Abstract

Information system security within XYZ University constitutes a vital component of its IT framework, exerting significant influence over security levels across all facets of the information systems. Among the numerous implemented information system services at the university, a considerable portion lacks active security measures within operational systems. In pursuit of achieving uniform governance, this study adopts the most recent COBIT 2019 framework. The primary objective of this research is to evaluate the degree to which current information system security management aligns with the process achievement values stipulated in the COBIT 2019 standard. This evaluation entails the calculation of maturity level values that gauge performance levels in managing information system security. Findings from the COBIT 2019 Design assessment conducted at XYZ University's LTIK reveal that individuals scoring above 80 or those requiring Capability Level 4 include APO12 and BAI10. Moreover, the calculation outcomes for each subdomain reveal the presence of 2 subdomains at Level 4, 4 subdomains at Level 3, 15 subdomains at Level 2, and 19 subdomains at Level 1. The identification outcomes underscore the existence of gaps within each domain. Particularly, the APO12 and BAI10 domains exhibit a gap spanning 2 levels.

Abstract

The increasing use of digital technology has encouraged government agencies to provide public services online. In this context, creating a website for the Department of Housing, Settlement Areas and Land (Perkim) is important to facilitate access to information and services related to housing, settlements and land for the community. This article aims to explain the process of creating a Perkim Service website and strategies that can be used to optimize digital public services.First, we discuss the importance of the Perkim Department website as a means of increasing transparency, accessibility and efficiency in the provision of information and services to the public. Next, we discuss the technical steps in creating a website, including platform selection, intuitive user interface design, and integration of important features such as property search, online registration, and problem reporting. In addition, we highlight the importance of information security and data privacy in the development of the Department of Perkim website.Next, this article explores strategies to increase public adoption and use of the Dinas Perkim website, including outreach campaigns, user training, and user feedback. We also discuss the importance of regular website maintenance and updates to maintain the quality of the services provided.Through this discussion, it is hoped that readers will gain a better understanding of the importance of creating a Perkim Service website and strategies for optimizing digital public services in the housing, settlement and land sectors.

Abstract

A product provider must make the right decisions in predicting the amount of new stock that will be distributed to stalls. Sales of lifebuoy soap in Neighbourhood OF 5 and 6 experienced a difference in the number of sales each month. This of course will make it difficult for the supplier of goods to know the exact number of products that must be stocked. To be able to overcome this and increase the realization of sales from each stall, it is necessary to have a fast and appropriate prediction process that can overcome problems in determining the amount of distribution of new stock. The method used is the Fuzzy Tsukamoto method and is written in the PHP programming language. Where this method is chosen because it is a method of counting with variable words, instead of counting with numbers, human expert systems can be implemented into machine language easily and efficiently. Identification of user needs is needed in the design to determine what features can be used in the system and use story boards to get an overview of the system. System testing using black box by testing all buttons on the application. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that this system helps simplify and shorten the time in determining the amount of fulfillment of new stock requests

Abstract

Academic activities are daily operational activities that occur in an educational institution, especially in universities. Academic activities must be carried out by students and lecturers. Within the scope of academic activities at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu, the media used to convey information on the current academic schedule no longer uses bulletin boards but uses social media, namely whatsapp. Although academic activities are routine, it is still common for students and lecturers to forget the schedule of academic activities. To overcome this, the Faculty of Engineering requires a personal digital assistant application (virtual assistant) as an accurate, efficient and portable reminder. The virtual assistant application that is built consists of two platforms. First, the mobile platform used by lecturers and students to view some academic agenda information and receive real-time information/announcements and notifications/alarms related to academic activities. Second, the web platform used by the Administration to broadcast announcements or invitations to mobile application users. Based on the test results, the virtual assistant application can run on two platforms.

Abstract

The development of technology is currently growing very rapidly which allows us to access various kinds of data and information, but there are lots of people who abuse this ability, for example phishing activities that often target data and information owned by individuals and companies. Loss of data and information is very detrimental to individuals and companies, where the data and information can be used as a tool for extortion, used as a fraud tool and even the information can be traded. The main reason for the importance of maintaining the security of information is to protect information from online crimes. One of the techniques designed to protect important and confidential information is a cryptographic technique using the Blowfish algorithm and also a QR Code which functions as second line security. where data and information that has been converted into a QR Code cannot be changed. The purpose of this study is to apply the Blowfish Algorithm for Encryption and Decryption of the QR Code into an android-based application system. The results of this study are: The blowfish algorithm can be implemented into an android-based application. Plaintext which is converted into ciphertext using the blowfish algorithm can be used as a QR Code using a QR Code generator. A QR code is up to 7089 numeric digits and 4296 alphanumeric characters. The amount of information will affect the QR Code module, so the symbols in the QR Code will become more complicated. This application has received an assessment from respondents from users with an average value (6.5) with the category of choice "agree".

