Abstract

The economic independence of rural communities depends on the ability of the community to run the businesses owned by it's self. One of the businesses that can be developed by the village community is the development of culinary snacks which are the daily needs of the community. This empowering program aims to increase the economic independence of the people of the Pedak in the village of Trimurti, Srandakan District, Bantul Regency through the establishment of Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUB). The output of this program is the establishment of KUB which is engaged in culinary snacks which are sold in several places such as cake shops and cake bazaars during of Ramadan. In addition, the resulting cake products will also be tried to be marketed in the tourist area of Bantul beach and tourists who pass the main Bantul-Kulonprogo road. From the formation of the KUB it is hoped that the community can be empowered so that the economic independence of the community can increase their income. This program is implemented because the Pedak area has potential in product marketing and high demand for snacks. For the success of this program, training in food management, packaging according to standards and structured marketing and organizational training has been carried out.

Abstract

Malaysia witnessed the rise of Islamic education more than a century ago, partly evidenced by the establishment of traditional Islamic education institutions called pondok or madrasah. Starting in the nineteenth century, Islamic pondok schools spread in Malaysia, founded by ‘ulama (Islamic scholars) who gained financial support from the community. As time went by, many pondok, previously supported by civil society, began to face financial difficulties because of the changing political landscape, economic situation, the death of their founders, and changes in government policy. This paper investigates the experiences of two madrasahs in the state of Kelantan in Malaysia and the strategies they have adopted to resolve their financial issues. This paper argues decisions and strategies regarding financing were influenced by several factors, including the degree of attachment felt by the current asatidz (teachers) to the history of their pondok, their desire to preserve the legacy of the madrasah founder, and the level of economic pressure they experienced. The primary choice was between relinquishing ownership to the state by becoming a state (funded) school or remaining a self-governed school with limited access to state funds.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh religiusitas dan tanggungjawab sosial terhadap etos kerja islami karyawan Lembaga Amil Zakat Muhammadiyah . Penelitian dengan metode kuantitatif ini dilakukan Lazismu berjumlah 50 responden penelitian. Level analisis yang diguanakan yaitu individu dengan pengambilan data secara cross sectional dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tanggungjawab sosial dapat meningkatkan etos kerja islami karyawan di Lembaga Amil Zakat, sedangkan karakteristik religiusitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap etos kerja islami karyawan di Lembaga Amil Zakat nasional tersebut. Hal ini membuktikan bahwasannya Lembaga Amil Zakat yang merupakan lembaga sosial, memerlukan karyawan yang memiliki tanggungjawab sosial yang tinggi. Adapun tidak berpengaruhnya karakteristik religiusitas dikarenakan karakteristik tersebut bukan prediktor utama dan tidak berkorelasi secara langsung dengan etos kerja islami. Kontribusi teoritis dan praktis dapat dilihat dalam penelitian ini, yaitu peran tanggungjawab sosial dalam meningkatkan etos kerja islami karyawan Lembaga Amil Zakat Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi saat ini, masyarakat harus mampu membaca potensi yang ada di wilayahnya. Diperlukan inovasi dan kreatifitas untuk mengembangkan potensi yang ada tersebut sehingga diharapkan mampu mendorong masyarakat untuk mendapatkan kemudahan dalam mendapatkan pelayanan dan memenuhi kebutuhan guna mensejahterakan masyarakat. Pengembangan tersebut, selayaknya harus dibangun bersama menggunakan asas dari masyarakat, oleh masyarakat dan untuk masyarakat. Diperlukan informasi yang mudah didapatkan dan pemahaman yang sama antara masyarakat dan aparatur desa guna mewujudkan hal tersebut. Luaran dari program ini diharapkan mampu mendorong terciptanya program sinergitas semua elemen masyarakat dan informasi yang valid. Sehingga, langkah yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pembuatan serta pengembangan sistem informasi yang Desa Wisata Pulesari yang berada di Pulesari, Wono Kerto, Kec. Turi, Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dengan pembuatan dan pengembangan sarana informasi yang berbentuk website. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan untuk menyukseskan program pengabdian ini adalah dengan dilakukan pelatihan konten yang relefan dengan tujuan desa wisata pulesari, pelatihan penggunaan serta pengelolaan website sebagai sarana informasi dari yang paling awal/dasar hingga akhir. Dalam program pengabdian ini juga dilakukan observasi mitra pengabdian, diskusi mengenai masalah mitra, pelatihan dan pengontrolan, pengawasan, evaluasi dan penyusunan laporan akhir.

