Abstract

Abstact. The Data from the Central Statistics Bureau (BPS) in 2018 showed that the open unemployment rate in Indonesia reached 5.13% or 6.7 million out of the 36.8 million workforce. Growing the spirit of entrepreneurship to students is a solution to reduce unemployment. With the spirit of entrepreneurship, it is expected that scholars can become job creators for themselves and others. This study aims to investigate the factors that influence students' interest in pursuing the world of entrepreneurship. The models analyzed included socio-demographic, attitudinal, and contextual factors. The method that will be used in this research is descriptive and verification. The data used is in the form of primary and secondary data. Sampling in this study uses the Purposive Sampling method. The results of the study can be concluded that attitude and contextual factors are significantly influence towards students’ intention to parcticing entrepreneurship. Abstrak. Pada 2018, Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) merilis data yang menyatakan bahwa Indonesia memiliki menunjukkan tingkat pengangguran hingga 5,13%. Angka tersebut setara dengan 6,7 juta jiwa dari 36,8 juta jiwa angkatan kerja. Solusi untuk mengurangi tingginya angka pengangguran tersebut dapat dilaksanakan dengan berbagai upaya, salah satunya ialah dengan menumbuhkan minat wirausaha kepada mahasiswa. Kemunculan sarjana dengan minat wirausaha diharapkan dapat memicu tumbuhnya lapangan kerja, baik bagi dirinya sendiri maupun orang lain. Artikel ini melaporkan penelitian yang menginvestigasi berbagai faktor yang memberikan pengaruh kepada minat mahasiswa dalam menekuni kewirausahaan. Faktor-faktor tersebut meliputi sosio-demografi, sikap, dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi berbagai faktor tersebut dengan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif melalui penggunaan data primer dan sekunder. Metode purposive sampling digunakan sebagai cara penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa faktor sikap dan kontekstual memengaruhi minat wirausaha mahasiswa.

Abstract

Partisipasi masyarakat memiliki banyak bentuk, mulai dari keikutsertaan langsung masyarakat dalam program pemerintahan maupun yang sifatnya tidak langsung, seperti sumbangan dana, tenaga, pikiran, maupun pendapat dalam pembuatan kebijakan pemerintah. Keberhasilan pelaksanaan pembangunan Desa sangat bergantung kepada peranan pemerintah dan masyarakatnya. Tetapi dalam realitanya tingkat Partisipasi Masyarakat untuk Pembangunan Desa Pandamaan Kecamatan Danau Panggang pada tahap sosialisasi dan hingga pada tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan pembangunan infrastruktur masih tergolong rendah. Kata kunci: partisipasi masyarakat; pembangunan Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif di mana teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan Observasi, interview atau wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan jumlah Informan sebanyak 20 Orang di Desa Pandamaan Kecamatan Danau Panggang Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Partisipasi Masyarakat Dalam Pembangunan Di Desa Pandamaan Kecamatan Danau Panggang Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara masih tergolong rendah, terlihat dari partisipasi masyarakat pada keterlibatan mental dan emosi, tidak terlibat dalam keterlibatan memberikan ide-ide, peran atau pun motivasi, dorongan memberikan sumbangan, berupa materi (uang), tenaga, maupun sarana, dinilai tidak ada. untuk hal penerimaan tanggung jawab, termasuk dalam pemanfaatan hasil dan pemeliharaan hasil pembangunan, dinilai lumayan, pada perencanaan dan keputusan, penentuan lokasi masyarakat ikut membantu, masyarakat tidak dilibatkan untuk menjadi tenaga kerja karena kurang keahlian, dalam tahapan pelaksanaan masyarakat kurang peduli, tidak ada pengawasan dan evaluasi dari masyarakat dan untuk pemanfaatan hasil yang berhubungan dengan pendataan hasil  dan pembentukan kelompok pemeliharaan pembangunan masyakat tidak peduli.

Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan secara lengkap Kinerja Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) dalam pelaksanaan Program Hibah Air Minum. Bagaimana produktivitas, kualitas layanan, responsitas, respontabilitas dan akuntabilitas yang telah dilaksanakan. Serta faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi dalam pelaksanaan Program Hibah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe deskriptif-kualitatif. Teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 10 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi.  Setelah data terkumpul kemudian dianalisi dengan teknik meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan kinerja Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) dalam pelaksanaan Program Hibah Air Minum di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara ini tidak sepenuhnya dapat dikatakan baik, karena dari beberapa indikator yang digunakan masih ada yang belum terpenuhi seperti  dari segi produktivas, kualitas layanan, dan responsivitas, sedangkan yang terpenuhi yaitu dari segi responsibilitas dan akuntabilitas. Walaupun masih ada kekurangan akan tetapi program tersebut tetap berjalan dan masih banyak masyarakat yang ingin mendapatkan. Di samping itu ada beberapa faktor yang berkaitan dengan  pelaksanaan program hibah air minum ini yaitu tidak adanya sosialisasi langsung kepada masyarakat, pembayaran insentif yang lambat, calon pelanggan tidak ada ditempat, banyaknya keluhan masyarakat serta standar pemasangan yang berubah. Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest rice producing countries in the world. In rural areas, the majority of the population has a livelihood as rice farmers. Being a farmer also has several obstacles, one of which is the attack of planthopper on rice plants. This makes the yield less optimal. Farmers must be vigilant from the outset against planthopper pests. Onward with the development of technology, farmers can use information technology as a learning tool to detect planthopper pests early and control them. The result of the development of information technology that every community uses and owns is an Android-based smartphone. For this reason, with the socialization of the application of early detection of planthopper pests and their control using biological agents can help farmers in managing rice plants. The app is made based on Android, so farmers can install the application into a smartphone to detect planthopper pests. Whereas for the control of planthopper pests selected using Biological Agent, because Biological Agents are a safer way to control planthopper pests than using pesticides. By utilizing Android applications and biological agents, farmers are expected to get maximum yields.Keywords—: Rice; Wereng Pest; Socialization;  Biological Agents.

Abstract

In Indonesia, rice is still an essential commodity. Besides as a crop producing staple food for rice, also as a source of eyes the primary search for farmers. Problems that are often experienced by farmers are the threat of pest attacks. If not handled quickly and correctly suffered a massive loss, it can even cause a failed harvest finally harming farmers. In Madiun Regency, the total rice fields are planted hopper infestation before the 2017 rainy season harvest reaching 223 hectares covering Pilangkenceng Subdistrict, Wonoasri, Balerejo, Sawahan, Mejayan, Saradan, and Wungu. So far to suppress attacks Planthopper pests, farmers, give stimulant pesticides to plants that if Improper handling will interfere with health. The best solution is to recognize the initial attack of pests so that the level of attack on plants can be minimized. The limited knowledge and skills of partner farmers in identifying their paddy plants early makes farmers prefer the fast way by spraying pesticides. This Community Service aims to motivate farmers to avoid using pesticides by providing quick and easy and attractive solutions in early detection rice crop pests. To facilitate farmers in detecting pest attacks, a website was developed which contained information about planthopper pest attacks and how to overcome them by using biological agents. Website developed can be used by farmers by accessing it through a browser on a computer device or smartphone device.Keywords : Website, Pest, Rice, Farmers.

Abstract

Decision Support System is a system was used to help getting making decisions on a problem, such as  selecting students in  the archery sports that will be face to a championship event such as SEA GAMES (South East Games). In Decision Support System there are many methods that can be used, one of them is Analitycal Hierarchy Process method. Analitycal Hierarchy Process method is one of the more efficient decision-making methods because the data is very detailed, all the criteria and alternatives will be compared one by one. The calculation used to solve a problem uses multiplication to relate the preference value, where the value for each criteria and alternative must be searched for eigen / priority vector first, after it is proved consistency using RI table (ratio index), if the result of verification is less than 10% (0.1) then it is consistent and the calculation can be continued, but if the verification result is more than 10% (0.1) then the calculation is considered inconsistent and needs to be repeated from the beginning. This support system uses a web base, where the data entered will be saved into the MySQL database. The test results of the Student Selection Selection Decision Support System Using Analitycal Hierarchy Process Method Based Web get results as expected on the Black Box. Abstract

