Abstract

This study aims to see whether there are differences in sales made by offline/conventional and online MSMEs to discover alternative media transactions to survive and increase sales during the COVID-19 period. This research is an exploratory study on MSMEs players who sell Rujak Sentir at Simpang Jodoh, Percut Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang District, Indonesia. The data source in this research is primary data by collecting data using a questionnaire on 50 samples of Rujak Sentir MSMEs merchants. Data were analyzed using statistical descriptive analysis of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The final analysis of data shows that the apply of online applications can be an alternative for MSMEs in maintaining and improving performance throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The usage of this research practice is to give input to related parties regarding other options that can be utilized by enterprises throughout the Coronavirus widespread so that in the future, MSMEs are ready to face uncertainties that arise due to external factors. In addition to this, this research will be a recommendation regarding technical guidance that can be carried out by the local government in fostering MSMEs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine, calculate and analyze the economic potential contained in Rujak MSMEs in Simpang Jodoh Kab. Deli Serdang, to calculate the potential tax imposed on the gross turnover of MSMEs. This MSMEs is a group of culinary traders in the Tembung area, Percut Sei Tuan District. Referring to the potential of rujak MSMEs, if managed properly, it will increase local government revenue from the tax and retribution sector. This type of research is quantitative. The sampling technique uses saturated samples. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used was descriptive statistics. The results of the study found that there was a potential tax on MSMEs Rujak. The amount of tax potential owned by MSMEs with the lowest conventional sales for conventional sales is Rp. 42,205,800 while the highest potential tax is Rp. 45,938,000 per year. The amount of tax potential that MSMEs have when making sales using social media and collaborating with go-food or grab-food applications increases to Rp. 56,057,040 for the lowest sales and 67,551,120 for the highest condition. The increase in tax potential is in the range of 132.82% to 147.05% when the Rujak MSMEs use media and online applications in marketing their products.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of online higher education internal quality audits during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is a qualitative research using case studies. Collecting data by conducting observations and in-depth studies on the implementation of the 2021 Internal Quality Audit at Politeknik Negeri Medan. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results of the study found that, during the COVID-19 pandemic, internal quality audits could be carried out using a combination of online and offline Medan State Polytechnic, utilizing the Google Drive facility for document audits and face-to-face (offline) for field audits

Abstract

SMS from these various considerations is feasible to use. The level of ownership of cellular phones and affordable costs are considerations that support the adoption of this technology to be widely applied for the application of information system development in the present and in the future.Distance and long time are no longer a problem that can hinder obtaining information about the exam schedule, the SMS received does not come directly from the sender, but comes from the SMS Center. So, before the SMS reaches the recipient, the SMS actually enters the SMS Center first,The PDU contains not only the message, but also a lot of information about the sender. Starting from the sender's number, the sender's SMSC number, the validity time of the SMS, and so on. Everything is built in the form of hexadecimal numbers. SMS-based student exam scheduling using AT Command GSM which is used as a command in communication with the serial port. Scheduling with the AT command technique is very effective as information for students.

Abstract

Flood disaster is a natural phenomenon caused by the natural process and uncontrolled human activities in exploiting nature. The natural process depends on rainfall conditions, groundwater systems (geohydrology), geological structure, rock types, geomorphology, and topography. Meanwhile, human activities mean behaviors in exploiting nature for human welfare, that tend to damage the environment, particularly at a watershed, with high intensity, less control, and oversteps of the spatial planning rules. It has been known that flood disaster brings a big loss, for example, the physical loss is estimated more than a billion rupiah and it has not included tangible losses (or invaluable losses), such as plague, the time loss of social activity, and so forth. It is expected to minimize the loss by flood anticipation from government and society who are prone to getting the flood impact, for example, the settlement at the watershed. This research aims to design and make an infographic of flood anticipation simulation based on animation and multimedia for giving education to the society who are often getting the flood impact, like the settlement at the watershed, so that the physical and intangible losses can be minimized

