Abstract

Dictionary of medicine in the form of a thick book has many disadvantages, one of which is impractical. This is the reason for Indonesian developers to create drugs e-Dictionary. But the drugs e-Dictionary that has been developed is still in the form of a letter index so that users must search the terms one by one in sequential order. This has become so inefficient and ineffective that it is necessary to add a search function and query suggestion feature to the drug e-dictionary. The purpose of this study is to build a query suggestion facility on drugs e-Dictionary using the Levenshtein Distance algorithm. The stages of this research consist of the Development of web-based drugs e-Dictionary, Implementation of the Levenshtein Distance Algorithm, Query Suggestion Testing, and Usage. Based on the results of the implementation of the Levenshtein Distance algorithm and test results, Drugs e-Dictionary can evaluate words that are not in the database. The query suggestion function works by producing the closest word output contained in the database.

Abstract

Luka bakar adalah kerusakan jaringan yang disebabkan kontak dengan sumber panas. Daun pandan wangi mengandung senyawa saponin, flavonoid, alkaloid, tanin dan polifenol. Kandungan flavonoid dan tanin pada tumbuhan membantu mempercepat proses penyembuhan luka. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan salep daun pandan wangi efektif menyembuhkan luka pada tikus putih jantan. Gel merupakan sediaan semi padat transparan dengan kelebihan dalam hal daya sebar, bentuk sediaan dan efek dingin pada kulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan dosis yang paling efektif dari gel daun pandan wangi dalam menyembuhkan luka bakar pada tikus putih jantan galur Sprague dawley. Kelompok perlakuan terdiri dari formula 1 (gel daun pandan wangi 7,5%), formula 2 (10%), formula 3 (12,5%), kontrol positif (gel merk x) dan kontrol negatif (basis gel). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa gel daun pandan wangi dapat memberikan efek sebagai obat luka bakar, formula 3 dengan daun pandan wangi 12,5% menghasilkan presentase penyembuhan luka bakar yang paling efektif yaitu 99,33% dengan lama penyembuhan 16 hari.

Abstract

The Dictionary of Medicine in the form of a physical book has many drawbacks, one of them is its thickness makes it impractical to be carried. This becomes a motivation to develop drug dictionary applications in the form of a Drugs e-Dictionary. One of the developed Drugs e-Dictionary uses A-Z index-based approach to discover any drug terms. This approach is less effective and less efficient timewise. Therefore, it is necessary to add a search function that has an autocorrect feature to aid the user. The purpose of this study is to build a search module that has an autocorrect feature on Drugs e-Dictionary using the Levenshtein Distance algorithm. The methodology or the stages of this research divided into the construction of a search module on Drugs e-Dictionary, implementation of the Levenshtein Distance algorithm, and autocorrect validation test. The results of the algorithm implementation show that the search module with the autocorrect feature can detect typing errors in the inputted terms by producing the closest drug term output in the database, then automatically provide suggestions for improvement and display the results of the improved drug terms to the user. it reaches 90% accuracy of inputted query, with 90% precision and 90% recall.

Abstract

Background: Diarrhea is characterized by an increase in the frequency of bowel movements more than three times a day. This disease has a fairly high incidence rate in Indonesia, especially in children. One of the causes of diarrhea is a bacterial infection, therefore it needs to be treated with antibiotics. Several studies show that there are still many antibiotics that are used irrationally. It is necessary to analyze the rationality of the use of antibiotics in pediatric patients with diarrhea using the Gyssens method Objectives: This study is to ascertain the profile of acute diarrhea pediatric patients characteristic and evaluate antibiotics rationality with Gyssens method. Moreover, the purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the rationality of the use of antibiotics in the inpatient pediatric acute diarrhea installation of Fatmawati Hospital 2018-2019 period. Material and Methods: This study is descriptive observational research. The study design was cross-sectional with retrospective data collection which was analysed then qualitatively with the Gyssens flow method Results: The result showed 54,29% antibiotics usde appropriately and rational. The irrational use of antibiotics was 45.7%. The results of statistical analysis with chi-square show a significant relationship between the rationality of antibiotics and the type of antibiotic (ρ = 0.000 < 0.05) and multiple logistic regression analysis showed that the route of drug administration (ρ = 0.000 < 0.05) affected the rationality of antibiotics use. Conclusions: Less than 50% of the patients received irrational treatment according to the Gyssen flow chart and according to the results of statistical analysis, the type of antibiotic and the route of drug administration affected the rationality of antibiotics.

