Abstract

This action research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycles consist of four steps as follows: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of the research is the eighth year students. The data was possessed by observation and questionnaire. The technique of analysis the data was analyzed by descriptive quantitative analysis technique. The action is succeeded whether it meets a demand of successful indicator target as follow: minimum 50% on each subjects and the subjects have some changes into be more diligent in doing and collecting the school task given by the teacher. The result of the study indicates that on the cycle 1 occurs the reduction of academic procrastination on the students in 26,05% and significan reduction on cycle II is  51,42%. Based on the result of hypothesis, it is found out that there os reduction of academic procrastination on the students before and after giving action of role playing. The case can be concluded that role playing is effective to settle academic procrastination on the eighth year students Junior High School in Klaten.

Abstract

This study was a guidance and counseling action research (GCAR). This study was conducted in two cycles, each of cycles consisting of planning, acting, observating and reflecting. Source of data comes from students. Technique of collecting data used was an observation an academic questionaire on the finding in the field. The data validation was conducted using data triangulation and expert metode. The data analysis employed precentage analysis technique and clinical. The research procedure used Kemmis and MC Taggart?s model. The result of research showed that the average pretest value of 75,92. Posttest siclus I showed average value os 88,17 and increasing precentage about 16,12 % was said not significant. The result of action in cycle II showed significant degression of 120,08 and increased of 58,36 % with showed significant value.

Abstract

This research aimed to known the effectivity of self monitoring technique to improving discipline towards of rule in junior high school students. This research used quasi experiment design. The subject of this research was student of  VIII graders of junior high school who have low discipline in the school. The subject obtained was 34 students that divided into experimental and control group. The experimental group was given self monitoring technique to improving discipline towards of rule in school. Techniques of collecting data used  questionnaire of discipline of rule in school. The analysis of data used quantitative analysis and clinical analysis. The research result obtained was tested with Mann Whitney U shown the value of Asymp sig on postest was 0,004 (0,004 < 0,005). The result shown thre any differences skor postest between eksperimental and control group. From result of experiment can be known there are improving discipline towards of rule in school at experimental group after treatment was given is self monitoring. It could be concluded that self monitoring techniques effectively can be used to improve discipline of rule in the  VIII graders of SMP.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efektivitas teknik self monitoring dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa terhadap tata tertib pada siswa SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental Design). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP yang memiliki kedisiplinan tata tertib sekolah rendah. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 34 orang yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen diberikan treatment teknik self monitoring untuk meningkatkan disiplin tata tertib sekolah. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data menggunakan angket kedisiplinan tata tertib sekolah. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis klinis dan analisis kuantitatif dengan uji Mann Whitney U dan uji Wilcoxon.Hasil analisis dengan uji Mann Whitney U menunjukkan nilai asymp sig pada postest sebesar 0,004 (0,004<0,05). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan skor postest antara kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol setelah diberikan treatment teknik self monitoring. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik self monitoring efektif untuk meningkatkan disiplin tata tertib sekolah pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMP.

Abstract

This research was surveys research. The participant were eighth grade Junior High School, which consisted of 105 students. The technique of collecting data that was used was questionnaire about students? self-adjustment adequacy and peer?social support. The technique of analyzing the data used for the first and second hypothesis was t-test one side (One Tail Test) with left tail test. Furthermore, simple regression linear technique with SPSS 16 was used to analyze the third hypothesis. The results indicate of this study that: (1) the students? self adjustment adequacy  belong  to  the  medium category, the results of the calculation indicate t count> t table is 4.379> 1.98. (2) the peers? social support those a belong to the high category, the result of the calculation indicate tcount <t table is 0.473 <1.98. (3) contribution of peers? social support to the students? self adjustment adequacy is 35,4 %, obtained from the results of the calculation of R square of 0,354.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to test the effectiveness of role playing tecnique to improvement of student?s interpersonal intelligence  of the seven grade junior high school students. This research was Quasi Experimental Design. The subject of this research are the who have low intepersonal intelligence. The subject obtained 82 students that devide into experimental group and control group. Instrument that is used is quotionaire of interpersonal intelligence for pretest and posttest. The analysis of the data in this research used quantitative analysis with t-test and clinical analysis. The result of the analysis showed that the result of T-test is 2,281, with significance value 0,006 if it is compared with ttable (df = 80, sig 0,05, t = 2,000) so tcount >ttable and significance value <0,05. Based from the research result knew that value of experimental group increase after role playing treatment was given. It shows that role playing is effective to increasing student?s interpersonal intelligence .Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji keefektifan teknik role playing untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental Design). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP yang memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal rendah. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 82 siswa yang terbagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, 41 siswa untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 41 siswa untuk kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket kecerdasan interpersonal untuk melaksanakan pretest dan posttest. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kuantitatif t-test dan analisis klinis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan  bahwa hasil uji t-test sebesar 2,281 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,006 jika dibandingkan ttabel (df = 80, sig 0,05, t = 2,000) maka thitung > ttabel dan taraf signifikansi <0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa ada peningkatan kecerdasan interpersonal pada kelompok eksperimen sesudah diberi treatment berupa role playing. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa role playing efektif untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal.

Abstract

This research was Quasi Experimental Design. The subject of this research werethe students of eighth grade of Junior High School who have low emotional intelligence. Those subject got by the value of Q1 and divided into two groups, control group and experiment group which each group composed of 31 students which choosen proportinately according to pretest score. The result of the research show the result of T-count 3,141 with p vale 0,03. So, it can be concluded that there were significant difference between experiment group that accept role playing treatment, with control group that don?t accept role playing treatment.

Abstract

The research was guidance and counseling action research with two cycles. Each cycle consist of planning, action, observation, analysis and reflection. The subject were fifteen students. This  study  used  quantitative  analysis  and  clinical analysis. The results showed that pretest score of 61.60, in the first cycle increased to 75.26 (22.01%) and a significant increase, then in the second cycle increased to 94.47 (53.31%). Based on the results of testing the hypothesis, it is known that there is an increase in emotional stability before and after the treatment was given in the form of psychodrama. It shows that psychodrama is effective for improving participant?s emotional stability.

Abstract

The aim of the research were to know the effectiveness sociodrama technique to improve interpersonal communication ability of the seventh grade Junior High School students. This research was an experimental research which used Treatment by Subject Design. The subject of the research was the seventh grade students of Junior High School in Magetan which  consist  32  students.  The source  of the data was  premier data the students, the Technique of collecting data was interpersonal communication questionnaire. The result of hypotheses test used Paired-Sample T-test showed that tcount = 26,70 and ttable=1,695, so tcount > ttable (26, 70 > 1,695). Based on the result of the calculation above, the data was significant. It means there were differences between the mean score of interpersonal communication questionnaire before treatment and the mean score after treatment. Based on the research, it can be concluded that sociodrama technique is effective  to  improve  interpersonal communication  ability.
