Abstract

Many elementary school students have a very low understanding of their concepts, this is because students do not absorb learning well, one of the factors is the lack of learning media. Therefore, it is necessary to use more interactive learning media such as animated video media. This study aims to determine the effect of animated video media on students' understanding of science concepts. This research was conducted at SDN Kebon Besar 1 with the method used in this study, namely quantitative experiments (Quasi Experiments). The population used in this study were all grade IV totaling 56 students, students were divided into 2 groups, class IV A as the Control class using conventional learning methods and class IV B as the experimental class using animated videos. The data collection technique was in the form of a test (pretest-posttest). This is based on the results of the hypothesis test carried out by testing the t-test on the posttest test with a significance level < (α = 0.05). To strengthen the results, the t-count value is known to be (7.537) with Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that animated video media has an influence on students' understanding of science concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain what are the types of student learning difficulties in grades 2 summation material at SDN Keboncau IV, this research uses a qualitative approach and a qualitative description research method. Subjects in this study were grade 2 students, totatling 5 students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and tests in the form of essays totaling 5 questions. The addition material test is used to strengthen students’ answers regarding their understanding of the addition material. It can be concluded that the dominant difficulties occur in grade 2 at SDN Keboncau IV, namely difficulties in arithmetic, difficulties in connecting concepts with existing reality, and difficulties in solving addition problems in the form of stories.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that requires high critical thinking skills to be able to understand problems. Especially for working on questions in story form. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the critical thinking abilities of class 5D students in interpreting mathematics story problems on block volume material. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this research were 15 students in class 5D at SDN Sukaasih 1. Data collection techniques use tests, interviews and documentation. from test results, interviews, and documentation. This research data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that out of a total of 15 students, 2 students had high critical thinking abilities, 2 students had moderate critical thinking abilities, and 11 students had low critical thinking abilities. Based on the research results, the researcher concluded that the critical thinking abilities of class 5D students at SDN Sukaasih 1 were in the low category. Therefore, the critical thinking skills of class 5D students at SDN Sukaasih 1 still need further training so that they can be improved.

Abstract

IPA merupakan rumpun ilmu, karakteristik khusus yang mempelajari fenomena alam yang faktual (factual), baik berupa kenyataan (reality), atau kejadian (event) dan hubungan sebab akibatnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman konsep siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas IV SDN Panunggangan 4 Pinang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskripsi dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa Observasi, Tes, dan Wawancara. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Data dianalisis melalui langkah-langkah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 6 orang yakni siswa kelas IV. Hasil kesimpulan dari penelitian melalui observasi, tes, dan wawancara dalam penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dapat memahami pembelajaran IPA sesuai dengan tujuh indikator pemahaman konsep yaitu : 1) Menyatakan ulang konsep, 2) Mengklasifikasikan objek-objek menurut sifat-sifat tertentu (sesuai dengan konsepnya), 3)Memberikan contoh dan non-contoh dari konsep, 4) Menyajikan konsep dalam berbagai bentuk representasi, 5) Mengembangkan syarat perlu atau syarat cukup suatu konsep, 6) Menggunakan, memanfaatkan, dan memilih prosedur atau operasi tertentu, 7) Mengaplikasikan konsep atau algoritma pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

This research is to determine the Understanding of Science Concepts between students who are given a take and give learning model and students who are given a problem solving learning model. This study uses a quasi experimental methodology. The subject population in this study were all students of class IV SDN Bojongrenged 1 Tangerang Regency consisting of 40 students, class IVA consisting of 20 students as experimental class 1 and class IVB consisting of 20 students as experimental class 2. Data collection techniques in this study using a test instrument. The results of this study are that there are significant differences in the take and give learning model and the problem solving model of understanding concepts in science subjects in SDN Bojongrenged 1 Tangerang Regency. This is evidenced in the results of hypothesis testing conducted in two different classes. The results obtained at posttest of tcount data = 1.091 <ttable = 2.093.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is intended to be studied find out the mistakes made by students of of grade V SDN Doyong 2 Kota Tangerang in solving the material problem of geometry and flat wandering around in terms of concept errors, strategy errors, algorithmic errors, calculation errors, and random error; know the factors that cause errors in working on math problems and widescreen flat. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach with research subjects covering 38 students of grade V SDN Negeri Doyong 2 Tangerang. Data collection techniques used are the results of students' daily test, observation, interview, and documentation. The research instruments used are daily test results, observation guides, interview guides, and document studies. Data analysis techniques used are Miles and Huberman models. The results showed that the students who experienced the most error is the random error indicator that is 39.74%. The second most mistake is the concept error of 19.47%. The third mistake is a strategy error of 9.47%. The fourth error is the algorithm error of 8.68%. The fifth error is the error in the counting operation that is equal to 7.90%. Factors that cause errors in working on the problem area and around the wake flat. The problem-solving recommendations are the need for special teaching as enrichment and healing, using and creating innovative and creative teaching methods, and providing practice. Keywords: Error analysis, Geometry Problem, Elementary School Student ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa kelas V SDN Doyong 2 Kota Tangerang dalam menyelesaikan soal materi geometri luas dan keliling bangun datar ditinjau dari jenis kesalahan konsep, kesalahan strategi, kesalahan algoritma, kesalahan operasi hitung, dan kesalahan acak; mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesalahan dalam mengerjakan soal matematika luas dan keliling bangun datar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian meliputi 38 siswa kelas V SDN Negeri Doyong 2 Tangerang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu hasil tes ulangan harian siswa, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu hasil tes ulangan harian, pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang paling banyak mengalami kesalahan adalah pada indikator kesalahan acak yaitu 39,74%. Kesalahan terbanyak kedua adalah kesalahan konsep sebesar 19,47%. Kesalahan terbanyak ketiga adalah kesalahan strategi yaitu sebesar 9,47%. Kesalahan terbanyak keempat adalah kesalahan algoritma yaitu sebesar 8,68%. Kesalahan terbanyak kelima adalah kesalahan dalam operasi hitung yaitu sebesar 7,90%. Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesalahan dalam mengerjakan soal luas dan keliling bangun datar. Rekomendasi pemecahan masalahnya adalah perlunya pengajaran khusus sebagai pengayaan dan penyembuhan, menggunakan dan menciptkan metode mengajar yang inovatif dan kreatif, serta memberikan latihan. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) dengan siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada siswa kelas V SDN Jati V Kota Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif quasi eksperimen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengunakan instrumen tes hasil belajar matematika berbentuk uraian (essay). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum proses belajar mengajar di SDN Jati V Kota Tangerang telah berjalan lancar. Penggunaan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) dengan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam proses belajar mengajar menekankan pada kegiatan menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan dan pengalaman siswa secara kehidupan nyata sehari-hari.
