Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the Rokan Hilir National Narcotics Agency (BNN) in preventing and controlling drug trafficking in the Rokan Hilir area. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The results of the discussion show that the prevention and control of drug trafficking carried out by the Rokan Hilir National Narcotics Agency is effective. This can be seen from several drug trafficking cases that were successfully uncovered by BNN Rokan Hilir. Several cases that have been uncovered and handled by BNN Rokan Hilir are cases of illicit narcotics trafficking. In 2023, officers confiscated 20.6 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine. For his actions, the suspect is threatened with Article 114 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) 112 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2009, with a maximum penalty of the death penalty. 2019BNN also succeeded in arresting a suspected dealer of 4.1 kg of methamphetamine and 10 thousand ecstasy pills. This proves that the National/City Narcotics Agency is working effectively in carrying out drug control and prevention in the Rokan Hilir area.

Abstract

Kommoditas unggulan yang selama ini belum dikelola dengan baik serta membangun sistem informasi desa guna meningkatkan prokonomian rakyat dalam sektor pemanfaatan sumber alam lidi kelapa sawit guna meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat yang sinerji dengan Pemerintah Desa. Selain itu kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat merupakan suatu bentuk penerapan dedikasi dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, sehingga hal ini merupakan suatu kewajiban yang harus dilaksanakan oleh tenaga akademisi dengan bekerja sama Mahasiswa dalam Pemgabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Sektor pemanfaatan sumber alam lidi kelapa sawit dapat meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat. Sedangkan kegian Pengabdian Masyarakat ini berada di Desa Sosopan, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan.

Abstract

The term "violence" refers to actions that are forceful, ruthless, or cruel, whether physically, psychologically, economically, through threats, or as sexual violence, often based on gender. Sexual violence frequently occurs due to inherent desires and various factors that trigger such behavior. The impact is not only on the direct victims but also on children, who can become victims or perpetrators. Law Number 12 of 2022 on the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence aims to address and prevent sexual violence, particularly against women and children. In Desa Perkebunan Labuhan Haji, a socialization event was held on June 13, 2024, attended by 30 participants, including the Village Head, village officials, neighborhood officials, religious leaders, community leaders, and students. The outcome of this event demonstrated that the community increasingly understands the importance of preventing sexual violence and its legal consequences. Early prevention efforts are crucial to avoid sexual violence and ensure that perpetrators are penalized according to the applicable regulations.