 Analysis of thermal decomposition and pyrolisis reaction kinetics of Spirulina platensis residue (SPR) was performed using Thermogravimetric Analyzer. Thermal decomposition was conducted with the heating rate of 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50oC/min from 30 to 1000oC. Thermogravimetric (TG), Differential Thermal Gravimetric (DTG), and Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) curves were then obtained. Each of the curves was divided into 3 stages. In Stage I, water vapor was released in endothermic condition. Pyrolysis occurred in exothermic condition in Stage II, which was divided into two zones according to the weight loss rate, namely zone 1 and zone 2. It was found that gasification occurred in Stage III in endothermic condition. The heat requirement and heat release on thermal decomposition of SPR are described by DTA curve, where 3 peaks were obtained for heating rate 10, 20 and 30°C/min and 2 peaks for 40 and 50°C/min, all peaks present in Zone 2. As for the DTG curve, 2 peaks were obtained in Zone 1 for similar heating rates variation. On the other hand, thermal decomposition of proteins and carbohydrates is indicated by the presence of peaks on the DTG curve, where lignin decomposition do not occur due to the low lipid content of SPR (0.01wt%). The experiment results and calculations using one-step global model successfully showed that the activation energy (Ea) for the heating rate of 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50oC/min for zone 1 were 35.455, 41.102, 45.702, 47.892 and 47.562 KJ/mol, respectively, and for zone 2 were 0.0001428, 0.0001240, 0.0000179, 0.0000100 and 0.0000096 KJ/mol, respectively.Keywords: Spirulina platensis residue (SPR), Pyrolysis, Thermal decomposition, Peak, Activation energy.Article History: Received June 15th 2017; Received in revised form August 12th 2017; Accepted August 20th 2017; Available onlineHow to Cite This Article: Jamilatun, S., Budhijanto, Rochmadi, and Budiman, A. Abstract

Biodiesel is one of the promising energy source alternatives to fossil fuel. To produce biodiesel in a more economical way, the employment of the low-cost feed stocks, such as non-edible oils with high free fatty acid (FFA), is necessary. Accordingly, the esterification reaction of FFA in vegetable oils plays an important role in the biodiesel production. In this work, esterification of FFA contained in Crude Jatropha Oil (CJO) in the presence of tin (II) chloride catalyst in a batch reactor has been carried out. The esterification reaction was conducted using methanol at the temperature of 40-60 °C for 4 hours. The effect of molar ratio of methanol to oil was studied in the range 15:1 to 120:1. The influence of catalyst loading was investigated in the range of 2.5 to 15% w/w oil. The optimum reaction conversion was obtained at 60 °C with the catalyst loading of 10% w/w oil and molar ratio of methanol to oil of 120:1. A pseudo-homogeneous reversible second order kinetic model for describing the esterification of FFA contained in CJO with methanol over tin (II) chloride catalyst was developed based on the experimental data. The kinetic model can fit the data very well.

Abstract

Biodiesel can be produced from various vegetable oils and animal fat. Abundant sources of vegetable oil in Indonesia, such as Calophyllum inophyllum, Ricinus communis, palm oil, and waste cooking oil, were used as raw materials. Multi-feedstock biodiesel was used to increase the flexibility operation of biodiesel production. This study was conducted to determine the effect of a combination of vegetable oils on biodiesel characteristics. Degumming and two steps of esterification were applied for high free fatty acid feedstock before trans-esterification in combination with other vegetable oils. Potassium hydroxide was used as a homogenous catalyst and methanol as another raw material. The acid value of C. inophyllum decreased from 54 mg KOH/gr oil to 2.15 mg KOH/gr oil after two steps of esterification. Biodiesel yield from multi-feedstock was 87.926% with a methanol-to-oil molar ratio of 6:1, temperature of 60 ℃, and catalyst of 1%wt. ©2020. CBIORE-IJRED. All rights reserved

Abstract

Previous studies of biodiesel production from microalgae have concluded that microalgal biodiesel is not profitable at an industrial scale due to its excessive energy consumption for lipid extraction. Hydrodynamic cavitation lipid extraction is one of the extraction methods which has lower energy consumption. Thismethod enables a fast extraction rate and low energy consumption for cell disruption. In order to achieve optimum process conditions, several influential parameters, which are cavitation generator geometry and driving pressure, need to be scrutinized. The experimental result showed that the maximum yield was obtained at 5 bar driving pressure. The lowest specific extraction energy was obtained at 4.167 bar driving pressure while using one side concave cavitation generator geometry with the ratio of the reduced cross-sectional area of 0.39. The value of the energy extraction requirement 17.79 kJoule/g lipids is less than the biodiesel heating value, and the value of the volumetric mass transfer coefficient is almost 20 times fold greater than the conventional extraction method, therefore this method is promising to be further developed.
