Abstract

ABSTRACT According to the Basic Health Research in Indonesia in 2013, national prevalence of stunting in 2013 was 37.2 percent (18.0 percent severely stunting and 19.2 percent stunting) which meant an increase compared to 2010 (35.6%) and 2007 (36.8%). In 2013, the prevalence of severely stunting showed a decline, from 18.8 percent in 2007 and 18.5 percent in 2010. Meanwhile, the stunting prevalence increased from 18.0 percent in 2007 to 19.2 percent in 2013 (Ministry of Health, 2013). Research objectives: To find out the description of mother and stunting parenting children aged 12-36 months in Tolutu Village, Tomini District, South BolaangMongondow Regency. The study design used a descriptive observational study design. This approach is intended to describe parenting and stunting. The results showed that a number of 12 children (80%) did not exclusive breastfed, 7 children (46.6%) consumed mostlyrice, fish and vegetables,8 children (53.3%) had eating frequency 1-3 times per day plus snacks, and 8 children (53.3%) consumed ½ portion size. The results showed eight children (53.5%) were in the non-stunting category and 7 children (46.6%) in the stunting category. Keywords: Parenting, Stunting ABSTRAK Hasil Riset Kesehatan Dasar di Indonesia tahun 2013 menunjukkan prevalensi pendek secara nasional tahun 2013 adalah 37,2 persen, yang berarti terjadi peningkatan dibandingkan tahun 2010 (35,6%) dan 2007 (36,8%). Prevalensi pendek sebesar 37,2 persen terdiri dari 18,0 persen sangat pendek dan 19,2 persen pendek. Pada tahun 2013 prevalensi sangat pendek menunjukkan penurunan, dari 18,8 persen tahun 2007 dan 18,5 persen tahun 2010. Prevalensi pendek meningkat dari 18,0 persen pada tahun 2007 menjadi 19,2 persen pada tahun 2013 (Kemenkes, 2013).Tujuan penelitianMengetahui gambaran tentang pola asuh ibu dan stunting anak usia 12-36 bulan di Desa Tolutu Kecamatan Tomini Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Selatan.Desain penelitianmenggunakan desain studi observational deskriptif dengan melakukan pendekatan. Pendekatan ini dimaksudkan untuk menggambarkan pola asuh dan stunting.Hasildidapatkan bahwa sejumlah 12 anak (80%) tidak berikan ASI Ekslusif, jenis makanan yang dikonsumsi sebagian besar mengkonsumsi nasi, ikan dan sayur yakni sebanyak 7 anak (46.6%), frekuensi makan anak sebagian besar 1 ? 3 kali ditambah selingan yakni sebanyak 8 anak (53.3%) dan jumlah makanan yang dikonsumsi anak dalam sehari sebagian besar mengkonsumsi ½ piring yakni sebanyak 8 anak (53.3%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar bahwa terdapat 8 balita (53.5%) dalam kategori tidak stunting dan 7 balita (46.6%) dalam kategori stunting. Kata Kunci : Pola Asuh, Stunting

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Obesity at children may impact health negatively for instance coronary heart disease and hypertension. Number of obesity suffering at children keeps increasing as change of eating pattern and life style. Less physical activity can influence weight. Data of Riskesdas in 2010 shows that prevalence of obesity at babies in Gorontalo Province is 7,8%. Objective: it aims to investigate risk factor of physical activity on obesity at children of TK Al-Islah of Gorontalo City in 2017. Research Methodology: research design applies case control. Research samples are 50 children of pre-school. The research samples are divided into 25 children with normal nutritional status and 25 children with obesity nutritional status. Nutritional status is determined by calculation of z-score of IMT/U. Variable of physical activity is determined based on calculation of questionnaire result that is adapted from Baecke?s research. The research is conducted in TK Al-Islah, Kota Tengah, Gorontalo City. It is conducted from July to August 2017. Research finding: Physical activity at students of TK Al-Ishlah, Gorontalo City, physical activity category is good for 56,0%, less good physical activity is 44,0%. Good physical activity and not obesity is 80,0% while good physical activity and obesity is 32,0%. Less good physical activity and not obesity is 20,0% while less good physical activity and obesity is 68,0%. There is correlation of physical activity with students? nutritional status (IMT/U) at TK Al-Islah in 2017. Keywords: physical activity, obesity, school-aged children ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Obesitas pada anak dapat berdampak negative bagi kesehatan. Contohnya penyakit jantung koroner dan hipertensi. Jumlah penderita obesitas pada anak semakin meningkat seiring perubahan pola makan dan gaya hidup. Gaya hidup yang kurang aktivitas fisik dapat mempengaruhi berat badan. Data dari Riskesdas 2010 menyatakan bahwa prevalensi obesitas pada balita di provinsi Gorontalo mencapai 7,8%. Tujuan: Diketahuinya faktor risiko aktivitas fisik terhadap obesitas pada anak di TK Al-Islah Kota Gorontalo tahun 2017. Metodologi Penelitian: Desain penelitian menggunakan case control. Sebanyak 50 anak pra sekolah dijadikan sampel penelitian. Sampel penelitian dibagi menjadi 25 anak dengan status gizi normal dan 25 anak berstatus gizi obesitas. Status gizi ditentukan berdasarkan perhitungan z-score IMT/U. Variabel aktivitas fisik ditentukan berdasarkan perhitungan dari hasil kuesioner yang diadaptasi dari penelitian Baecke. Penelitian bertempat di TK Al Islah Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian dilakukan selama bulan Juli sampai dengan Agustus 2017. Hasil Penelitian: Aktivitas fisik pada siswa TK Al-Islah Kota Gorontalo, kategori aktivitas fisik baik 56,0% kategori aktivitas fisik kurang baik 44,0%. Aktivitas fisik baik dan tidak obesitas 80,0% aktivitas fisik baik dan obesitas 32,0%. Aktivitas fisik kurang baik dan tidak obesitas 20,0% dan aktivitas fisik kurang baik dan obesitas 68,0%. Ada hubungan aktivitas fisik dengan status gizi (IMT/U) siswa di TK Al-Islah tahun 2017. Kata Kunci: aktivitas fisik, obesitas, anak sekolah