Abstract

Yayasan Amal dan Sosial Panti Asuhan Mamiyai Al Ittihadiyah merupakan sebuah yayasan dibawah Dinas Sosial Sumatera Utara yang didirikan pada tanggal 19 Mei 1943 dengan akte notaris No. 62 Tgl. 24-08-1983 & No. 61 Tgl. 21-04-1988 yang pendanaannya berasal dari subsidi dinas sosial, yayasan dharmais, pkps bbm dan masyarakat setempat dan sedang memberikan santunan kepada 103 orang santri berupa santunan sekolah SD, SMP/MTs dan SMA/ Madr. Aliyah yang terletak di lingkungan Yayasan Amal dan Sosial Panti Asuhan Mamiyai Al Ittihadiyah ini. Sistem pembelajaran yang ada saat ini masih mengikuti metode lama yaitu peserta didik dan pendidik hanya berinteraksi atau tatap muka di ruang kelas dan seadanya, hal ini dilakukan dikarenakan keterbatasan dana yang diterima dari Yayasan Amal dan Sosial Panti Asuhan Mamiyai Al Ittihadiyah sehingga keterbatasan dana yang diterima ini mengakibatkan seluruh anak didik Yayasan Amal dan Sosial Panti Asuhan Mamiyai Al Ittihadiyah tidak pernah mengenal pendidikan Teknologi Informasi khususnya Multimedia dan Internet. Keterampilan yang telah diberikan Yayasan Amal dan Sosial Panti Asuhan Mamiyai Al Ittihadiyah kepada anak panti asuhan untuk pembekalan diri mereka adalah keterampilan pembuatan kaligrafi. Akan tetapi Keterampilan Kaligrafi belum dipromosikan secara optimal, karena kurangnya pengetahuan para pendidik dan anak asuhan tentang Teknologi Informasi Multimedia dan Internet. Melihat dari permasalah diatas maka kami dari Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat berkeinginan untuk melakukan Pelatihan Penggunaan Multimedia dan Internet Bagi Pendidik dan Anak Panti Asuhan Mamiyai Al Ittihadiyah berupa pembuatan peresentasi mengajar yang kreatif dan inofatif untuk para pendidik agar minat belajar anak asuh semakin meningkat, membuat, menggunakan dan mengelola suatu animasi, mengedit gambar dan photo serta mengajarkan tentang membuat web, blog sebagai upaya tempat sarana penjualan keterampilan kaligrafi yang telah mereka dapatkan dari Yayasan Amal dan Sosial Panti Asuhan Mamiyai Al Ittihadiyah.

Abstract

The design of financial applications in this Arya stall is based on huge business opportunities in the stall, therefore this stall wants to expand its business and requires financial applications that can support this business activity. Financial applications in the Aryan stalls made include master data, expenditure transactions, sales transactions, and financial reports that are expected to approach accounting rules such as (income statement, owner's equity statement and balance sheet report), while the process of making this application uses the Visual Study programming language 2010 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 as its database and design using Data Flow Diagrams (DFD). The results of this study produce applications that can provide report information that is useful for decision makers for the owner of the stall and this financial application can facilitate the processing of data such as sales and expenditure transactions.

Abstract

Jurnal ini membahas penerapan jaringan saraf tiruan untuk memampatkan data, Ide dasar metode ini dilatar belakangi oleh masalah pada kecepatan transfer dan ukuran data pada jalur komunikasi, oleh karena itu jaringa saraf tiruan digunakan untuk mengurangi ukuran data sehingga jika data ditransmisikan melalui jaringan komputer atau Internet akan lebih cepat. Data yang diuji berupa pesan teks dan hasil akhir dari penilitian ini ternyata pesan teks yang telah dimampatkan juga dapat menjadi sebuah pesan yang tersandikan walaupun masih menggunakan proses yang sangat sederhana.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kualitas website perguruan tinggi Politeknik Negeri Medan terhadap tingkat kepuasan pengguna.Website tidak hanya dapat memfasilitasi kegiatan pendidikan secara formal namun juga komunikasi informal dalam kegiatan pendidikan,Kriteria website berdasarkan desain yang efektif tersebut adalah Site Desain, Site functionality, Customer Value.Suatu website yang baik juga memiliki kelayakan sebagai media yang bermanfaat maka perlu untuk mengukur kualitas website untuk perbaikan dan peningkatan kualitas website secara berkala. Penentuan atribut prioritas perbaikan perlu dilakukan agar upaya institusi menjadi optimal dalam peningkatan kualitas websitenya.Untuk itu dilakukan evaluasi pengukuran terhadap persepsi tingkat kepuasan dan kepentingan yang didasarkan pada dimensi WebQual 4.0 menggunakan alat ukur kuesioner terhadap mahasiswa sebagai pengguna internal.Populasi dan sample secara random pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa jurusan teknik komputer dan informatika sebanyak 218 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan kuesioner berbasis WebQual 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan umum secara pengguna website cenderung menyetujui kualitas website akan tetapi perlu beberapa atribut diperbaiki yaitu ketepatan waktu informasi, informasi yang cepat dan sarana ruang diskusi atau komunikasi.

Abstract

The graduate profile is the role of the graduate of the study program or field of expertise / field of work planned after completing education from the study program. The determination of the profile of study program graduates is generally carried out based on the results of the assessment of stakeholder needs. Based on data from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, the IT study program is one of the most majors or study programs in Indonesian universities and the highest number of enthusiasts choose this study program each year. Each year, graduates of IT study programs have a large number of graduates, both vocational and non-vocational colleges. The number of IT graduates is large but they have low graduate competencies, even they do not have competencies in the IT field so that their work is not in accordance with the graduate profile that has been designed. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research to classify the profile of graduates who have worked based on tracer study data using the Naïve Bayes Classifier method. This study uses attributes, namely study program, value criteria, gender and field of work and the labels used are status (Linear and Non-Linear). The results of the study on the classification of the profile of graduates using the Naïve Bayes Classifier method show that alumni work not according to the profile of graduated by 73% and according to the profile of graduates by 23%, with a data accuracy rate of 87% and are included in the good classification category.
