Abstract

Game adalah salah satu dari perkembangan teknologi komputerisasi yang sangat menarik dan banyak digemari tidak hanya digunakan oleh kalangan remaja dan dewasa, tetapi juga digunakan oleh kalangan usia anak sekolah. Bermain game dapat memberikan dampak negatif salah satunya adalah jumlah jam tidur yang yang kurang dari kebutuhan. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan lama bermain game dengan jumlah jam tidur pada siswa SD Negeri Pannyikkokang 1 Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional . Pangambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tehnik random sampling dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 90 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner, pengolahan data dengan menggunakan program SPSS dengan uji statistik Chi- Square dan tingkat kemaknaan p value < 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil analisis hubungan lama bermain game dengan jumlah jam tidur diperoleh nilai p = 0,003 berarti ada hubungan bermakna antara lama bermain game dengan jumlah jam tidur. Diharapkan penjelasan ke orangtua tentang dampak yang ditimbulkan akibat bermain game, walaupun bermain game mempunyai dampak positif bagi anak untuk mengembangkan kecerdasannya tapi untuk menghindari dampak negatif sebaiknya anak usia sekolah tidak diberi gadget dan komputer yang dapat berpengaruh pada kesehatan anak.

Abstract

Introduction : Currently, stunting is one of the government's main concerns, because cases of stunting are increasing in Indonesia. The prevalence of stunting, which is in the high category, will affect growth and development failure in toddlers and will affect economic status if not taken seriously. One effort that can be done is to increase family empowerment, both through knowledge and attitudes and behavior.Objective: This study aims to determine family behavior with the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 3-5 years, where the family behavior variables consist of Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS), family behavior in food processing, and family behavior in feeding. Research Methods: In this study using a descriptive research design with a cross sectional study approach. The respondents were mothers who had stunted toddlers aged 3-5 years in the working area of ​​the Kaluku Bodoa Health Center, with a purposive sampling technique of 68 samples. Results: From the data analysis using SPSS with the chi square test, the results showed that there was a relationship between family PHBS behavior in food processing and feeding with the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 3-5 years. As for each value p is p1 = 0.014, p­2 ­­= 0.012 and p3 = 0.000. Conclusion: from the results of this study, it can be concluded that the family is one of the factors that can reduce the incidence of stunting, for this reason it is necessary to increase government programs, especially in health centers that involve families in efforts to prevent stunting.

Abstract

Febrile convulsions are seizures that occur due to an increase in body temperature. Data from the Makassar City Health Office in 2012 reported the incidence of fever of unknown causes as many as 54,782 cases. The study aimed to know the experience of Bugis mothers in handling febrile seizures in children in the working area of the Tamamaung Health Center, Panakkukang Sub-District, Makassar. Qualitative research design with phenomenological study, through semi-structured interviews with in-depth interview method. The number of participants was 6 people obtained by purposive sampling. Data were collected in the form of interview recordings and field notes using the thematic analysis method. There are four points of results, Makassar Bugis mothers understand the description of febrile seizures, Makassar Bugis mothers are able to handle febrile seizure children, Psychological experience of Makassar Bugis mothers in handling febrile seizures, Makassar Bugis mothers' ability to prevent febrile seizures in children. Housewives play an important role in child care at home. Health workers need to increase the knowledge of Makassar Bugis mothers about how to handle febrile seizures at home.

Abstract

Globally, it is estimated that 15-20% of all births, or >20 million newborns each year, are low birth weight babies. Low and middle-income countries have a fairly high burden of LBW. The incidence of low birth weight in Papua is highest in the city of Jayapura. Namely, with a birth rate of 5,142 there are 169 incidents of LBW, while in Mappi city, with a birth rate of 2532, there are 80 incidents of low birth weight, and this is still quite high. This study is research descriptive analytics with a planned cross-sectional study. The population in this study is all patients with chronic energy deficiency at the Senggo Health Center were 61 respondents taken from January to February 2023 with a total sample of 53 obtained using simple random sampling. The results showed that there is a relationship between chronic lack of energy in pregnant women with the incidence of low birth weight at the Senggo Health Center with a value of p=0.007<< α=0.05. So it can be concluded that pregnant women who experience chronic energy deficiency will be at risk of giving birth to babies with low birth weight.

