Abstract

The intensity of hate speech behavior is the level of one’s activities in showing negative evaluations as well as justifying and spreading hatred upon others. The rising number of cases of hate speech, bullying, racism, and so on in social media, made researchers interested in conducting research on how students’ strategies in processing information obtained on social media. This study aims to  determine the intensity of hate speech behavior  by social media users on the selection of information processing strategies or messages on social media. This research incorporates a descriptive quantitative research model. The subjects of this study amounted to 158 people age 19-25 years who were selected using the accidental sampling technique. The research instruments in the present study are the information processing scale and hate speech behavior scale. The results showed that social media users in this study tended to use heuristic processing types (61%), systematic (35%), and systematic-heuristic (3%) which demonstrate that most social media users tended to think simply about the content of any information in social media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan self efficacy dengan kesiapan kerja pada siswa SMK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan subyek penelitian 142 siswa SMKN 5 Malang, dengan teknik total sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala self efficacy dan kesiapan kerja, dengan metode analisa data product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara self efficacy dengan kesiapan kerja dengan nilai koefisien korelasi r = 0,676 dan p=0,000 ; p<0,05. Hal ini berarti semakin tinggi self efficacy semakin tinggi pula kesiapan kerjanya, begitu juga sebaliknya, dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 45,6%.Kata kunci: Self Efficacy, Kesiapan Kerja, Siswa SMKThis research aimed to know correlation between self efficacy and readiness to work on SMK students.This research is quantitative research, with total sampling 142 students of SMK as respondents. The data analyzed using product moment correlation showed that there is a positive and significant correlation between self efficacy and work readiness with coefficients r = 0,676 and p = 0.000; p<0,05. Abstract

Semakin tahun perilaku bullying semakin meningkat baik secara verbal, fisik maupun psikologi. Bullying merupakan tindakan intimidasi yang dilakukan pihak yang lebih kuat terhadap pihak yang lebih lemah. Salah satu faktor dari perilaku bullying adalah kemampuan empati yang rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan perilaku bullying pada tipe single sex school dan coeducational schools setelah dikendalikan oleh empati. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif uji ancova, dengan skala perilaku bullying dan skala empati Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI. Jumlah subjek sebanyak 385 santri perempuan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan perilaku bullying ditinjau dari tipe sekolah single sex school dan coeducational school setelah dikendalikan oleh empati nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 ( P ≤ 0,05 = 0,001 ≤ 0,05). Besaraan sumbagan pengendalian empati terhadap perilaku bullying hanya sebesar 3,3% sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain yang tidak dijelaskan pada penulis pada penelitian ini. Kata kunci : Perilaku bullying, empati, dan tipe sekolah More years of bullying behavior is increasing both verbally, physically and psychologically. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there are differences in bullying behavior on single sex school type and coeducational schools after being controlled by empathy. The method used in this study is quantitative ancova test, with the scale of bullying behavior and empathy scale Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI) The number of subjects as much as 385 female santri with cluster random sampling technique.The results showed the differences in bullying behavior in the type of school single sex school And coeducational school after being controlled by empathy significance value of 0.001 (P ≤ 0.05 = 0.001 ≤ 0.05) . In addition, the contribution of empathy control to bullying behavior is only 3.3%. The rest is influenced by other factors not explained to the authors in this study.Keywords: Bullying behavior, empathy, and school type

