Abstract

Augmented Reality adalah teknologi yang menggabungkan objek maya atau virtual dengan lingkungan nyata. Pemanfaatan teknologi AR banyak digunakan pada bidang edukasi, kesehatan, militer, iklan, hiburan dan navigasi. Ikan Cupang adalah ikan air tawar yang habitat asalnya adalah beberapa negara di Asia Tenggara, antara lain Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Singapura, dan Vietnam. Ikan cupang terdiri dari 73 spesies dan dibagi menjadi 13 kelompok, sehingga orang awam sulit untuk membedakan jenis ikan cupang. Serta banyak ditemukannya kasus ikan yang mati mendadak dikarenkan kurangnya pengetahuan tentang perawaatan ikan cupang tersebut. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, penulis membuat aplikasi pengenalan ikan cupang (betta fish) menggunakan augmented reality dimana pengguna dapat memanfaatkan smartphone mereka untuk melihat jenis dan info tentang ikan cupang. Aplikasi ini dibuat menggunakan aplikasi Unity sebagai game engine dan Vuforia sebagai library. Cara penggunaanya adalah dengan mengarahkan kamera smartphone pada marker atau penanda yang telah tersedia. Kemudian dilayar smartphone akan muncul objek ikan cupang beserta penjelasannya. Untuk penelitian lanjutan disarankan memasukkan audio atau suara, membuat objek menjadi jauh lebih interaktif dengan menambahkan objek 3 dimensi (3D) dan mengganti marker menjadi lebih menarik atau mungkin dapat dikembangkan dengan metode pendeteksian objek secara langsung.

Abstract

OSIS and Production Unit SMKS IT Marinah Al-Hidayah Medan are two elements that work together in the development of SMKS IT Marinah Al-Hidayah Medan. Production Unit which is media for students to develop creativity, interests and talents as well as place students to add experience and income with entrepreneurship. The activities to be carried out are the cultivation of oyster mushrooms, the utilization of mushrooms baglog waste and agricultural waste as compost raw material for use as a medium in vertical agricultural systems. However, the problem faced is the difficulty of supplying good quality oyster mushroom independently and also limited information about the technical culture of oyster mushroom cultivation, baglog waste handling and agricultural waste and utilization of school land for vegetable cultivation by vertikultur method. To help overcome these problems, the community service team of the Faculty of Agriculture USU through the Garden School Program conducts training on producing good quality oyster mushroom seeds by introducing mushroom seed making tools, press baglog and 20 m2 of growing room. Wastes baglog mushrooms and agricultural waste from around the school environment then processed into compost using compost machine. The resulting compost is used as a medium for planting organic vegetables using vertikulture cultivation system. Students are also trained to process a variety of food products made from oyster mushroom so that the shelf life, nutritional content and economic value of oyster mushrooms can be increased so it can be marketed to train to increase self-reliance with entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Pemikiran pemanfaatan teknologi Informasi yang identik dengan biaya mahal, membuat beberapa pihak instansi pendidikan/sekolah merasa enggan untuk menerapkannya, padahal dengan demikian dapat memberikan keuntungan dalam efisien waktu, tenaga dan penyajian informasi. Penghematan waktu dan kecepatan penyajian informasi akibat penerapan teknologi informasi tersebut akan memberikan kesempatan kepada pihak guru dan pimpinan sekolah untuk meningkatkan kualitas informasi dan pembinaan kepada siswa. Aktifitas tes/ujian tidak hanya dilakukan sebagai mekanisme kenaikan kelas maupun kelulusan namun kini juga sebagai mekanisme ujian masuk sekolah tersebut. Ujian berbasis komputer (UBK) dianggap juga sebagai implementasi pengetahuan dari pembelajaran TIK, karena dengan UBK ampu menempatkan siswa sebagai pelaku teknologi yang bermanfaat, dimana mereka dihadapkan pada kemampuan untuk mengoperasikan perangkat komputer. Tindakan dalam kegiatan ini berupa implementasi Program. Kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam implementasi program adalah sebagai berikut. Melakukan inplementasi sistem pada komputer yang diperuntukkan sebagai server. Melakukan pelatihan penggunaan software/sistem yang diberikan.

