Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of emotional intelligence, intellectual intelligence, and spiritual intelligence on the level of understanding of accounting among several classes of students majoring in Accounting at private campuses in the East Jakarta area. This type of research is quantitative. The data collection technique uses a survey method using a questionnaire via Google Forms. The total sample obtained was 284 students as respondents. The criteria used in this research were accounting study program students class 2018-2022. Based on the discussion of research results, it shows that partially the emotional intelligence variable has no effect on the level of accounting understanding, while intellectual intelligence and spiritual intelligence have a positive and significant effect on the level of accounting understanding. The results of this research provide an implication for every teacher to pay attention to students' emotional intelligence so that they do not feel bored and fed up quickly in studying accounting and are lazy to try again if they fail in accounting courses. This means that if a student often feels quickly bored, fed up and does not want to try to learn from failures that occur, it is certain that the student's understanding of accounting lessons will not develop.

Abstract

Effective human resource management is essential for the success of any organization, particularly in the face of fierce competition. In order to improve overall performance, companies must ensure that their employees are selected and placed in appropriate positions. This study aims to investigate the impact of HR recruitment, placement, and work commitment on employee performance at PT LT. The chosen method was a survey approach, utilizing a quantitative causal associative questionnaire. The results of the regression analysis revealed that HR recruitment, placement, and work commitment all have a significant effect on employee performance. Therefore, it is important for organizations to gain a deeper understanding of how recruitment, placement, commitment, and performance are interconnected in order to maximize their human resources potential and gain a competitive advantage in the market.

Abstract

Logistics transportation manages and provides transportation facilities and infrastructure for smooth logistics distribution. Logistics activities or freight forwarding services refer to the management and distribution of logistics goods obtained from users, stored in logistics warehouses, sorted shipments, and transported and sent to the destination address. Logistics activities have an important role in a business company, but the important role of logistics transportation is also major in distributing goods. This activity aims to produce graduates of experts who are reliable and best in transportation and logistics and have a reputation for ready-to-use labor. The methods used are lectures, discussions, and questions and answers. The implementation of the training activities of the participants was no obstacle in conducting counseling, and the internet connection was not interrupted. In support of infrastructure, facilities are adequate, namely the availability of laptops or personal computers from participants so that all participants can take part in counseling optimally

Abstract

Lecturers at the Jakarta Indonesian College of Economics provided counseling about entrepreneurship in the context of Community Service with topics that are appropriate in the current era, namely Entrepreneurship in the Digital Era. This is an adjustment to the times. Community service using lecture and discussion methods to high school students whose content needs to be emphasized that today's business needs to master e-commerce. Because e-commerce is defined as the process of buying and selling between two parties in a company by exchanging goods, services or information via the internet. This is the world of digital entrepreneurship, namely entrepreneurship that is influenced by, or takes advantage of, digital transformation in business. In this development, millennials, including Pelita Tiga High School students, absorb digital business knowledge more easily than the older generation.

Abstract

ujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat oleh Dosen STEI adalah untuk menumbuhkan jiwa berwirausaha siswa SMK Diponegoro sehingga nanti lebih siap dalam menjalankan berbagai usaha. Memberi pemahaman bagaimana memulai wirausaha sehingga mampu menciptakan lapangan kerja sendiri. Mengurangi tingkat pengangguran karena menunggu pekerjaan atau pola berfikir negatif dalam dirinya terhadap dunia usaha. Waktu pelaksanaan Senin, 8 Januari 2024 di Gedung SMK Diponegoro Jakarta di Jl. Sunan Giri Jakarta. Masing masing Pembicara Dosen STEI memberikan materi untuk para siswa SMK Diponegoro Jakara. Metode PKM adalah dengan ceramah dan tanya jawab, dengan materi motivasi dan matari tentang strategi memulai bisnis dan mngelola bisnis secara baik dan berhasil. Kesimpulan dari hasil penyuluhan pada kegiatan pengabdian diketahui bahwa peserta mengerti dan berkeinginan kuat untuk meningkatkan kreativitas mereka dalam berwirausaha dan terus menciptakan ide-ide bisnisnya. Dengan berbekal pengetahuan dan motivasi dari Tim Dosen Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indonesia Jakarta, siswa SMK Diponegoro dapat mulai menerapkan perencanaan dalam kegiatan usaha. Para siswa siap membuat perencanaan bisnis yang dikaitkan juga dengan pelajaran kewirausahaan di sekolah dengan bimbingan para guru untuk kelanjutannya.
