Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk mengetahui alat permainan edukatif scrabble yang layak terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan anak kelompok B, dan (2) untuk mengetahui keefektifan alat permainan edukatif scrabble terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan anak kelompok B. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Borg & Gall. Desain pengembangan tersebut disimpulkan menjadi tiga langkah umum, yang meliputi: (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) proses pengembangan, dan (3) uji coba produk. Subjek penelitian adalah anak kelompok B TK ABA Teros. Pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman wawancara, lembar validasi, angket penilaian guru, dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan paired sample t-test dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan efektif. Terdapat perbedaan hasil akhir antara hasil sebelum diberi perlakuan dengan sesudah diberi perlakuan menggunakan alat permainan edukatif scrabbel dengan p < 0,05 kemudian terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dengan p = 0,000

Abstract

This study aims to see how the application of STEAM-based learning in the learning process. Knowing the description of the process of implementing STEAM-based learning. This research method uses descriptive research in the form of a survey method. This research uses data collection techniques through non-test techniques conducted at RA Perwanida Praya. The results of the study were analyzed through the Editing, Coding, and Scoring stages, which describe STEAM-based learning activities. The simple result is that the application of STEAM has appeared in the learning activities that have been applied but the teacher still does not fully understand STEAM learning related to its elements and aspects.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were (i) to describe the level of character development needs of early childhood through parenting model learning in RA Barokatus Saulatiyah. (ii) Knowing the early childhood character development prototype through parenting model learning in RA Barokatus Saulatiyah. (iii) Knowing the analysis of the level of validity and practicality of early childhood character development through parenting model learning in RA Barokatus Saulatiyah. This type of research is a type of research and development (research and development). The research subjects were teachers and parents. The data analysis technique used is to analyze the data in a descriptive and practical way. The results showed that (i) The level of need for Early Childhood Character Development through Parenting Model Learning in RA Barokatus Saulatiyah can be illustrated that there is still a lack of understanding from educators, especially teachers and parents about the importance of shaping early childhood character, this shows that teachers in the group are still found. B complained that 2 parents (out of 15 children in group B) often asked for homework in the form of reading, writing, arithmetic (calistung). Kindergarten teachers who already understand the stages of child development end up in a dilemma because theoretically it is known that learning to read for early childhood cannot be forced; (ii) An overview of the design form of Early Childhood Character Development through Parenting Model Learning consists of two components, namely the model philosophy component and the model implementation component. The components of the model philosophy include rationality, goals, teacher roles and system support. Meanwhile, the operational components of the model are described in detail in all types of activities with different themes. All activities are packed with the aim of developing early childhood character; (iii) The level of content validity and practicality of Early Childhood Character Development through Parenting Model Learning at RA Barokatus Saulatiyah, indicates that the validator's assessment of all the tools that have been presented can be declared valid for use and development of Early Childhood Character Development through Parenting Model Learning meets practical aspects so that it is suitable for use.

Abstract

This study were aimed: (1) to know the effect of using scramble method in basic reading skill of the kindergarden students group B. (2) to know the effectiveness of the scramble method in basic reading skill of the kindergarden students group B. The type of research that used was quasi experimental study, with Pre-Test Post-Test Control Group Design. The population of this study were all students of group B TK Pertiwi Selong and the sample were student of groups B1 and B2. The technique of data collection were using interview, validation of research instrument and observation. The data analysis in this study was used an independent sample t test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that there were the differences in the final results after being given treatment between the results of the control class and the experimental class with a percentage of 70.83% in the experimental class and 56.49% in the control class. The t-test results showed p <0.05, namely p = 0.024, so it can be concluded that the scramble method is effective to use in the beginning of reading skills of group B children.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Congklak adaptation game method on the ability to recognize numbers in group A children at TK AL-IKHLAS Montong Agung. This research is quasi-experimental research, with a pre-test and post-test control group design. The populations of this study were all children in group A of TK AL-IKHLAS Montong Agung and the samples were groups A1 and A2 as control and experimental classes. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, instrument validation and observation, while the data analysis technique in this study used the T-test using the SPSS 16.0 application. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the congklak adaptation method has an influence on children's ability to recognize numbers in group A in the experimental and control groups, after being given treatment with a percentage of 76.7%, while the control group with 58.3%. The results of the T-test showed 0.000 <0.05 so it can be concluded that the congklak adaptation method has an influence on the children's ability to recognize numbers in group A.

