Abstract

Background: Depression in elderly is widespread, often undiagnosed, and usually untreated.Objective: This study aimed to determine the relationship between personality, family support, and depression in elderly in the Home Care Center of Tresna Wedha Minaula Kendari.Methods: This was a correlational cross-sectional study conducted in 2015. The population in this study is all elderly people in the Home Care Center of Tresna Wedha Minaula Kendari as many as 90 persons. Of the total population, 41 samples were selected using purposive sampling. Data data were analyzed using frequency distribution and chi square test. Results: There were significant associations between personality type (p = 0.019), family support (p = 0.047), and depression in elderly persons. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between personality type, family support, and depression in the elderly in the Home Care Center of Tresna Wedha Minaula Kendari. It is important to understand how the roles of personalities and family support from each family member contributes to depression.

Abstract

The hope of this research is to establish manateau kanji extract as a formula for bagea production that comes with gonad diadem setosum (sea urchins), which is rich in nutrients and therefore ideal for women pregnant. Cassava kanji extract can be used as a food formula ingredient to make a range of food formula The goal of this study is to examine the formula of bagea made from cassava flour extract and Gonad Diadema Setosum (Sea urchins) as an aging food in pregnant women. Pre-experiment design in the manufacture of bagea solution. The highest favorite amount for cassava flour bagea is BTP 2 (sago flour 50, cassava flour 50) with a value of 3.26. In addition, the highest level of favorite in the manufacture of bagea made from cassava flour and the addition of gonad is BTP 2 (sago flour 50, cassava flour 50 and gonad 20) In order to increase the preferred value of bagea with the addition of cassava flour and gonad, it is important to add certain ingredients to add flavor to remove odor.

Abstract

Background: Providing additional food made from local food is one strategy for handling nutritional problems in malnourished toddlers and SEZ pregnant women. In order to support improving the quality of Indonesian people, strengthening an economic structure that is productive, independent and competitive, the government has targeted an acceleration in reducing the stunting rate under five. In order to support the implementation of the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction which aims to achieve the quality development target by 2030 and the stunting prevalence target of 14% by 2024.Objective: To produce a comprehensive, up to date and effective analysis of supplementary feeding analysis: Accelerating Stunting ReductionResearch Method: This research uses a qualitative approach and design. Participants in this research were leaders and staff of institutions related to stunting prevention, namely: Provincial Health Services, District Services, Community Health Center Nutrition Officers and Posyandu Cadres. Materials and Tools: Questionnaire form, Camera, Video/handycam equipment, other ATK. This research was carried out in the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Health Service Area, in June-November 2023. Data analysis method: Reading/studying the data, marking key words and ideas that is in the data. The steps in data analysis are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing as follows: Data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawingResults. PMT activities made from local food can build family independence in providing quality food for pregnant women and toddlers. Malnutrition among toddlers and pregnant women in KEK in Southeast Sulawesi. This problem must be corrected. One program is providing additional local food. Where Southeast Sulawesi is a coastal and island area that has a lot of food. The success of the local feeding program is demonstrated by improvements in the nutritional status of both targets. In toddlers, success can be seen from the weight gain each month. In this activity, the community health center plays a very important role. At the Puskesmas, all activities carried out by cadres can be monitored by the Puskesmas nutrition staff.Suggestion: Improvements in funding are needed, namely additional funds for food distribution to cadres, adequate transportation is needed. It is necessary to evaluate the process of providing additional food made from local ingredients and evaluate weight gain in children under five and increase in LILA size in pregnant women.

Abstract

Introduction: Malnutrition is a nutritional problem caused by lack of nutrition all intake both in the short and long term, generally determined by the type of nutrient less consumed by toddlers. The problem of undernutrition can be overcome by means of feeding and health practices for toddlers with the aim of restoring and improving nutrition and forming eating habits of toddlers in adulthood. Method: The type of research used in this study is a quantitative study, namely pre-experimental with a two group pretest-posttest design, with a total sample of 67 toddlers, 35 toddlers tumpi tuna samples and 32 toddler MT biscuit samples carried out for 4 weeks, using an independent t-test. Result: The tumpi tuna group had a greater weight gain than the MT biscuit group for toddlers. Conclusion: Looking at the average increase in body weight of toddlers, giving tumpi tuna isbetter for increasing toddlers' weight than giving MT biscuits to toddlers.

Abstract

Introduction: Kendari city as the provincial capital with the largest number of health facilities and logistical access compared to other cities in Southeast Sulawesi still finds cases of malnutrition around 5%. The percentage of undernourished, at the age of 0-59 months, the highest was recorded at the Benu-benua health center, Benu-benua village at 2.15%, far above the Kendari city average of 0.72%. This nutritional status is thought to be related to the level of intelligence of children in the area. Methods: The type of research that will be conducted is quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. Population of this study is 251 students and the number of samples is 108, the sampling method is stratified random sampling, the data is tested with the Kruskal Wallis test after the data obtained are not normally distributed. Result: The results of this study on the current nutritional status showed a P Value of 0.017 < 0.05 and the previous nutritional status showed a P Value of 0.026 < 0.5, while the social status showed a P Value of 0.139 > 0.05. Conclusion:The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between current nutritional status and previous nutritional status with students' IQ scores and there is no relationship between socioeconomic status and students' IQ scores.

