Abstract

Problem solving is a prerequisite for one's survival. A person's inability to solve problems will have a direct impact on his life, including students who are faced with various problems both at school and outside school. Weak problem solving of children can have a negative impact on the decisions taken in dealing with problems so that problems are increasingly tangled and even become one of the causes of student failure and juvenile delinquency. This study aims to see the effect of giving two different learning models based on the level of concentration of students in solving problems. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a treatment design by level 2x2 which concerns two factors. The population in this study was all grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Bungo which amounted to 254 students. The sampling technique in this study used a simple random sampling technique. Data was obtained using questionnaires with the instruments used were Grid Concentration test and Problem solving inventory. Data were analyzed using two-track ANOVA at significance level α=0.05. The normality test uses the Liliefors test and the Homogeneity Variance test uses the Bartlett test with a significant level of α=0.05. The results of the data analysis showed that: (1) Overall, there are differences in problem-solving abilities between discovery and cooperative learning models (Sig. 0.048 < 0.05) (2) There is an interaction between learning models and concentration in solving problems (Sig. 0.025 < 0.05) (3) In groups that have high concentration, the discovery learning model is more effective than the cooperative learning model (Sig. 0.003 < 0.020) (4) In groups that have low concentration, the discovery learning model does not can differ with the cooperative learning model group (Sig. 0.996 > 0.05).

Abstract

This research aims to see and reveal the relationship between hand eye coordination and nutritional status on children's motor skills. The method used in this research is a quantitative method using an ex-post facto design. The sample in this study consisted of 30 children consisting of 15 boys and 15 girls who were still in kindergarten aged 5-6 years. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results obtained in this study show that there is an influence between eye-hand coordination and object control abilities in kindergarten children and there is an influence of nutritional status on object control abilities of children in kindergarten. From the results of the research, there is an influence between hand word coordination and nutritional status on control objects in children who are still in kindergarten (TK).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop an E-Module for Learning Physical Education Sports and Health for Pencak Silat Material in Junior High School Students to find out the effectiveness of using the e-module in improving students' skills and physical fitness. This research was carried out using a development research design by adopting the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results obtained through this study are as follows. 1) This research produced an e-module learning Pencak Silat based on physical fitness training activities for class VII students consisting of cover, introduction, learning and evaluation. 2). Based on the results of limited field tests by experts, the Pencak Silat learning e-module based on Physical Fitness training activities as teaching material for Pencak Silat material for class VII students was declared very feasible to use as teaching material. 3) The effectiveness of using the pencak silat e-module based on class VII physical fitness activities obtained limited field trial data by students of 86.36% strongly agree

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of speed and balance directly on the front kick. As well as knowing the influence of speed and balance on the front thrust through the explosive power of the leg muscles. This study used the Path Analysis design or Path Analisys. The population is male athletes of Patbanbu Pencak Silat college in Pekanbaru City with samples using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the study from the regression analysis testing of structure 1 and structure 2 showed that there was a direct influence of speed on the explosive power of leg muscles by 26.4%. There is a direct effect of balance on the explosive power of leg muscles by 23%. There is a direct influence of speed on front kick ability of 23.4%. There is a direct influence of balance on front kick ability by 1.4%. There is a direct influence of the explosive power of the leg muscles on the ability of the front kick by 72.4%. Judging from the value of α 0.05, the direct influence of speed and balance on the variable explosive power of leg muscles is all significant because the P value < 0.05. Likewise, the variables of speed, balance and explosive power against the ability of the front kick are also significant because the P value < 0.05. Furthermore, the influence of the speed variable on the ability of the front kick through explosive power was 12.6%. While the effect of balance on the ability of the front kick through explosive power is 18.5%. So it can be concluded that the better the speed, balance and explosive power of the leg muscles, the better the ability of the front kick.
