Abstract

Background: Improving quality and efficiency in hospital services can be done by using Clinical Pathway (CP). CP can decrease the hospital length of stay and cost. In indonsia, the increasing number of Caesarean Section (SC) affects to the Length of Stay (LOS) in hospital. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of clinical pathway in caesaren section to length of stay in the hospital. Methods: This study was a systematic review used PRISMA guidelines. Data obtained from Electronic journal databases Pubmed and ProQuest that published between 2014 until 2019 and used English language. By using keywords such as clinical pathway, childbirth labor, and length of stay to find the relevant journal. Results: The search found out 4,937, studies from 2 journal databases. The articles that not suitable with the criteria inclusion must be exclude. Totally, 6 studies were analyzed in this study. 1 study explained the affect of increasing length of stay in the National Health Insurance, 2 studies mentioned that CP was not affected to the length of stay in hospital and 3 studies mentioned that CP was reduced the length of stay in hospital. Conclusion: Clinical pathway in Caesarean section can reduced the length of stay in hospital. The hospital should implement the clinical pathway in caesarean section to increase the quality of hospital service and reduce the cost.

Abstract

The Primary Health Facility (FKTP) in the era of National Health Insurance (JKN) must behave effective and efficiently in serving patients. Referring patients as indicated is an effort to achieve this. The research shows that optimizing primary services has the potential to save on health costs from the Social Security Agency of Health (BPJS) source of 49.1 billion per year. BPJS data also shows the high number of referrals for non- specialist cases, namely 714 thousand cases during 2014-2017. This study aims to find out the factors that are related to the high number of non-specialist cases referral by FKTP in the JKN era. The PRISMA protocol (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analyses) is used to select articles in this study. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the high number of non-specialist case referrals by Higher Level Health Facilities (FKTPs) in the JKN era. It applied The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) protocol to select articles for this study. The article search was conducted on Google Scholar from 2 – 6 December 2019, and five eligible articles were found in this study. The findings of this review study show that factors related to non-specialty referral cases include health workers, supporting facilities, administration and regulation, service management, FKTP location and distance to FKTL, and disease complications. Comprehensive handling and collaboration of various parties and relevant stakeholders are needed to reduce the referral rate for non-specialist cases.

Abstract

Aesthetic Services is growing in many big cities and developing cities in Indonesia. It is due to the tendency of people who want to improve their physical performance, in the era of national health insurance, private hospitals must also improve and add services to clients while maintaining good service and adding new services which can be another source of income for hospital. Services provided with mottto from Bhakti Rahayu Hospital Denpasar "we care and we serve" Bhakti Rahayu Hospital Denpasar wants to be able to provide beauty and skin care services to the community at large with low prices and remain competitive so marketing becomes an important thing in order to develop and continue to grow. This study shows the importance of marketing strategies in the growth of aesthetic services. This study uses a qualitative descriptive study with in-depth interviews with stakeholders related to the development of aesthetic services at Bhakti Rahayu Hospital in Denpasar.

Abstract

Changes in the pattern of diseases to degenerative diseases and chronic diseases are growing lately and many hospitals have not yet developed chronic disease services. Bhakti Rahayu General Hospital has one of them Home Care (HC) services that has been running but has not developed well due to the lack of marketing to patients with categories and diagnoses of diseases that can be treated with HC, so it is necessary to develop and plan strategies in marketing home care services as one of the hospital's earnings. This study was conducted using a pattern of observation and participation; in-depth interviews with home care officers, patients and directors. Based on the results of the study, information was obtained that the opportunities and potential for developing HC with a pattern of determining the right strategy can lead to good direction as one of the income posts for the hospital by prioritizing patient satisfaction so that the patient's desire to pay can occur and the patient feels comfortable with the service provided. given an ongoing quality of service and improved skills and product improvements offered and the appropriate price can be a pretty good bargaining value. So, it can be concluded that the prospect of developing HC services in Bhakti Rahayu General Hospital is quite large. Alternative marketing strategies for visiting and hospitalized patients and offering through social media can be a strong enough point in marketing the products offered.