Abstract

Pendahuluan Salah satu masalah gizi masyarakat yang terus meningkat di Indonesia yakni tentang Stunting bawah lima tahun. Stunting terjadi sebagai akibat gizi kurang terutama pada 1000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan. Umur balita termasuk umur dimana proses tumbuh kembang terjadi dengan pesat. Pada periode ini butuh asupan zat gizi adekuat termasuk kuantitas dan kualitas, hal ini disebabkan oleh aktivitas fisik yang cukup tinggi dan masih terjadi perubahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Pola Makan, Tinggi Badan Ibu dan Riwayat Penyakit Infeksi dengan Status Stunting pada Balita Usia 6-59 Bulan di Wilayah Pesisir desa Manuru Kabupaten Buton. Metode Jenis penelitian ini adalah Analitik Observasional dengan desain cross sectional study. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalahBalita usia 6-59 bulan yang mengalami Stunting (pendek dan sangat pendek) di Desa Manuru sebagai salah satu desa lokus Stunting yaitu sebesar 89 balita.Teknik Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik simple random sampling. Besar sampel sebesar 73 Balita. Analisis data dilakukan dalam dua tahap yaitu analisis deskriftif dan analisis inferensial. menggunakan bantuan aplikasi statistik. Untuk mengetahui hubungan variabel independen satu persatu digunakan uji chi square dengan rumus chi square. Hasil Ada hubungan pola makan dengan Status Stunting pada Balita usia 6-59 bulan di Kabupaten Buton pv=0,000 dan C=0,607). Ada hubungan tinggi badan Ibu dengan Status Stunting pada Balita usia 6-59 bulan di Kabupaten Buton pv=0,000 dan C=0,607 Kesimpulan dan Saran Ada hubungan riwayat penyakit infeksi dengan Status Stunting pada Balita usia 6-59 bulan di Kabupaten Buton pv=0,000 dan C=0,707. Saran penelitian ini adalah perlunya pemberian imunisasi lengkap bagi Balita guna mencegah penularan penyakit. Perlunya keaktifan kader dan petugas gizi di Puskesmas dalam memberikan konseling gizi bagi orangtua. Perlunya peran serta seluruh elemen masyarakat dan lembaga pemerintah dalam penanganan dan pencegahan stunting.

Abstract

Stunting atau balita pendek adalah balita dengan masalah gizi kronik, yang memiliki status gizi berdasarkan panjang atau tinggi badan menurut umur balita memiliki nilai z-score TB/U kurang dari -2SD dan apaila kurang dari 3SD dikategorikan sebagai balita sangat pendek. Data PSG Sulawesi Tenggara juga terjadi peningkatan pada tahun 2016 sebanyak 20,6% dan tahun 2017 sebanyak 21,2%. Berdasarkan RISKESDAS Sulawesi Tenggara tahun 2018 prevalensi status gizi balita stunting di Kabupaten Muna Barat sebesar 18,6% salah satu Puskesmas Pajala memiliki prevalensi status gizi balita stunting sebesar 27,0%. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui hubungan pola makan, asupan energy, protein, dan pengetahuan gizi ibu dengan status gizi (stunting) pada anak usia 24-59 bulan diwilayah kerja Puskesmas Pajala Kabupaten Muna Barat. Metode Penelitian: penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional dengan menggunakan rancangan desain cross sectional study, penelitian ini dilaksanakan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pajala Kabupaten Muna Barat dan dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari-Maret 2022. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil secara random sampling dan terpilih sebanyak 61 sampel. Uji statistik yang digunakan yaitu Chi-square. Hasil: penelitian ini diperoleh status gizi (stunting) pada anak balita sebanyak 22 orang (36,1%), pola makan sebanyak 35 sampel (57,4%) dalam kategori kurang, asupan energi sebanyak 55 sampel (90,2%) dalam kategori rendah, asupan protein sebanyak 3 sampel (4,9%) dalam kategori rendah dan pengetahuan gizi ibu sebanyak 25 sampel (41,0%) dalam kategori kurang. Hasil uji statistik diperoleh ada hubungan pola makan dengan status gizi (stunting) pada anak balita (p=0,018), tidak ada hubungan asupan energi dengan status gizi (stunting) pada anak balita (p=0,297), tidak ada hubungan asupan protein dengan status gizi (stunting) pada anak balita (p=0,919), tidak ada hubungan pengetahuan gizi ibu dengan status gizi (stunting) pada anak balita (p=0,297). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan signifikan pola makan dengan status gizi (stunting) pada anak balita usia 24-59 bulan diwilayah kerja Puskesmas Pajala Kabupaten Muna Barat (p=0,018), tidak ada hubungan asupan energy, protein, pengetahuan gizi ibu (p=>0,05) dengan status gizi (stunting) pada anak balita usia 24-59 bulan diwilayah kerja Puskesmas Pajala Kabupaten Muna Barat.

Abstract

Based on preliminary study data obtained from Rahia Community Health Center. Some mothers who have babies aged 0-6 months show that in 2020 the prevalence was 65% giving early MP-ASI and 35% exclusively breastfed, whereas in 2021 the prevalence was 50%. Which provides early MP-ASI and 50% exclusive breast milk. This study aims to determine the relationship between maternal nutritional knowledge and family income with early MP-ASI provision at the Rahia health center, Gu subdistrict, Central Buton district. Method: This research is an analytical survey research. The research design used was a cross sectional study. The population and sample of this study were all mothers who had babies aged 0-6 months. The sampling technique used was the Slovin formula while the statistical test used was chi-square. Results: Based on the research results, the statistical test obtained a value of p = 0.014, which means there is a relationship between maternal nutritional knowledge and the provision of Early MP-ASI in the working area of Puskesamas Rahia, Gu District, Central Buton Regency, and from the results of the statistical test, a value of p = 0.001 was obtained, meaning there is a relationship between family income and early MP-ASI provision in the working area of the Rahia Community Health Center, Gu District, Central Buton Regency. Suggestion: It is hoped that mothers at posyandu in Rahia, Kamama Mekar and Wakeakea villages who have babies aged 0-6 months will pay more attention to giving early MP-ASI appropriate to their age, and it is hoped that mothers will tell caregivers to pay attention to giving early MP-ASI.