Abstract

This study is entitled the implementation of the a* (a-star) algorithm for website-based search of tourism sites in the city of Bengkulu. The main problem ishow to build an information system search for the nearest tourism location in the city of Bengkulu. Information Systems search for this tourism locationusing the a* (a-star) algorithm method and this information system also displays information about existing tours. The a* (a-star) algorithm method was chosen because this method determines the shortest path between the starting and ending points of an existing tour. Based on the results of the discussionThe A-star algorithm is considered more effective in finding the shortest route. This is proven by testing the shortest route randomly and thoroughly 15 times for all tourist destinations. The results show that the routes generated on average are more effective and shorter than the routes generated on Google Maps.

Abstract

Many web-based applications/forms serve as online data entry devices equipped with facilities for uploading image data. When uploading image data, the image file is often incompatible or cannot be uploaded because the size is too large. Users have to resize those files separately. For example, with several compression applications used such as photoshop, gimp, photoscape, photo compressor, image size and many other compression applications. Web-based applications should be able to automatically resize the file according to the appropriate file size so that it can save time and speed up the process. To deal with the problem of automatic compression, the user must provide or build a web-based application that can directly compress files on the web because automatic file or image compression is available on the website without compressing them separately beforehand. With this automatic compression form application, it certainly reduces costs. (quota) internet, shortening time and also making it easier for users or users when uploading files on the web. The algorithm that is suitable for resizing files in online web applications is the hufman algorithm.

Abstract

Based on data from the PP Muhammadiyah Research and Development Council, there are 62 Muhammadiyah Universities spread throughout Indonesia. Of the many Muhammadiyah Universities it would be very easy if there was a system that could display information and the location of the university in the form of a map. GIS is a computer information system used to process georeferenced spatial data (in the form of details, facts, conditions, etc.) stored in a database. By implementing the Muhammadiyah University Geographic Information System, it is hoped that it can help users in obtaining spatial and non-spatial information about Muhammadiyah University which is spread throughout Indonesia. The system must consist of input and output, therefore the application built consists of an admin section as input and a user as output. The admin application is used to process Muhammadiyah University location data which was built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The user application is used for implementing GIS on mapping Muhammadiyah University in Indonesia which runs on the Android operating system and is built using Android Studio with the Java and XML programming languages. The application can display a list of Muhammadiyah University locations in Indonesia in the form of a map and an ordered list. Utilization of google map in the application is to display a map which uses the google map api and displays the route from the user's location to the selected university.

Abstract

The election of the chairman and deputy chairman of the OSIS is held every year by all schools including SMPN 10 Bengkulu Selatan. The election was carried out conventionally where this activity required quite a lot of money and energy as well as quite long teaching and learning hours which were cut to carry out the election of the OSIS chairman. Apart from that, there is the potential for fraud, human error, operational inefficiencies from the start to the end of the election, and non-real-time monitoring which are shortcomings of conventional voting systems. To answer this problem, research is proposed which aims to build a web-based e-voting system for the election of OSIS chairman at SMPN 10 Bengkulu Selatan. The software development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD). The method emphasizes rapid and incremental prototyping.

Abstract

ABSTRACT : Pregnancy process becomes the center of special for families who are waiting for the presence of a loved child. Therefore, pregnant women often checj with the obstetrician to determine the development of fetus in the womb. The problem occurs mother who for prenatal check-ups are only given the fetus underweight. Determining the start of pregnancy and gestational age is important to be able to know within the progress of pregnancy. One of the ways to determine gestational age by knowing the first day of the last menstrual period (LMP). With the naegele method, tjis calculation can also be used to calculate the estimated day of birth. As an easy way to estimate the weight of the fetus is to measure the height of the uterine fundus (TFU). Therefore, based on the problems above, an android-based pregnancy calendar and calculation application of gestational age were made by using the Naegele algorithm. The pregnancy calendar and calculation application of gestational age are designed to make it easier for pregnant women to find out the estimated day or birth. The gestational age and normal fetal weight according to gestational age on an android smartphone. Keywords: Naegele, HPHT, estimated birth, gestational age, fetal weight.
