Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to identify the effectiveness of discovery learning methods based on edutainment, specifically using the Zenius application, to enhance student motivation in learning business and energy concepts. Methodology: This qualitative research employs a literature study approach, with sources obtained from books, journals, and other relevant materials. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model. Main Findings: The literature study revealed that the edutainment-based discovery learning method, exemplified by the Zenius application, significantly enhances students’ understanding of business and energy topics. This research aims to provide readers with valuable insights into the benefits of edutainment-based discovery learning methods like Zenius. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study contributes new knowledge by demonstrating the potential of edutainment-based discovery learning methods to improve student engagement and comprehension in business and energy subjects. It advances existing knowledge by highlighting the practical application of the Zenius platform in educational settings, offering a novel approach to integrating technology and learning.

Abstract

This article presents research on inquiry-based e-modules for science process skills. This lab module is made with stages of development, implementation and evaluation adopted from branch. The purpose of this study is to determine the science process skills and perceptions of Jambi University physics education students after using basic physics e-module based on science process skills with inquiry models that use 3D pageflip application software. The results show that students who have used electronic modules have a better perception of electronic modules than ordinary modules they use, this is reinforced by the presence of a significant difference between students who use e-modules and those who do not, students are more interested in using electronic modules because it is easy carried anywhere and can be used anywhere.

Abstract

Sikap merupakan bentuk persepsi seseorang terhadap suatu objek yang di gambarkan dengan ekspresi suka ataupun tidak. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan sikap siswa terhadap tiga indikator sikap di SMPN 10 Muaro Jambi. Metode Penelitian menggunakan Penelitian kuantitatif survey. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket dan juga wawancara. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 117 siswa SMP 10 Muaro Jambi dengna rincian laki-laki sebanyak 42 siswa dan perempuan 75 siswa. Hasil penelitaian menunjukkan bahwa pada sikap yang dimiliki oleh siswa dominan pada kategori baik. Sikap terhadap penyelidikan dalam sains (IPA) menunjukkan kategori baik dengan pesentase kategori 41.1% (48 siswa dari total 117 siswa). Kesenangan terhadap pembelajaran IPA berkategori baik dengan persentase 48.7% (57 siswa dari total 117 siswa). Ketertarikan memperbanyak waktu belajar sains (IPA) berkategori baik dengan persentase kategori sebesar 41,9% (49 siswa dari total 117 siswa).

Abstract

Sikap sangat penting pada pembelajaran abad 21 sekarang, oleh karena itu, penelitini memeiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara motivasi dan sikap siswa pada pelajaran fisika di sekolah menengah atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan korelasional, sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 97 siswa yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini adalah sikap yang dimiliki siswa sekolah menengah atas memiliki kategori baik dan begitu pula motivasi yang dimiliki oleh siswa tersebut, hal ini diperkut dengan hasil korelasi yang telah didapatkan yaitu sebesar 0.697 dan memiliki hubungan yang positif.

Abstract

This study purposed to investigate attitudes towards science in junior high school students, based on 2 attitude indicators: (1) enjoyment in science lesson & (2) leisure interest in science. In addition, measurements were also made regarding the relationship between the two indicators of attitude. This research is survey research. The results of the data came from an attitude questionnaire consisting of indicators (1) enjoyment in science lesson and (2) leisure interest in science. The sample consisted of 2815 junior high school students in Jambi Province, Indonesia. The results showed that for indicators: (1) enjoyment in science is good category with a percentage of 48.1%, (2) leisure interest in science is fairly good category with a value: 47.2% and This indicator leads to a positive trend supported by a positive attitude with a greater good value: 38.4%, while for the analysis of the correlation between the two indicators shows a positive correlation with a sig: 0,000 (<0.05) and has a strong degree of correlation indicated by the value "Pearson Correlation": 0.716. Therefore, it is concluded overall attitudes towards science at Junior high school students in Jambi, Indonesia have a positive attitude and are categorized well.

Abstract

This study aims to apply students' self-concept E-assessment to SESKA-based physics. Student self-concept E-assessment in this study aims to see students 'self-concept of physics and how the teacher responds to the development of students' self-concept E-assessment with SESKA systems. The method implemented in this research has three stages, namely: (1) Development, (2) Implementation, & (Evaluation). This research was carried out on 450 students and 15 teachers in the Jambi Province of Indonesia. The results of this study indicate students' self-concept of physics is classified as good 47.1percent (212 students), and the teacher's response is classified as positive, with 66.7percent (10 teachers). Therefore, SESKA-based E-Assessments receives a good response and needs to be developed on a large scale.

Abstract

Work discipline is a tool that managers use to communicate with employees so that they are willing to increase one's awareness of complying with all applicable regulations and social norms. Problem limitation is limiting the problem only in terms of timeliness or orderliness in managing administration. The formulation of the problem is the influence of discipline of general administration employees on the effectiveness of services at Dunda Limboto Regional Hospital. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of discipline of general administration employees on the effectiveness of services at Dunda Limboto Hospital. The research method used is correlational research. The sample in this study consisted of 18 respondents. Data analysis uses simple linear regression. The results of the research show that there is an influence of employee discipline on the effectiveness of services at Dunda Limboto Hospital. In conclusion, to improve employee work discipline and effectiveness, it is recommended to pay more attention to services and also to support effectiveness, you must also pay attention to the structure or facilities and infrastructure used.