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Metabolisme tidak normal dikaitkan dengan perubahan komposisi tubuh, yaitu massa otot rangka kombinasikan dengan lemak tubuh, yang membantu beban metabolisme ganda dan meningkatkan risiko mengembangkan penyakit tidak menular. Tujuan: Menganalisis korelasi glukosa darah puasa dengan komposisi tubuh pada subjek wanita dengan kelebihan berat badan dan obesitas Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre eksperimen, dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret- Mei tahun 2024 di Poltekkes Kemenkes Gorontalo. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan pemeriksaan kadar glukosa darah puasa vena dan pengukuran komposisi tubuh tanpa ada intervensi. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi pearson dan spearman. Hasil: Tidak ada korelasi glukosa darah puasa dengan lemak total dan massa otot, namun ada korelasi glukosa darah puasa dengan lingkar perut, lemak perut, dan IMT pada subjek wanita dengan kelebihan berat badan dan obesitas. Simpulan: Lemak perut mempunyai tingkat korelasi sangat rendah terhadap kadar gula darah (0,315), lingkar perut mempunyai tingkat korelasi cukup kuat terhadap gula darah (0,499), IMT mempunyai tingkat korelasi rendah (0,391).

Abstract

Wet noodles available on the market are often lacking in adequate nutrition, with higher carbohydrates, lower protein, and fewer vitamins. Thus, develop a healthy, economical, and nutritious wet noodles using local ingredients is needed. The study aimed to investigate the enhancement of nutritional value in wet noodles by fortifying them with vegetable flour and mackerel flour. The study useda true experimental design with a posttest-only control group. The design used a complete randomized design consisting of three treatments and four replications. The three treatments were as follows: F0 (wet noodles with fish flour increased by 10 grams of vegetable flour); F1 (wet noodles with fish flour increased by 15 grams of vegetable flour);and F2 (wet noodles with fish flour increased by 20 grams of vegetable flour). The researchers analyzed the nutritional composition of the noodles, focusing on carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and iron. The findings of the study showed that the carbohydrate content in the three treatments of wet noodles with increased vegetable flour ranged from 14.3% to 16.7%. The protein content in the treatments ranged from 8.61% to 9.22%. The fat content varied from 2.62% to 2.9%. Moreover, the iron content in the treatment of wet noodles with increased vegetable flour ranged from 22.08 mg/kg to 25.76 mg/kg. The result of the ANOVA statistical test showed that there was a significant difference in the addition of vegetable flour to the iron content of mackerel meal wet noodles.

Abstract

Enhancing immunity is crucial against COVID-19, achieved through improved nutrition, especially protein and vitamin A. Protein aids in antibody production, which is vital for infection defence. Malnourished children have weakened immunity due to inadequate antibody formation, leading to higher mortality rates. Vitamin A also bolsters immunity. This study focused on tuna sausages enriched with pumpkin flour to enhance nutritional value and visual appeal. The aim was to boost agricultural and fisheries productivity for food security during the pandemic, offering a healthy, cost-effective protein and vitamin A source from local resources. The study assessed the characteristics of these sausages through a randomized design with three formulations: 10%, 20%, and 30% pumpkin flour. Nutritional analysis was conducted using the proximate method. Results favoured the second formula, showing significant differences in taste, colour, and texture. The third formula had the highest protein content, while the second one excelled in fat and vitamin A.
