Abstract

The university has become an important place in the cultivation of character for generations in many countries. Many universities in the world also apply a variety of systems in making policies to shape the character of campus communities, including students. This study aims to analyze legal and ethical policies for students in fostering an attitude of nationalism and anti-radicalism. This study also aims to describe the various forms of implementation of student ethics policies that are applied in the Faculty of Law, Semarang State University, Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with direct data collection through observation and interviews. This study bases its analysis on the theory of the operation of Lawrence M Friedman's law. The results of this study indicate that legal and ethical policies for students are interpreted by a variety of different interpretations both between managers and students. Various cases of inequality of perception lead to pros and cons. However, this research proves that the implementation of legal ethics and student character policies have been regulated in various rules, both at the national level (ministerial regulation), university level (rector regulation), and faculty level (dean regulation) all of which emphasize on forming attitudes nationalism and anti-radicalism.

Abstract

Batik sebagai salahsatu warisan budaya yang dimiliki Indonesia. Pada tahun 2009 UNESCO memasukkan batik Indonesia ke dalam Daftar Representatif sebagai Budaya Tak-benda Warisan Manusia (Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) dalam Sidang ke-4 Komite Antar-Pemerintah (Fourth Session of the Intergovernmental Committee) tentang Warisan Budaya Tak-benda di Abu Dhabi. Hal ini mendorong Pemerintah Indonesia untuk menggiatkan batik di lingkungan masyarakat. Salah satunya adalah Kabupaten Grobogan. Banyaknya pelaku usaha di bidang batik (pengrajin batik) tentunya membutuhkan pengembangan usaha untuk keberlangsungan hidup usahanya. Pengembangan usaha ini terkait dengan perbuatan hukum dengan pihak lain dimana terkadang terdapat perjanjian diantara keduanya. Pengrajin batik sendiri lebih memfokuskan pada produksi bukan pada perjanjian. Masih minimnya pengetahuan tentang perjanjian menyebabkan kurangnya pemahaman akan akibat dari perjanjian tersebut. Alasan inilah yang mendorong pengabdi untuk mengenalkan perjanjian secara sederhana kepada pengrajin agar mereka tidak gagap atas perjanjian yang melibatkan mereka. Pengabdian dilakukan dengan dua tahapan. Pertama, adalah mendapatkan informasi selengkap-lengkapnya terkait dengan perjanjian yang pernah mereka buat dan kedua adalah dengan memberikan dasar-dasar sederhana dalam penyusunan perjanjian.

Abstract

Character education is an important element in the effort to prepare superior Indonesian human resources, it is of particular concern to be applied especially among students, there is a need for character education because the attitudes and behavior of the people and people of Indonesia now tend to ignore the noble values ​​of Pancasila which are highly respected and should be rooted in everyday attitudes and behaviors, values ​​such as honesty, politeness, togetherness and religious, gradually eroded by foreign cultures that tend to be hedonistic, materialistic, and individualistic, so that the noble character values ​​are ignored in the future if students and young people are not equipped with character education. Law students have their own challenges, especially in the era of globalization. This paper analyzes and illustrates the character strengthening program for law student activists in Semarang State University through several programs, namely public speaking, strengthening student idealism, strengthening advocacy capacitation and human rights assistance and self-motivation. This research is a field research with the object of research as activists of law students who are members of student organizations. This research confirms that the programs for strengthening the character of students experience several obstacles, one of which is the model used and a relatively short time. However, character education for student activists helps students to survive in real life as part of community members.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the rights of patient in medical services case on Batara Siang Hospital. This study was triggered by various problems regarding the privacy rights of patients in health services. Informed consent is an explanation by the doctor related to the condition of the patient's illness and the medical action that the doctor will take to cure the patient and then from the explanation explained by the doctor get the consent of the patient or the patient's family. Before giving emergency measures, the Batara Siang Hospital also applies an informed concentration Republic of Indonesia Health Minister Regulation Number 585/MEN.KES/PER/X/1989. This study revealed that Batara Siang Hospital always applies Informed Consent before taking medical or medical measures, but for emergency cases it is excluded because it concerns the lives of patients.

Abstract

This study is intended to analyze and describe the urgency of campus life ethics policy at the Faculty of Law and how ethical policy constraints campus life at the Faculty of Law. The study also aims to find obstacles in implementing the Campus Life Ethics Policy at the Faculty of Law. The concepts and theories in this study are the basic concepts of ethics and policy theory, policy implementation, legislative hierarchy, ethics, and legal system theory according to Lawrence Friedman. This type of research is a sociological juridical study with a qualitative research approach. Sources of research data come from primary data (interviews) and secondary data (literature studies and documentation). The data collection technique of this study used observation, interviews, and study of documents. This study found and revealed that there are two factors (internal and external) affected to student behaviors. Internal factors include character of students themselves, student habits, apathetic cultural factors inherent in students, and external factors include incomplete facilities, lack of in-depth socialization, lack of supervision and strict enforcement as well as interference from outside UNNES. The study concluded that the Campus Life Ethics at the Faculty of Law UNNES is able to be realized with in-depth socialization of the Regulations Chancellor Number 44 of 2018 is accompanied by supervision and strict enforcement of sanctions.

Abstract

The Legal Awareness Family (Keluarga Sadar Hukum, Kadarkum) is one of the programs to increase public awareness of the dangers of drug abuse. One form of this program besides socialization and education, also intensive assistance to every family, so that the Indonesian -free Indonesian program can be achieved through a program that starts from the smallest environment. In Central Java, victims of drug abuse and drugs in Central Java in 2017 reached more than 523 thousand people. This paper discusses how Kadarkum can run optimally as a prevention in drug abuse.

Abstract