Abstract

Sedation can be defined as the use of sedative medication to relieve intolerable and refractory distress by reducing patient consciousness. Sedation can cause mild depression in the central nervous system without loss of consciousness and calming effect and prevent seizures. Cherry is a plant with sedative potential effect, contain melatonin as a flavonoid compound. This study aims to determine sedative effect, effective dose, and sleep duration in white mice male after cherry juice administration. The rotarod test was conducted to determine the resistance time of tested mice on a rotating rod. The observed parameter was the length of the time the mice running on a rotating rod at a speed of 28 rpm. Cherry juice was prepared using a juicer and then filtered with muslin cloth and dried with vacuum dryer.  Cherry juice was prepared in 3 doses, they were treatment dose 1, 2, and 3 with cherry juice of 8.3, 16.6, and 25 mg/20gBW, respectively. Aquadest was used as negative control (0.5 ml/ mice), while phenobarbital was the positive control at a dose of 0.8 mg/ 20gBW). The results showed that treatment dose 3 containing 25 mg/20gBW) cherry juice was the most effective dose with the fastest falling effect (13.41 second) on rotarod and the longest duration of sleep time (45.92 minute).

Abstract

Pain is an unpleasant sensation and can be felt as sore sensation. This can be caused by mechanical, chemical or physical stimulation that could cause damage to the tissueand trigger the release of certain substances called pain mediators, such as histamine, bradykinin, leukotrienes and prostaglandins. Pain overcome by giving analgesic drugs. This study aims to determine the effectivity and effective duration of bitter melon (Momordica charantia L.) leaf extract as analgesic in mice (Mus musculus). The test method used in this study is the Hot plate method. This study was divided into 5 treatment groups animals with 5 experimental animals in each group. Animal treatment of this study consist of a negative control group using CMC-Na (0.5%), a positive control group using Paracetamol, a suspension group of pare leaf ethanol extract with a dose of 0.212mg / 20gBW. , the ethanol extract suspension group of bitter melon leaves with a dose of 0.423mg / 20gBW, the suspension group of ethanol extract of pare leaves with a dose of 0.635mg / 20gBW. The results of this study indicate that the ethanol extract of 96% bitter melon leaves has activity as an analgesic in mice with the best dose of 0.635mg / 20gBW and the highest duration of analgesic activity was in 40 minutes, these activity was the closest result to positive control of paracetamol in mice.

Abstract

Anemia dan tekanan darah tinggi menjadi salah satu penyakit penyerta selama kehamilan yang dapat meningkatkan resiko angka kematian ibu dan anak (AKI) dan setelah melahirkan penyakit tersebut memiliki prevalensi untuk tetap muncul pada beberapa ibu. Kedua penyakit penyerta tersebut dapat dicegah dan ditangani dengan konsumsi vitamin maupun obat secara teratur dan dengan melakukan pola hidup sehat. Salah satu gambaran pola hidup Ibu hamil di kelurahan Pakansari adalah cenderung memilih makanan dan minuman tanpa mempertimbangkan nilai gizi dan manfaatnya. Pola makan dan minum tersebut dapat memperburuk kondisi serta memicu timbulnya penyakit penyerta selama kehamilan. Tujuannya adalah untuk memberikan edukasi kepada ibu hamil mengenai manfaat buah untuk ibu hamil dan melakukan demo pembuatan makanan dan minuman berbahan dasar buah. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: melakukan observasi, memilih obyek pengabdian, mengumpulkan data obyek pengabdian, mengisi kesediaan mengikuti kegiatan pemeriksaan dini dan penyuluhan dengan mengisi kuisioner, melaksanakan kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelayanan kesehatan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai manfaat buah masih sangat kurang, kurangnya pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai manfaat buah-buahan ini dapat menjadi penyebab hanya sekitar 50% ibu hamil yang mengkonsumsi buah setiap hari dan pengetahuan tentang pengolahan buah masih sangat kurang berdasarkan hasil data kuisioner 85% mengkonsumsi buah dengan cara dimakan langsung.

Abstract

Imunostimulan berhubungan dengan peningkatan sistem imun tubuh secara non spesifik maupun spesifik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan dosis efektif ramuan ekstrak rempah sebagai imunostimulan terhadap aktivitas fagositosis berdasarkan metode bersihan karbon dan bobot relatif organ limfoid. Hewan coba yang digunakan adalah tikus putih jantan galur Sprague dawley sebanyak 24 ekor (6 kelompok, 4 ulangan). Kelompok pertama kontrol negatif Na-CMC 0,5%. Kelompok kedua kontrol positif Stimuno® Forte (1,26 mg/200 g BB tikus). Kelompok ketiga (dosis I (60,12 mg/200 g BB tikus)), keempat (dosis II (120,24 mg/200 g BB tikus)), dan kelima (dosis III (180 mg/200 g BB tikus)) adalah ramuan ekstrak 7 rempah. Kelompok keenam (dosis IV (tunggal) (56 mg/200 g BB tikus)) adalah ekstrak buah cabe jawa. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa dosis III paling efektif sebagai imunostimulan karena nilainya mendekati kontrol positif, tidak berbeda nyata, juga mendapati hasil angka terbesar (jika dibandingkan kelompok I, II, dan IV), berdasarkan metode bersihan karbon (indeks fagositosis = 2,789) dan bobot relatif organ limfoid (hati = 3,954%; limpa = 0,466%; kelenjar timus = 0,167%).
