transmitted directly from infected pregnant women as much as 90-95% has the potential to become chronic with the risk of various complications as well as a source of transmission of Hepatitis B during his life and even death in young adulthood. This study aims to obtain in-depth information and analyze the causes of hepatitis B in pregnant women (Phenomenology Study) at the Perhentian Raja District Health Center. Kampar was conducted from December 2019 until June 2020. This type of research is a qualitative study with a Phenomenology research design. The number of informants is 19 people determined by purposive sampling. Informant's knowledge, family history of Hepatitis B, and history of immunization are factors that cause hepatitis B in pregnant women. It is expected that Health Officers can increase socialization and counseling about infectious diseases of Hepatitis B in the community, so as to increase public knowledge in order to reduce the number of Hepatitis B among pregnant women.

Abstract

Compliance pregnant women implement a recommendation health workers to consume tablet fe pregnancy.This behavior can be influenced by knowledge, attitudes and education level. This report aims to review the knowledge, attitudes and levels of compliance pregnant women in consume tablet fe in the work area UPTD Puskesmas Tenayan Raya. This research using design research cross sectional with respondents as much 89 pregnant women .Where taken as random sample of sampling. Data analyzed by test chi square using spss 16,0 with a singnifikan p <0,05. Research results obtained that is no link between knowledge (p value = 0,014 ), attitude ( p value = 0,031 and education ( p value = 0,046 ) of compliance pregnant women in consume fe.Conclusions obtained bahwasannya knowledge, attitudes and education level with links to conduct smoking students, that suggested to the health workers would motivate pregnant women as well as never in providing information about the importance of consume tablet fe against what they contain, these figures mortalitas and morbilitas on the reduced. Abstract

Remaja merupakan masa perubahan mental emosional menuju dewasa. Permasalahan yang dihadapi remaja saat ini adalah perilaku seks bebas yang semakin meningkat. Perilaku seksual remaja melakukan hubungan seksual di Provinsi Riau 44,23% tahun 2012, AIDS umur 20-24 tahun 16,6% tahun 2016 dan mengalami peningkatan setiap tahun. Penyebab kurangnya pemahaman terhadap pendidikan seksualitas pra nikah yang didapat oleh remaja. SMK Migas Teknologi Riau menengah Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan yang didominasi oleh laki-laki. Pendidikan Seksual tidak merata dibangku sekolah, hanya didapatkan dari media sosial dan teman sebaya, sehingga memunculkan paradigma berbeda dimata remaja yang mudah terpengaruh pada kenakalan remaja terutama perilaku seksual. Solusi dalam pencegahan seks pranikah dengan memberikan penyuluhan pendidikan seksual yang benar terhadap remaja. Kegiatan penyuluhan dilakukan pada hari Jum’at, 28 Februari 2020 di Aula dengan jumlah peserta 32 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah dan tanya jawab, serta pemutaran Video menggunakan media Infokus. Siswa antusias bertanya dan mendengarkan penyampaian materi

Abstract

One primary factor efficacy of education is the pattern of taking care of old fellows. Patterns take care of old fellows very having an effect on the growth of children. Each pattern takes care of existing old fellows, which will give different influences on child characteristics. Old fellows represent the environment closest which always circuit child at the same time become their idol and figure. The target of the research is to know the influence of the pattern take care of old fellows to pre-child characters going to school in Mardisiwi Kindergarten, Tapung Makmur Village, Kampar Regency Year 2020. Research type that is quantitative with method approach of cross-sectional. Research conducted in Mardisiwi Kindergarten, Tapung Makmur Village, Kampar Regency. The population in this research that is amounting to 41 by using totalizing sampling. Research instrument use questionnaire. Data analysis uses analysis of univariate bivariate and. From the result of the research influence of pattern take care of old fellow to pre-child character go to school in Mardisiwi Kindergarten, Tapung Makmur Village, Kampar Regency Year 2020 P-value 0.011. With the existence of this research is expected can add knowledge to parents about the influence of patterns take care of old fellows on school pre-child character.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) is a pandemic because all countries in the world have been affected by this outbreak so it has an impact on various aspects of life such as the economy, health, and education. Five-finger hypnosis is a form of self-hypnosis that can cause a high relaxation effect that will reduce tension and anxiety in a person's mind so that it affects the production of hormones that can spur the onset of anxiety. Schoolchildren have never had Five-finger Hypnosis Therapy at school, Covid 19 conditions schoolchildren learn online and only focus on subjects. The new normal condition of learning time alternately some enter the morning and some enter the afternoon, if not given Five finger Hypnosis Therapy then the child is less able to face anxiety. The main problem faced by partners is SDN 43 Pekanbaru, namely that its students have never been given five-finger hypnosis therapy, so five-finger hypnosis therapy will be carried out in the face of anxiety in school children. Before and after the activity, an assessment of the initial and final abilities of the participants will be carried out, so that from this activity a measurable increase in knowledge will be obtained. The majority of respondents with moderate anxiety were 33 respondents (57.9 %). the majority of respondents with moderate anxiety were 31 respondents (54.4 %). there is an influence of PKM Five Finger Hypnosis Therapy in Dealing with Anxiety in Elementary School Children at SD Negeri 43 Pekanbaru on pre-test and post-test.

