<![CDATA[Abstrak: Kematian ibu di Indonesia sebesar 42% disebabkan oleh perdarahan 13% eklamsia 11%,infeksi 10% karena keterlambatan persalinan dan 15% karena sebab lain. Infeksi pada ibu dapat terjadi sebelum, selama, atau setelah kelahiran ketuban pecah dini mayoritas disebabkan oleh infeksi intranatal (sampai 65%). Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk Meningkatkan pengetahuan kader tentang pencegahan ketuban pecah dini dan keterampilan tentang pemeriksaan gigi. Mitra kami dalam upaya ini adalah 20 pengurus Posyandu Desa Karenna Bontongape. Metode sosialisasinya adalah ceramah dan diskusi. Skrining ini menggunakan simulasi melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan observasi langsung terhadap kemampuan peserta dalam merespon temuan ketuban pecah dini. Kuesioner untuk menilai pengetahuan peserta terdiri dari 12 pertanyaan. Keterampilan akan dievaluasi melalui simulasi langsung oleh kader di bawah bimbingan dokter gigi. Parameter suksesnya kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta mengenai ketuban pecah dini. Nilai pretest peserta sebagian besar berada pada kategori rendah (75%). Hasil post-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan, dengan rata-rata nilai peserta berada pada kategori tinggi (85%). Untuk keterampilan 20 peserta (85%) terampil dalam pemeriksaan gigi ibu hamil.Abstract: Maternal mortality in Indonesia is 42% caused by bleeding 13% eclampsia 11%, infection 10% due to delayed labor and 15% due to other causes.