Abstract

Abstrak. Instagram merupakan salah satu tempat untuk presentasi diri. Presentasi diri yang berlebihan di instagram dapat membentuk identitas berbeda antara di dunia nyata dan online. Ada berbagai strategi dalam presentasi diri di media sosial atau bisa disebut strategi presentasi diri. Presentasi diri pengguna instagram memiliki tujuan berbeda. Hipotesis penelitan ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan strategi presentasi diri pengguna instagram antara tipe kepribadian ekstrovert dan introvert. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 212 orang pengguna instagram berusia 18-24 tahun. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan teknik non-probality sampling khususnya accidental sampling. Variabel peneltian menggunakan skala Self-Presentation Strategies via SNS dan Eysenck Personality Inventory A. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan teknik independent t-test ada perbedaan strategi presentasi diri pengguna instagram ekstrovert dan introvert. Pengguna instagram tipe kepribadian ekstrovert memiliki rata-rata lebih tinggi di bandingkan introvert (ingratiation M=10,015, supplication M=5,636, dan enhancement M=10,88). Namun, pada strategi presentasi diri ingratiation dan supplication  tidak ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan.Kata kunci: Instagram, Strategi presentasi diri, Tipe kepribadian Abstract. Instagram as social media platform has many functions, one of which is for self-presentation. An excessive self-presentation on Instagram may result in the formation different identity between real life and online. There are various strategies in self-presentation on social media which can be referred as self-presentation strategy. The self-presentation on instagram has different purposes. This study aims at finding the different of self-presentation strategy between extrovert and introvert. There were 212 instagram users aged 18-24 years old as the subjects of the study. Sampling technique was the sampling non-probability technique, with particular of accidental sampling. The variable were measured using Self-Presentation Strategies scale via SNS and Eysenck Personality Inventory A. The calculation result which used the independent t-test showed there was a different in using self-presentation strategy between the extrovert and introvert. The extrovert users had relative higher average value than the introvert ones (Ingratiation M=10.015, Supplication M=5.636, and Enhancement M=10.88). Yet, there was no significant different in self-presentation strategy between ingratiation and supplication.Keywords : Instagram, Personality type, Self presentation strategies

Abstract

Abstrak. Kasus korupsi banyak terjadi di lembaga pemerintahan sehingga intensi korupsi berpotensi terjadi di lembaga intra kampus yang merupakan miniatur dari lembaga pemerintahan. Intensi korupsi merupakan niat untuk melakukan korupsi. Banyak dijumpai individu memiliki gaya hidup hedonis, termasuk mahasiswa. Gaya hidup hedonis merupakan pola hidup yang mengutamakan kesenangan semata. Ketika individu tidak memiliki cukup uang untuk menunjang gaya hidup hedonisnya maka ia akan memiliki intensi korupsi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui adakah hubungan gaya hidup hedonis dan intensi korupsi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang melibatkan 135 mahasiswa pengurus lembaga intra berusia 18-22 tahun. Pengambilan data menggunakan skala gaya hidup hedonis dan skala intensi korupsi yang dibuat sendiri oleh peneliti. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara gaya hidup hedonis dengan intensi korupsi pada mahasiswa pengurus lembaga intra. Semakin tinggi gaya hidup hedonis mahasiswa, akan semakin tinggi pula intensi korupsinya.Kata Kunci: Gaya hidup hedonis, intensi korupsi, mahasiswa pengurus lembaga intraAbstract. Many corruption cases occurred in government institutions so that intention of corruption have the potential to occur in intra-campus institutions that are miniatures of government institutions. The intention of corruption is the intention to commit corruption. Many individuals are found to have hedonic lifestyles, including students. Hedonic lifestyle is a lifestyle that prioritizes pleasure. When an individual does not have enough money to support his hedonic lifestyle he will have a intention of corruption. The purpose of this research is to know whether there is any relationship of hedonic lifestyle and intention of corruption. This research is a correlational quantitative research using puposive sampling technique involving 135 students of intra institution aged 18-22 years. Data is retrieved using hedonic lifestyle scale and intention of corruption scale by researchers. The data obtained were analyzed using product moment analysis. The results showed a significant positive correlation between hedonic lifestyles with intention of corruption on students of intra institution. The highly of hedonic lifestyle of students, could be highly of their intention of corruption.Keywords:  Hedonic lifestyle, intention of corruption, student of intra institution

Abstract

Teachers must be able to increase the standard of their student's education. Various innovations in improving the quality of learning can be done through Classroom Action Research. However, the facts show that the productivity of teachers at SMP 'Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang has not shown significant development. As part of efforts to improve the quality of student learning in class, many teachers have not been able to implement Classroom Action Research. Therefore, this service seeks to provide classroom action research training assistance to teachers of SMP 'Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah Malang. This service program is carried out in four structured activities, namely sharing, concept expository, training and mentoring, and writing research articles. Through the activities that have been carried out, it was found that the main cause of the absence of the research being conducted was motivation. Through psychological strengthening and intensive mentoring, supported by a strategy to develop worksheet instruments, can provide significant results. Teachers of SMP 'Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang can design and produce classroom action research.