Abstract

Pemasaran merupakan unsur penting dalam pengembangan suatu usaha maupun produk. Terutama dalam pengembangan suatu usaha mikro kecil (UMKM) untuk dapat bersaing dengan usaha-usaha lain yang lebih berskala besar. Produk tentunya membutuhkan nilai jual yang tinggi agar mampu bersaing dengan produk-produk lain. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan peningkatan kualitas produk karena adanya jaminan mutu dari produk. Mutu produk dapat dijamin dengan kualitas produk, packaging, maupun branding untuk menambah kepercayaan konsumen akan mutu dari produk tersebut. Dengan ditingkatkannya nilai jual produk ini diharapkan mampu menyebabkan jangkauan pemasaran produk yang lebih luas. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu mitra meningkatkan nilai jual produk melalui pengelolaan produksi, branding, pengemasan serta pemasaran beberapa produk yang diproduksi oleh UMKM di Desa Tirtosari, Kretek, Bantul, Yogyakarta seperti geplak, kue satu, peyek dan kethak. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam program pengabdian ini yaitu observasi mitra pengabdian, diskusi mengenai masalah mitra, pelatihan dan pengontrolan, pengawasan dan penyusunan laporan akhir. Program yang dilaksanakan ini menghasilkan izin PIRT bagi beberapa mitra yang ada di Desa Tirtosari, Kretek, Bantul serta dapat membantu mitra untuk meningkatkan pemasaran produk. Program ini berjalan dengan baik karena mitra berpartisipasi secara aktif selama pelaksanaan kegiatan.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil dan menengah (UMKM) merupakan usaha kecil yang dimiliki sebagian masyarakat yang perlu dikembangkan. Pada saaat ini masih banyak UMKM yang sangat membutuhkan pendampingan untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk dan pendampingan dalam pengurusan legalitas usaha dan legalitas kualitas produk yang dihasilkan. Pengabdian ini mrupakan bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat pelaku UMKM dalam meningkatkan kualitas produk dan legalitas dengan mendapatkan sertifikasi Produk industri Rumah Tangga (PIRT) yang dikeluarkan oleh Dinas Kesehatan daerah setempat. Di desa Tirtosari terdapat produksi Peyek pada salah satu UMKM yang sudah berjalan selama 6 tahun. UMKM peyek ARS merupakan usaha yang sekarang di tekuni berbentuk usaha rumahan yang belum mendapatkan legalitas dan belelum mendapatkan sertifikasi PIRT. Pendampingan yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian adalah pengurusan sertifikasi PIRT, dalam mendapatkan sertifikasi tersebut ada beberapa tahapan yang dilakukan mulai dari penyuluhan kelayakan air dan PIRT, proses pengujian air, pendaftaran PKP (Pengusaha Kena Pajak), pengambilan sample air, hasil uji lab, memproses NIB (Nomor Induk Berusaha) dan IUMK (Izin Usaha Mikro dan Kecil) melalui OSS (Operating Support System), permohonan rekomendasi, survey tempat produksi, dan yang terakhir proses pengajuan formulir PIRT.

Abstract

The background of this research is that the Yogyakarta City Baznas is one of the best city-level Baznas, especially in terms of quality management. This is evidenced by the achievements made by Baznas in Yogyakarta. Indirectly, this proves that Baznas RI, including Baznas Yogyakarta, is professional and transparent, free from KKN practices and negative public perceptions when recruiting their employees. This study aims to determine how Baznas Yogyakarta City's recruitment process produces quality human resources to become input and reference for other Islamic Philanthropic Institutions. This research belonged to qualitative research, while the data collection was through interviews, observation, and documentation study. Besides, interviews were conducted with four informants: the Deputy Head of Field IV, Senior Executive Staff, Junior Executive Staff, and the Internal Audit Unit. The validity test of the data was done by using source and technique triangulation. The results of the study prove that the Yogyakarta City Baznas has carried out detailed recruitment methods in the recruitment process for prospective new employees. Baznas Kota Yogyakarta prioritizes internal methods through apprenticeship experiences and volunteering. Baznas Kota Yogyakarta, in selecting the right candidate, has special competencies for prospective employees. This is to create quality human resources and support the success of the institution. So it is proven that the achievements that have been produced are in accordance with the recruitment process to produce quality employees.

Abstract

Creativity is a determinant of a company’s success in competing in today’s modern world. Of course, employees who think creatively are an asset to the company. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture on employee creativity through organizational commitment as a mediating variable for employees of Islamic Financial Institutions in Yogyakarta. This descriptive quantitative research uses a Likert scale in measuring the variables. Respondents in this study amounted to 219 employees who are in Islamic Financial Institutions in Yogyakarta. Data analysis in this study used a Partial Least Square (PLS) based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach. The results showed that organizational culture has a positive effect on employee’s organizational commitment, organizational culture on employee creativity. For this reason, in maintaining the existence of a company, Islamic financial institutions managers need to maintain a creative work culture so that employee commitment can increase as well as their creativity.