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the implementation of picture word cards media by teachers at RA Al-Aufiya NW to children of B group. The method of this research was used descriptive research in the form of survey method. This research used data collected technique through non test at RA Al-Aufiya NW using interview, questionnaire, and observation method. The result of this research was analyzed with the steps of Editing, Coding, and Scoring, that describe a picture word cards media in learning activities. The result of this research showed that a picture word cards media is one of the media used by teachers to improve the aspect of children’s language especially the basic skill of reading at Children of B group. However, the used of this media is very rare, because the teachers use media writing and journal more often. A picture word cards can improve the students’ enthusiasm for learning.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1. Identify what learning media are used in developing the language of children aged 4-5 years, 2. To identify what learning media are dominantly used in developing the language of children aged 4-5 years, 3. To identify media What kinds of learning are effectively used in developing the language of children aged 4-5 years. The type of research used was survey research. Methods and data collection in the study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The sample in this study was 20% of the 26 PAUD in Sekarbela District, so that the research sample was obtained as many as 5 PAUD in Sekarbela District. The results of the research and data analysis showed that the learning media used in developing the language of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Sekarbela District were 29 learning media or as many as 82.9% of 35 learning media which were included in 4 indicator items, and learning media which are dominantly used in developing the language of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Sekarbela as many as 5 learning media or as much as 14.2% of 35 learning media which are included in 3 indicator items, as well as effective learning media used in developing children's language. 4-5 years in PAUD Sekarbela District as many as 4 learning media or 11.4% of the 35 learning media which are included in 2 indicator items.

Abstract

Learning in Early Childhood Education institutions is learning that applies a learning system through play. All forms of learning in early childhood are mostly done through a game. This is done because this method is more suitable for children who tend to prefer to play. In addition to fun learning, the use of Educational Game Tools (APE) is also a tool that can help the learning process be more enjoyable, because in essence, early childhood learns from real objects. This study aims to improve children's cognitive abilities through recycled material educational tools. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in group B of Bina Muda Cendekia Kindergarten with 22 children as research subjects. Classroom Action Research (CAR) was carried out in 2 cycles. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and documentation techniques. The results of the study showed that the recycled material educational game tool could improve the cognitive abilities of the children in group B TK Bina Muda Cendekia. In the pre-action stage, the average percentage of achievement for new children reached 45.45%, in the implementation of Cycle I, the percentage achieved was 64.58 and in Cycle II, it was 89.96%.

Abstract

Permasalahan umum dalam Pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah Masih minimnya pemahaman Guru tentang penerapan Alat Peraga Edukatif oleh guru PAUD dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas dan masih kurang nya ide bagi guru PAUD dalam mengembangkan Alat Peraga Edukatif dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas sehingga guru selalu menggunakan media yang sama dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Dalam Pembuatan Alat Peraga Edukatif memang tidaklah semudah yang di bayangkan karena guru harus mempertimbangkan aspek mulai dari perencanaan pemilihan media pembelajaran yang meliputi (1) Perencanaan pembelajaran di TK/ PAUD (2) Sasaran belajar yaitu anak (3) Tingkat keterbacaan media apakah sudah memenuhi syarat teknis spt kejelasan, ukuran, pengaturan warna.(4) Kesesuaian dengan situasi dan kondisi tempat , seperti luas lahan, lingkungan lembaga, dan sumberdaya masyarakat di sekitar lembaga dan (5) Objektivitas harus terhindar dari pemilihan media yang didasari oleh kesenangan pribad pribadi semata. Metode pelaksanaan Pelatiahan ini menggunakan ceramah, Tanya jawab dan praktek. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah 1) Guru PAUD dan mahasiswa mampu menciptakan APE sederhana namun inovatif dari berbagai bahan bekas yang ada dilingkungan sekitar. 2) Terciptanya pembelajaran yang menyenangkan bagi peserta didik.
