Abstract

This research is based on the understanding of mathematical concepts using cooperative model of the power of two type based on problem based learning (pbl) better than conventional learning. This research uses quantitative approach with experiment method. The population in this study is the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Merangin which amounted to 90 people consisting of 3 classes. Sampling technique using simple random sampling technique. The selected sample is class IX A as experiment class and class IX C as control class. Technique of data collecting through comprehension test of mathematical concept in the form of essay matter with the number of five items on the subject of kesebangunan. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is t-test, with its calculation assisted by SPSS program. From the analysis of the final test data in the experimental class using the cooperative learning model of the power of two type based on problem based learning, it is obtained on average 81.77 while the control class using conventional learning obtained an average of 67.77. Hypothesis test results obtained t count> ttable or 5.634> 1.671 then H1 accepted and H0 rejected. The conclusion of this research is the understanding of mathematical concepts using cooperative model of the power of two type based on problem based learning better than conventional learning on the material kesebangunan class students IX SMP Negeri 11 Merangin lesson year 2017/2018. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce learning devices and LKS based on a realistic, valid and effective approach to realistic mathematics education. This learning tool is expected to be able to improve student learning activities and outcomes. This type of research is development research using a 4-D model consisting of 4 stages, namely 1) defining, 2) designing (design), 3) developing, and 4) disseminating (disseminate). The contextual mathematics learning tools developed are Student Worksheets (LKS) and Learning Implementation Plans (RPP). Validation is done by experts in mathematics education, basic education and language. The practicality of learning devices is investigated by observing the implementation of learning, filling the practical questionnaire by students, and conducting interviews with students and teachers. To see its effectiveness is done by observing the activities and student learning outcomes. The collected data was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the learning tools of the realistic mathematics education approach (PMR) produced were valid in terms of their constructs and contents for Class VII of Merangin 14 Middle School. Contextual mathematics learning tools can be said to be practical in terms of the implementation of learning and effective on the activities and learning outcomes of students for class VII. Abstract

The purpose of this research to develop multimedia learning interactive used Adobe Flash CS3 Professional of learning math class VII SMP/MTs valid, practical, and effective. This research was used research and development method by APPED model. Multimedia learning interactive that validity by five people experts. The validity was seen from the sheets validation, practility from the sheets inquiries response students and interviews students, while effectiveness from the result of lear and activities learn students. The results of this research showing the scores an average of the validation by experts math 4,22 with the category very valid, the indonesian 3,88 with the category very valid, the media 4,78 with the category very valid, and validation teacher math 4,80 with the category very valid. The validation overall 4,58 with the category very valid. Acquisition presentase response students of 82,27% with the category of practical. Presentase the results of learning classical of 77,3% with the category of effective and average presentase students activities of 68,64% with the category of active. Based on the results of research and development, multimedia learning interactive has valid, practical, and effective

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the significant relationship between motivation and study habits on understanding the mathematical concepts STKIP YPM Bangko mathematics education college students. This type of research is a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The study population was all students in the fifth semester of mathematics education college students STKIP YPM Bangko in the academic year 2020/2021, totaling 16 people. Sampling using saturated sampling technique. The instrument used was a test of understanding mathematical concepts in the algebraic structure course in the form of essays and questionnaires using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique uses the normality test and linearity test, while for the hypothesis test using the Pearson product moment correlation formula, and the multiple correlation formula using the SPSS 20 program. The results of data analysis in the sample class obtained a correlation coefficient of motivation and learning habits variables on understanding mathematical concepts with value sig.F change = 0.122 because the sig.F change value> 0.05 or 0.122> 0.05 means that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. This means that there is no significant relationship between motivation and study habits on understanding the mathematical concepts STKIP YPM Bangko mathematics education college students.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and describe the significant effect of interest in learning on understanding mathematical concepts in the number theory course of STKIP YPM Bangko mathematics education college students. This type of research is a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The population of the study was the first semester college students of the 2018/2019 academic year mathematics education totaling 18 people. Sampling uses a saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique is a test of understanding mathematical concepts in number theory courses in the form of essay questions and learning interest questionnaires using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique uses the normality test and linearity test, while the hypothesis test uses the Pearson product moment correlation formula and the significance test using the t-test formula. The results of the analysis of sample class data obtained a correlation coefficient with a sig value = 0.952. While the contribution of the relationship between the variables of interest in learning and understanding of mathematical concepts are grouped very high at 90.630% and hypothesis testing obtained tcount = 12.404 at the significance level α = 0.05 with tcount > ttabel or 12.404 > 1.746 then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that there is a significant influence between interestin learning towards understanding mathematical concepts in the number theory course of STKIP YPM Bangko mathematics education college students. Abstract

This study aims to find out and describe the mathematical critical thinking abilities of students taught using the Aptitude learning model. Treatment Interaction is better than using conventional learning in class VIII students of SMP N 15 Sarolangun in the 2015/2016 school year. This study uses a quantitative approach to the experimental method with the posttest Only control group design research design. The population used in this study were students of class VIII A totaling 25 students, class VIII B which amounted to 25 students and class VIII C which amounted to 24 students, where this study was in Sarolangun Middle School 15 15 2015/2016 academic year. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques in the study used a descriptive test of mathematical critical thinking skills which amounted to 5 items. Data analysis in hypothesis testing using t-test to see where this hypothesis reads hypothesis ift> ttable so Ha is received and H0 is rejected with significance level of 0.05. From the analysis of the latest data in the experimental class obtained an average value of 69.12 while the control class obtained an average of 59.16. Then analyzed using the t-test, the results of hypothesis testing obtained tcount = 2,341 and ttable 1,677. Because tcount > ttable then H0 isrejected and Ha is accepted. So that it can describe the students' critical thinking skills mathematically taught with Aptitude learning model Treatment Interaction is better than those taught with conventional learning class VIII students of SMP Negeri 15 Sarolangun in 2015 2016 Keywords: Aptitude Treatment Interaction, Mathematical Critical Thinking.

Abstract

Misalkan diberikan graf G dan H sebarang. Notasi F → (G, H) berarti bahwa pada sebarang pewarnaan 2-warna, merah atau biru, terhadap semua sisi graf F mengakibatkan F memuat subgraf merah yang isomorfik dengan G atau subgraf biru yang isomorfik dengan H. Graf F adalah graf Ramsey (G, H)-minimal jika F → (G, H) dan F ∗ 9 (G, H) untuk sebarang subgraf sejati F ∗ ⊂ F. Selanjutnya R(G, H) menyatakan kelas yang memuat semua graf Ramsey (G, H)-minimal. Pada tulisan ini diberikan beberapa syarat perlu untuk keanggotaan R(3K2, C3) serta beberapa graf yang menjadi anggota R(3K2, C3).Kata Kunci: Graf Ramsey minimal, 3K2, siklus, pewarnaan-(G, H)