Abstract

Students often experience stress stemming from academic activities. For final year students who often become stressors is in working on a thesis. When experiencing stress, students often share their problems with others to get support or solutions to relieve their feelings, which is called self-disclosure, which is a type of communication where a person openly discloses information about themselves (thoughts, feelings, and behaviors). Objective: To determine the relationship between self-disclosure and stress levels in final year students at STIKES Panakkukang Makassar. Research Method: Quantitative research with an analytical design and using the Cross Sectional Study approach using the Proportionate stratified random sampling technique with a sample of 163 respondents. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire. Results: Students who experienced moderate stress with closed self-disclosure amounted to 125 (76.7Conclusion and suggestions: There is a relationship between self-disclosure and stress levels in final year students at STIKES Panakkukang Makassar. It is hoped that future researchers will research more subjects and collect more diverse data, so that the data obtained is more complete.

Abstract

Phlebitis is venous inflammation caused by chemical, mechanical or bacterial irritation which is often caused by complications from intravenous therapy. To find out the description of the management of phlebitis wounds in children with infusion at Haji Hospital Makassar. The research method in preparing this case study is descriptive and action observation. The management of phlebitis wounds carried out by nurses was by giving warm compresses, where subject 1 was given for 2 days while subject 2 was given for 3 days according to the SOP at the hospital. Evaluation of the management of phlebitis wounds carried out by nurses by giving warm compresses to patient subject 1 whose phlebitis wound resolved on day 2 while in patient subject 2 the phlebitis wound resolved on day 3. From the results of research conducted by the author in the Al-Kautsar Room, Haji Hospital Makassar on 10-13 June 2024, the results showed a description of the actions for treating phlebitis wounds in accordance with the SOP. In dealing with phlebitis wounds, good and appropriate care has been taken. When providing treatment for phlebitis wounds, you should take action by the established SOP procedures.

Abstract

enelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi hubungan antara praktek Inisiasi Menyusui Dini (IMD), pemberian ASI eksklusif, dan pemantauan tumbuh kembang dengan kejadian stunting dan wasting pada anak balita di wilayah Puskesmas Kassi-Kassi Makassar. Data dikumpulkan dari 36 responden menggunakan metode survei dan dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square untuk menentukan signifikansi hubungan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 96,7% responden yang diberikan IMD mengalami stunting pendek, sementara 2,8% mengalami stunting sangat pendek dengan nilai p kurang dari 0,05. Pemberian ASI eksklusif juga terkait dengan kejadian stunting (74,0% pendek, 20,0% sangat pendek) dengan nilai p < 0,05. Sedangkan pemantauan tumbuh kembang terbukti signifikan terkait dengan kejadian stunting (66,7% pendek, 8,3% sangat pendek) dengan nilai p < 0,05. Selain itu, IMD juga berkaitan dengan kejadian wasting (2,8% gizi kurang, 10,0% sangat kurang) dan ASI eksklusif dengan wasting (74,0% gizi kurang, 20,0% sangat kurang), kedua-duanya signifikan dengan nilai p kurang dari 0,05. Kesimpulannya, praktek IMD, pemberian ASI eksklusif, dan pemantauan tumbuh kembang sangat penting dalam upaya pencegahan stunting dan wasting pada anak balita di Puskesmas Kassi-Kassi Makassar.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition where growth and development is chronically stunted and caused by direct and indirect factors, it is very important for parents to know about stunting. The purpose of this activity is that parents are expected to be able to recognize stunting and carry out early prevention stimulation for toddlers. The method used is the distribution of educational leaflets, the provision of health education and discussion of questions and answers to mothers who bring toddlers at the village hall of Tanrara Kec. Bontonompo, Gowa Regency. The results obtained from this activity were that the enthusiasm of parents in participating in this activity was very high, marked by the liveliness of answering the questions given and participating in the activity until it was finished.