Abstract

Sejak munculnya Covid-19 akhir 2019, berdampak pada berbagai aspek kehidupan seperti ekonomi, kesehatan, dan pendidikan. Sesuai arahan Presiden RI, pelaksanaan pembelajaran tatap muka pada satuan pendidikan pada wilayah PPKM level 1-3. Sementara wilayah PPKM level 4 tetap melaksanakan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Hal ini membuat mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan kecemasan sejak awal pandemi Covid-19. Sehingga mahasiswa harus mampuberadaptasi dengan mengembangkan koping yang optimal untuk meminimalkan kecemasan terhadap perubahan yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan mekanisme koping dengan tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa STIKes Al Insyirah Pekanbaru selama masa pandemic Covid-19. Jenis penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif dengan jumlah sampel adalah 143 sampel, dengan metode total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer berdasarkan kuesioner baku yang disebar secara online berbentuk google form kepada responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mekanisme koping adaptif sebanyak 97 responden (67,8%), kecemasan ringan sebanyak 87 responden (60,8%). Hasil uji bivariat ada hubungan signifikan antara mekanime koping terhadap tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa STIKes Al Insyirah Pekanbaru selama masa pandemic Covid 19 dimana p-value < 0,05 yaitu 0,000. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi untuk penelitian lanjutan dalam menghadapi kecemasan dan perilaku dimasa pandemi Covid 19 dan mahasiswa selalu mengembangkan perilaku koping adaptif untuk mengurangi kecemasan akibat pandemic.

Abstract

BRAIN GYM TRAINING FOR IMPROVING SHORT TERM MEMORY ABILITY IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN AT SD NEGERI 43 PEKANBARU CITY. Brain Gym is a new method developed to stimulate (lateral dimension), relieve (focusing dimension) or relax (focusing dimension) children who are involved in a learning situation that can stimulate children's short-term memory. Previously, SD Negeri 43 Pekanbaru had never received training and counseling related to Brain Gym. Activities carried out on site with counseling and training for elementary school children in grade IV that have been determined. The method used is the lecture method and practice. Counseling involves the homeroom teacher and all students in grade IV. The activity of asking permission from the principal and class teacher, determining the schedule for implementing activities, preparing things needed in implementation, conducting counseling related to Brain Gym theory and practice directly to all students. Previously, the activity was carried out with a pre test and after the activity a post test was carried out. The questionnaire uses the Short Portable Mental Status Questionnaire (PSMSQ). The counseling activity was carried out in 4 stages, namely initial survey, pre-test, Brain Gym counseling, brain gym practice, post-test and evaluation. Brain gym is done to improve short-term memory in school children. The total number of extension participants was 57 students and 3 teachers. The solution offered is by conducting counseling and practicing brain gym exercises which are expected to improve short-term memory in children at SD Negeri 43 Pekanbaru. The results of the pre-test mean value of 1.089 and post-test of 0.91 so that there was a significant change between the pretest and post-test, meaning that brain gym training can improve short-term memory of elementary school children.

Abstract

It is very important to introduce sex education to early childhood in order to protect children from violence or sexual abuse and bridge children's curiosity about things that lead to vulgarity. Sexuality education for children should be given when children ask questions related to this. Many of the research results suggest early sexuality education through activities in the community, especially in the world of education, bearing in mind that there are still many cases of sexual violence against children and continue to increase, plus in this modern era there are still many parents who are taboo about giving sex education to their children. their children, so it is expected that there is a need to optimize sex education. SD Negeri 43 Pekanbaru as a partner is one of the schools in the city of Pekanbaru, based on the discussion, the school said that sex education had never been carried out for their students and they would very much welcome anyone providing education about sexuality. The solution offered is by providing information about sex education through counseling and games methods, to determine the success of the education is carried out by giving pre-test and post-test before and after education. The pre and post-results show that there is a change in the mean between the pre-test and post-test with a difference of 0.404. Based on the statistical results, it was found that the p-value was 0.042, which was less than 0.05. It can be concluded that there is a difference between the value of sex education during the pre-test and post-test.
