Abstract

Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) melalui departemen Marketing, Communication, and Admission (MCA) telah menyediakan fasilitas pengujian minat bagi siswa-siswi Sekolah Menengah Atas. Namun sayangnya, proses pengujian masih dilakukan secara manual. Dengan banyaknya jumlah calon mahasiswa yang mendaftar di UPH dan tersebar di berbagai daerah, pemberian fasilitas pengujian minat ini masih memiliki beberapa hambatan. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi penunjang uji pemilihan program studi dengan mengaplikasikan metodologi Rapid Application Development yang dikembangkan menggunakan framework CodeIgniter MVC, berbasis PHP. Pemodelan sistem yang digunakan adalah UML versi 2.5. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi penunjang uji pemilihan program studi berlandaskan teori psikologi RIASEC yang dapat memfasilitasi calon pendaftar UPH untuk membantu memilih program studi yang akan diambil. Selain itu, aplikasi ini juga dapat memberikan fasilitas penyediaan laporan bagi departemen MCA UPH terkait pemberian fasilitas uji pemilihan program studi.Kata kunci: Sistem informasi, Interest Testing, RIASEC, MVC, CodeIgniter.

Abstract

This research is a part of the implementation of e-procurement in CV. W3 Indonesia. The procurement was done conventionally using paper forms which were filled and submitted to the supervisor to get approval. After that, the purchasing department would purchase the items ordered. The design and implementation of this e-procurement resulted a system that is able to improve efficiency procurement processes time, and reduce operational costs by eliminating paper that was originally used as a medium for communication and verification.

Abstract

PT. Palugada Indonesia still records their transactions and inventory of goods in traditional ways, which could result in some errors caused primarily by human interventions. The aim of this research is to assist PT. Palugada Indonesia to control their inventory through an information system. Specifically, a web-based application that can process product data, supplier data, customer data, user data and transaction data was purposefully developed in this study. In addition, the developed application has notification and sales forecast features. These features are expected to further assist PT. Palugada Indonesia to control their inventory optimally. Moreover, the application also has some other useful features, for instance in displaying more informative data, by bringing up sales forecasts and notifications. The developed application was modeled using UML diagram 2.0 and developed using HTML, PHP, and MySQL database. Index Terms—inventory; web-based application; saels forecast; PT. Palugada Indonesia

Abstract

Counting the number of visitors (people counter) is an activity carried out in many retail stores. This information, although very simple and basic, can be used as one of the main bases for making decisions. In the past, PT Matahari Department Store, Tbk (MDS) has calculated the number of visitors manually with an accuracy of around 90%. The purpose of this research is to design an automated people counter system using the existing CCTV video networks in MDS stores. The research methodology used is data collection methods in the form of literature studies and interviews, and systems development methods in the form of prototyping. The system uses Tensorflow to recognize visitors who enter and leave the store. This system is a prototype and is used as a proof of concept for MDS to make decisions regarding the application of appropriate technology in carrying out the people counter process along with the things that need to be prepared if this system is to be implemented thoroughly in all MDS stores in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pengenalan dasar algoritma pemograman akan jauh lebih baik jika dilakukan sejak dini, misalnya dimulai semenjak sekolah dasar. Namun, bagi kebanyakan orang, algoritma dan pemrograman dianggap sebagai pelajaran yang sulit dan membosankan, sehingga diperlukan suatu metode khusus yang membuat anak-anak menjadi tertarik. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan aplikasi Thunkable, di mana anak-anak dapat mempelajari dasar algoritma pemrograman secara visual, interaktif, dan kolaboratif. Meskipun pengenalan algoritma pemrograman penting dan sudah ada metode pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan menggunakan Thunkable, tidak banyak sekolah yang paham mengenai hal tersebut. artikel ini bertujuan untuk melaporkan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat terkait pengenalan dan pelatihan dasar algoritma pemrograman menggunakan Thunkable bagi siswa SD St. Theresia Jakarta. Pelatihan ini dilakukan secara daring melalui Zoom meeting. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini, para peserta diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir secara kreatif, logis, dan sistematis melalui pelatihan algoritma pemrograman

Abstract

The current competitions between businesses is getting more intense, one of those competitions is in restaurant business. 3 Wise Monkeys is a restaurant that is trying to improve its customer service. One of the main problems is the unavailability of tables when they come to the restaurant, whcih can affects customer’s judgement. This research aims to help the customer and restaurant owner by designing an online reservation system to book the table and food. The benefit of the system for the customer is that they can choose their table and the menu even before they arrive to the restaurant. Furthermore, there is doorprize feature for the customers who make online reservatoin, making them want to come back in the future and use the online system. The benefit for the restaurant owner is the system can produce informations regarding the number of members, what is the favorite menus, and what time is the busiest hour for the restaurant

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi memberikan dampak positif  bagi Usaha Kecil Mikro dan Menengah (UMKM). Toko Sinar Terang adalah UMKM yang berlokasi di Kota Tangerang Selatan yang menjual perabot rumah tangga. Pada sistem saat ini, ditemukan beberapa kendala di antaranya, kesalahan pencatatan keuangan, transaksi jual beli, persediaan produk, dan inkonsistensi data antar kedua cabang Toko. Guna mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, sebuah sistem informasi toko diperlukan. Selain itu, program loyalitas pelanggan juga dibutuhkan untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan relasi yang  baik  dengan pelanggan. Melalui kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini, sistem informasi untuk Toko Sinar Terang dikembangkan dengan metodologi RAD melalui metode prototyping. Pemodelan yang digunakan adalah UML yang mencakup class diagram, use case, dan activity diagram. Pengembangan sistem informasi menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan framework CodeIgniter 4 dan PostgreSQL sebagai DBMS-nya. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM ini berupa sistem informasi untuk Toko Sinar Terang yang fungsional dan memiliki beragam fitur, seperti: persediaan, penjualan, keuangan, dan program loyalitas pelanggan yang dapat menampilkan informasi statistik untuk memberikan laporan persediaan yang terintegrasi. Sebelum sistem informasi diuji coba dan diserahkan, pelatihan penggunaan sistem informasi juga telah dilakukan kepada karyawan dan pemilik Toko.