Abstract

Service quality always emphasizes the focus on meeting customer expectations, namely the community. In this study, service quality is the focus of efforts to influence community satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative approach with survey data collection procedures located at the Polewali Mandar Regency Population and Registry Office. The measurement scale used is the Likert scale, in which the number of samples is determined using the Slovenian formula with a penetration value of 10%, so that 95 samples from 985 populations in the area of ​​the Population and Registry Office, Polewali Mandar Regency, are obtained. This study produced results based on concurrent tests, concluding that of the five variables, consisting of physical evidence (X1), reliability (X2), responsiveness (X3), guarantee (X4) and empathy (X5), the Community satisfaction. yields 0.867 during the pre-test, which means that the quality of service is largely influenced by the independent variable, which is 86.7% and physical evidence (X1), reliability (X2), responsiveness (X3), guarantee (X4), and empathy (X5) and the remaining 13.3% are influenced by other variables that were not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine public perception of the policy of regional regulations, Polewali Mandar Regency, regarding non-smoking areas. This research is a descriptive analysis based on quantitative research using language (verbal) to provide general conclusions. The data acquisition techniques used are direct observation of the field and intensive interviews by asking questions that are directly related to the research topic. The data analysis is carried out in a display in which data is presented in the form of a matrix and data is reduced. The results showed that the dominant community spoke well and agreed on the existence of this regulation. Based on the determination of the non-smoking area, the imposition of administrative sanctions and the consent to the determination of the regional regulation (Perda), No. 4 of 2015 in relation to areas without smoking, so that this regulation can be implemented.

Abstract

Palm oil is one of the most demanded commodities globally, which has led to a significant increase in its production and raised issues regarding its environmental impact. However, many of these issues are not based on substantial evidence. To provide a proportional picture on the oil palm industry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), the University of Tasmania (UTAS) and the Association of Indonesian Palm Oil Entrepreneurs (GAPKI) have collaborated to carry out this program. The program was conducted for seven days through classroom lectures and field trip activities, involving 14 students and two supervisors from UTAS and four USU students. Pre and post-tests were conducted to evaluate the impact of the program.  The results showed changes in participants' knowledge and perception regarding the environmental, social, and economic effects of the oil palm industry. Therefore, this program could be considered an effective counter to misleading Indonesian palm oil industry issues.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) to study and analyze work skills, motivation and communication which significantly and significantly affect the performance of the Flight Inspector at the Makassar Region V Airport Authority and (2) to assess and analyze the dominant and significant factors that affect the inspector's performance. Flight Authority Office Makassar Region V Airport. This research was conducted at the operation of the Flight Inspector at the Makassar Region V Airport Authority Office with a population of 51 Flight Inspectors at the Makassar Region V Airport Authority Office. The research sample used purposive sampling method (30%), namely 47 respondents. The data analysis used was descriptive to explain the characteristics of the respondent and the research descriptive, while to analyze the quantitative data using multiple regression analysis tools. This study examines the factors that affect the operational performance of the Flight Inspector at the Makassar Region V Airport Authority. The results showed that the average value of R, R2 and R2 had a significant effect. The regression coefficient (B) for the competency variable (X1), motivation (X2) and constant regression coefficient gave a significant effect. Meanwhile, communication (X3) does not have a significant effect. The dominant variable in this study is motivation (X2) which has an influence on the performance of the Flight Inspector at the Makassar Region V Airport Authority, after testing with the F-test and t-test which shows a very significant effect.

Abstract

Kalimat mukmin di dalam Al-Quran memiliki banyak sekali makna defivasi maupun kontektualnya. Tulisan ini meneliti kata muk- min dalam Al-Quran sehingga membentuk satu kesatuan konsep yang utuh, dari berbagai makna yang terserak di dalam Al-Quran. Penulis disamping menggunakan pendekatan teks dan konteks, juga menggu- nakan metode maudhu’i pada penyatuan semua konsep-konsepnya, sehingga melahirkan beberapa kriteria yang dapat mencakup penger- tian tentang seorang mukmin. Kriteria dimaksud antara lain: sujud dan bertasbih apabila diperingatkan dengan ayat-ayat Allah dan tidak bersikap sombong; menerima ayat Allah dan melaksanakan apa-apa yang diperintahkan di dalamnya; taat serta menjadikan rasul seba- gai hakim; istiqamah dalam ketaatan, menjaga kehormatan, bersikap khusu’ dan banyak mengingat Allah SWT.
