Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the importance of studying English literature on kindergarten, to enhance children?s interest on studying English literature, improving their vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, writing and listening for both the teacher and student by providing an interactive and educative studying media. This research was classified as a descriptive qualitative research. The output of this research was (1) integrated text and exercise book, (2) studying media such as flashcard, poster, compact disc with 13 educative movies, (3) empowerment, training, and development to the educator person.

Abstract

Artikel dengan judul Pasemon Keadaan Pemilu sebagai Kritik Terhadap Keserakahan Calon dan Kecurangan dalam Kumpulan Geguritan Aku Siih Ana Karya St. Sri Emyani bertujuan untuk mengetahui wujud dari pasemon yang termuat dalam beberapa geguritan yang terdapat di dalam antologi serta untuk mengetahui relevansinya terhadap kerakahan dan kecurangan yang terjadi pada Pemilu. Metode penelitian yang diguanakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan menyajikan hasil analisis berupa deskripsi dan penjelasan. Dalam penelitian ini teori yang digunakan adalah teori stilistika dengan mengkaji gaya bahasa dari penulis dan memaknainya secara kontekstual. Penelitian ini juga dibatu dengan pendekatan dualisme. Teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik studi pustaka (library research) dan teknik dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan memilih data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa puisi bukanlah hanya sebatas karya sastra yang memiliki keindahan tertentu, namun puisi dapat menjadi media kritik dan sindiran kepada Pemilu yang terjadi di Indonesia. Kritikan dan sindiran dalam beberapa geguritan di Kumpulan Geguritan Aku Isih Ana dituangkan dalam bentu pasemon. Kata Kunci: Stilistika, Pasemon, Pemilu

Abstract

The application of Euglena as a carbon capture organism has generated considerable interest among scientists. Through the photosynthesis process, many kinds of metabolites are produced by Euglena, such as lipids, proteins, and pigments. Due to the metabolites produced by Euglena, it is vital to optimize the carbon capture ability and cell growth rate by adding Zn2+ content and giving photoperiodic into Euglena culture. The purpose of this study is to identify the optimal photoperiod and Zn2+ concentration to increase the growth rate, biomass, and metabolite content of Euglena sp. This study is a laboratory experiment involving the cultivation of Euglena sp. in various photoperiod cycles (light:dark), namely 24:0, 12:12, 14:10, and 16:8. In addition, Euglena sp. was also cultivated using different concentrations of Zn2+ (0 ppm, 5 ppm, 10 ppm, and 15 ppm). The growth of Euglena sp. was monitored for 18 days before being harvested every three days to measure the research parameters, including primary and secondary metabolites. The results showed that the photoperiod treatment and various concentrations of Zn2+ had a significant impact (P<0.05) on the growth rate, biomass, lipid, carbohydrate, protein, chlorophyll, and carotenoid levels of Euglena sp.
