Abstract

Longan plants (Dimocarpus logan L.) are generally used by the community only for their fruit. Longan leaves contain secondary metabolites such as flavonoids, polyphenols, saponins, and tannins. Flavonoids are polyphenolic compounds and have antioxidant properties that are not heat-resistant, therefore a suitable method is needed for extracting flavonoids, especially methods that do not use heat. Maceration extraction method is an extraction method by immersing simplicia at room temperature, while the Microwave Assisted Extraction (MAE) extraction method is an extraction method using microwave radiation. The study aims to determine the most effective method for flavonoid content of longan leaves using 2 extraction methods, namely maceration and MAE. Determination of flavonoid content was done using Aluminium chloride reagent whose absoption was measured using UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The results showed that the best extraction method to produce the highest flavonoid content in 70% ethanol extract of longan leaves was the Microwace Assisted Extraction method which produced flavonoid levels of 1.32 ± 0,09%.

Abstract

One of the impacts of PLTU development is air pollution. The study aims to analyze the average and identify changes in air quality in 2013 (before the power plant operates) and 2020 (after the power plant operates) in Bungus Teluk Kabung District by descriptive quantitative.analysis. Changes in air quality were analyzed by Landsat 8 satellite images in 2013 and 2020 with parameters were PM10, SO2 and NOx.The average value of the parameter is calculated based on the air quality algorithm, and to measure changes in air quality standards apply ISPU. The results showed an average improvement in all air quality parameters. Based on the ISPU distribution of PM10 values increased by 1 μg/m³, in 2013 the average value (1.9 μg/m³), in 2020 it became (2.9 μg/m³), included in the good category. SO2 values in the medium category with an increase of 0.7 ρρm, in 2013 (63.3 ρρm) and in 2020 (64 ρρm). NOx is in the unhealthy category with an increase of 0.1 μg/m³, in 2013 (173.5 μg/m³) and in 2020 (173.6 μg/m³). The results of the wilcoxon difference test showed that all air quality parameters had a significant value of < 0.05, meaning that there was a significant difference in air quality before and after the power plant was built. The PLTU is expected to immediately minimize the smoke produced by burning coal using Clean Coal Technology.

Abstract

Jaminan Sosial adalah bentuk perlindungan sosial untuk menjamin seluruh rakyat agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dasar hidupnya yang layak. Sedangkan perlindungan terhadap kesehatan yang dijamin oleh pemerintah untuk setiap warga negara adalah Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) yang diselenggerakan oleh BPJS Kesehatan. Dengan demikian, Negara berkewajiban melayani setiap warga negara dan penduduk untuk memenuhi hak dan kebutuhan dasarnya dalam kerangka pelayanan publik.Tidak terlepas bagi warga binaan pemasyarakatan, pemerintah harus memperhatikan pemenuhan hak-hak warga binaan pemasyarakatan. Kegiatan pengabmas ini bertujuan untuk sosialisasi manfaat kepersertaan JKN di kepada warga binaan pemasyarakatan (WBP). Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dengan evaluasi dan monitoring hasil sosialisasi. Hasil kegiatan berupa peningkatan pengetahuan WBP sebelum dilakukan sosialisasi dengan skor rata-rata pengetahuan 7,652 sedangkan setelah dilakukan meningkat menjadi 19,04. Diharapkan rumah tahanan dapat memfasilitasi WBP dalam mengaktifkan kepesertaan JKN dan dapat memanfaatkan fasilitasnya

Abstract

Luka bakar adalah kerusakan jaringan yang disebabkan kontak dengan sumber panas. Daun pandan wangi mengandung senyawa saponin, flavonoid, alkaloid, tanin dan polifenol. Kandungan flavonoid dan tanin pada tumbuhan membantu mempercepat proses penyembuhan luka. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan salep daun pandan wangi efektif menyembuhkan luka pada tikus putih jantan. Gel merupakan sediaan semi padat transparan dengan kelebihan dalam hal daya sebar, bentuk sediaan dan efek dingin pada kulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan dosis yang paling efektif dari gel daun pandan wangi dalam menyembuhkan luka bakar pada tikus putih jantan galur Sprague dawley. Kelompok perlakuan terdiri dari formula 1 (gel daun pandan wangi 7,5%), formula 2 (10%), formula 3 (12,5%), kontrol positif (gel merk x) dan kontrol negatif (basis gel). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa gel daun pandan wangi dapat memberikan efek sebagai obat luka bakar, formula 3 dengan daun pandan wangi 12,5% menghasilkan presentase penyembuhan luka bakar yang paling efektif yaitu 99,33% dengan lama penyembuhan 16 hari.
