Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the use of learning method PQ4R accompanied Question Student Have towards students learning outcome in matter of plant structure  in grade VIIIth SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. The method of this research was quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The study samples consists of two classes namely grade VIII A as experiment class and grade VIII B as control class. The sampling technique was intact group. Instruments used in this research 20 items of multiple choice test. The average student learning outcomes experiment class was 77,50 and control class was 73,55. From U Mann-Whitney test obtained Zcount (-1,29) > Ztable (-1,96), the mean that there were  difference between students learning outcome which taught used the method of PQ4R accompanied Question Student Have and taught used the conventional method. Whereas from Effect Size, the method of PQ4R accompanied Question Student Have in matter of plant structure extend contibute 10,64% towards students learning outcome. This indicated learning method PQ4R accompanied Question Student Have influence on students learning outcome in matter of plant structure. Keywords:Learning Method PQ4R, Question Student Have, Learning Outcome, Plant Structure

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif menggunakan metode buzz group bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Alkhairaat Pusat Palu, dengan jumlah siswa 17 orang. Penelitian ini meliputi empat tahap (i) perencanaan, (ii) pelaksanaan tindakan (iii) observasi dan (iv) refleksi. Berdasarkan analisis data, hasil belajar siklus I diperoleh Ketuntasan Belajar Klasikal sebesar 70,58%, Daya Serap Klasikal 78,43%, aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa berada pada kategori cukup. Pada siklus II diperoleh Ketuntasan Belajar Klasikal sebesar 94,12%, Daya Serap Klasikal 93,33%, aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa berada pada kategori baik. Hal ini memenuhi indikator kinerja yang telah ditentukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif menggunakan metode buzz group dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Alkhairaat Pusat Palu.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the creativity and learning outcomes and find out whether there is a positive relationship between the creativity with students the learning outcomes  who are taught with the project based learning (PjBL) model in class IX biotechnology material SMPN 1 Pontianak. This research is correlation research. The research sample is class IX G taken using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a test of creativity and a test of learning outcomes. The hypothesis was tested using Pearson moment product correlation analysis. The results showed (1) IX grade students of SMPN 1 Pontianak had moderate creativity with a percentage of 67%; (2) grade IX students of SMPN 1 Pontianak meet the KKM with a percentage of 33%; (3) there is a positive relationship between the creativity taught with the PjBL model and student learning outcomes in biotechnology material class IX SMPN 1 Pontianak. The relationship is shown through the correlation coefficient of rcount of 0.396 greater than rtable of 0.344. The coefficient of determination obtained by 15.68% indicates variations in learning outcomes can be explained through the creativity of the rest is influenced by factors not examined. The correlation coefficient obtained positive sign (+) shows the relationship between creativity in the direction of student learning outcomes. Creativity is high thinking so the learning outcomes are also high.  Keywords: Creativity, learning outcomes, PjBLÂ
