Abstract

Service composition combines several services to complete more complex tasks and get increased service value. The service user determines the task be completed. Several standards have been presented to support the composition of services, including BPEL and WSCDL. However, existing standards can only be used or operated by IT professionals who understand software design and development well. The number of end-users who do not have specific skills is far greater than that of IT professionals. Therefore, to improve service composition capabilities, end-users must be given the opportunity to interact directly with the service composition system to obtain the new services they need. To create a user-centered service composition, some general needs must be met, namely: making it easier for users to obtain appropriate services, guaranteeing the fulfillment of Quality of Service (QoS), and visualizing composite services that are generated instantly. The resulting services meet external requirements submitted directly by users and pay attention to user preferences as internal (implicit) requirements. This paper presents various studies that have been produced to support the composition of user-centered services and problems that are still open as to research challenges in the future. This study's results are exspected to help service composition platform developers understand the various approaches to developing user-centered service composition.

Abstract

Computer technology has been used to support the learning process at the university. Learning process, generally involved students and teachers in order to learn about materials on subject courses and also evaluate student competencies regularly. Teachers can evaluate student competencies or knowledge by e-assessment. E-assessment is one of the domains of e-learning which involves the use computer in assessment, includes: setting, delivery, marking and reporting of assessments. The Major benefit of the e - assessment system is its flexibility in term of global access and devices used to access. When developing an e-assessment system, we have two focuses on multi-dimensional approach, such as user friendly and student centric nature. Because of its complexity, software architecture need to define so software developer will develop software properly. By designing software architecture, view of the system that includes the system components, the behavior of those components, and the ways the components interact could clearly define. Architecture Description Language (ADL) has been used to describe software, because it provides a concrete syntax and formal framework for characterizing architectures. As the result, the design of e-assessment system architecture can meet the needs of attribute quality. The use of notation to explain ADL is able to provide a complete description than simply explaining ADL is using text. Furthermore, the e-assessment system architecture design is expected to be used as a reference for software development in establishing an e-assessment system.

Abstract

Digital signage (DS) can be used by business actors (MSMEs) to maximize marketing activities in addition to using other digital media such as social media, websites, videos, and SEO. DS is also part of a system that helps manage marketing as a medium that regulates product information owned by members of the MSME community. In the MSME Community of Kampung Digital Sentra Kreasi (Sentra Kreasi) Bandung, which houses various MSME, it was found that until now community members have not used digital signage as their marketing medium. Through the provision of DS services, it is hoped that community members can maximize their marketing. The method of carrying out activities is through socializing the use of digital signage and training on the use of marketing management systems for members and administrators of the Sentra Kreasi. Digital Signage Service Implementation Activities and marketing management applications at the Sentra Kreasi are carried out through Community Service Activities carried out by lecturers and students of the Faculty of Applied Sciences (FIT) and the Faculty of Communication and Business (FKB).

Abstract

In facing the ban on gathering due to the Covid-19 pandemic, MSMEs in the Craft and Fashion sectors in Bandung who are members of the Paguyuban Pengusaha Kecil dan Menengah (PPKM) community need to find alternative ways to market their products. One effective solution is to use an online catalog. Through online catalogs, MSMEs can easily and effectively display their products through online platforms that can be accessed by many people. This allows MSMEs to expand their market and increase product visibility widely. In addition, the use of online catalogs also helps MSMEs save on marketing costs, increase efficiency in managing businesses, and establish connections with potential customers. Thus, the implementation of online catalogs is an important strategy in marketing and business development for MSMEs in Craft and Fashion

Abstract

The Service Computing Framework with Scrum (SCFS) is a framework that combines Services Computing Systems Engineering (SCSE) with the Scrum Framework. This framework was created to produce a system with a good service concept by following the SCSE workflow in an agile manner through the application of Scrum principles. This paper will provide an overview of how to evaluate the SCFS framework using SOA and Agile principles through a case study. The research methodology used in this paper is a Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM). This research results in project evaluations using SCFS with good Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) parameter results. The SCFS framework can also be used in Agile development environments with fairly good parameters of velocity, story points, sprint burn down, release burn up, value delivered, and job satisfaction. In case studies conducted, this framework can help accelerate the release of service systems. The first release on the test only took 34 working days, 18 working days to get the second release, and 21 working days to get the third release. If done as a whole in one cycle, the service system will take approximately 73 working days to be used.

Abstract

Currently, realizing good governance related to data disclosure in government agencies is an initiative as a manifestation of open government data. However, there are still problems with the quality of published data. As a solution, organizations need to establish policies, strategies, and initiatives for data management activities This paper proposes adding data management activities to the platform to enhance the quality of published data. As for the value of the quality of the data tested using the XYZ district budget, there is an increase in the uniqueness quality dimension from valid DQI 98.7203 to 100; the conformity quality dimension has also increased from 94.7368 to 100; the accuracy quality dimension also increased significantly from 0 to 100; integrity quality dimension increased from 66.6667 to 100. As a concern, the validity of the data is by manual checking after deleting data duplication.
