Abstract

The new media provides a powerful influence in shaping the knowledge and character of adolescents as a middle class group. Content packaging is represented as naturally as possible in capturing its influence, so that a hegemony practice takes place. Content that emphasizes and accentuates consumptive culture is used as a mainstay to attract the attention of audiens through Youtube channel to increase the number of viewrs to gain profit. This practice is what makes consumptive hegemony make audines subject to approval. This study describes how the practice of hegemony in shaping consumptive ideology, uses qualitative studies with a literary approach to strengthen Gramsci's hegemony explanations. Ria Ricis official Youtube channel analysis object with colorful and squsihy shopping content themes. The results show that the account packages content by cultivating the effect of pleasure in emphasizing consumptive ideology and uploading similar content with the same theme because of the approval. Social media provides a closeness between audiens and content owners so that the practice of hegemony is easily subjected to approval. In defending consumptive ideology, the dominant group makes representations that allow good responses. the hegemony made the consumptive ideology develop into a lifestyle.

Abstract

Television broadcasting media during the Disruption Era was the biggest challenge for Television, especially local television to innovate and be creative in the era of technological development. Competition between the media is very tight coupled with the current Covid 19 pandemic, requiring media companies to survive in the competition of competitors. Cakra Semarang TV as Local TV in Central Java in an effort to compete in the Age of Media Disruption. The method used in this research is interpretive qualitative, using the theory of Sociocultural Evolution and Socio-technical System Theory that is used to see Cakra Semarang TV survive the media disturbances. the findings of the research show that creativity, promotional content and news as well as the application of media are the benefits that are utilized by Cakra Semarang TV to stay afloat. The application of Media Divergence by Cakra Semarang TV is a solution to the change in the way viewers watch the previously conventional Cakra Semarang TV program, but now viewers can enjoy Cakra Television Semarang TV broadcasts boldly or online. Efforts to save Cakra Semarang TV in a program broadcasting broadcast programs with the concept of divergence using YouTube streaming, social media to the site portal to get closer to the audience. This effort was carried out by Cakra Semarang TV as a way to maintain existence in the Local Television Media industry in Central Java in the Era of Disruption Current media.

Abstract

Terjadinya global warming membuat masyarakat kini mulai fokus pada lingkungan. Salah satunya adalah meningkatnya konsumsi produk-produk ramah lingkungan. Konsumen saat ini mulai lebih peduli pada lingkungan dan beralih pada pasar yang lebih hijau (green marketing). Oleh sebab itu, pengusaha juga kini lebih bertanggung jawab secara sosial dan telah memahami peran mereka dalam bisnis yang berkelanjutan di masa depan yang lebih baik dengan menerapkan kewirausahaan hijau (green entrepreneurship). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses komunikasi bisnis yang dilakukan oleh penginisiasi batik di UMKM Batik Kampung Tematik Batik Durenan Indah Semarang oleh anggota-anggota umkm batik lainnya dalam mengembangkan green entrepreneurship. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi langsung dengan mengamati proses komunikasi yang berlangsung. Pengembangan green entrepreneurship menjadi penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengusaha itu sendiri serta turut menjaga kelestarian lingkungan.

Abstract

The Covid-19 epidemic has caused problems, especially in the economic field, which has an impact on the increasing number of residents at the local, national, and even global levels. It is also a health catastrophe throughout 2020. Long-term social distancing laws and restrictions on human movement and activities have rendered economic centers inoperable. Unusual events such as pandemics and reported weak economic growth cannot slow or even limit the rate at which companies acquire community land. According to the community, PSBB means complying with the government's request for restraint and creating a conducive environment by severely limiting mobility and activities outside the home. Meanwhile, Large-Scale Social Restrictions have become a driving force for the widespread appropriation of agrarian resources for large groups of companies with agrarian roots. Obviously, when the pandemic crisis is most severe and Large-Scale Social Restrictions are applied intensively, agrarian conflicts increase. Therefore, during the COVID-19 outbreak, agrarian disputes in Indonesia are very important to watch out for.

Abstract

Medan has enormous potential for expanding urban agriculture for achieving food security. The primary issues in achieving the urban agricultural movement are consistency and cooperation. The goal of this essay is to show how the city of Medan's agricultural policies can boost food independence while also improving the economy. This study employs a qualitative descriptive research method with a literature review approach. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data visualization, and making conclusions. The findings indicate that urban agriculture plays an important role in community empowerment through the food self-sufficiency movement. The advantages can lead to new work prospects. It is critical to increasing cooperation between local governments and the community through policy protection and aid for the development of plant management expertise and harvest marketing distribution.

Abstract

Frankincense commodities play an important role in agricultural commodity production in Humbang Hasudutan. Traditional processing has become a local wisdom that has been practiced for years. However, the threat of eroding customary forests and the lack of marketing are obstacles faced by farmers. The purpose of this research is to find out the communication of government policies in developing frankincense commodities. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results show that policy communication is able to encourage the effectiveness of frankincense agricultural development in Humbang. Policies regarding socialization to farmers to understand how the food estate program takes place, encourage community involvement in supporting the development plan. Efforts to create farmer welfare, encourage the strengthening of farmer organizations to be an important need in supporting the development of frankincense commodities. Strengthening the organization is considered capable of overcoming the problem of marketing difficulties of frankincense production from farmers.

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara agraris menempatkan sektor pertanian menjadi penting. Tidak hanya mencakup tentang ketahanan pangan, melainkan menjadi komoditas politik. Beras sebagai bahan pokok masyarakat Indonesia, digunakan politisi sebagai media kampanye yang dapat menarik dukungan. Anggapan beras dianggap sebagai komoditas strategis dapat digunakan sebagai komoditas politik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan beras sebagai komoditas politik menjelang Pemilihan Umum. Metode yang digunakan  desk research dengan mengumpulkan data secara digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukan beras memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam politik, mulai komoditas strategis untuk mencapai ketahanan pangan maupun sebagai alat kebijakan politik, media kampanye. Beras dinilai menjadi representatif dalam melihat kepedulian politisi kepada petani sebagai upaya menciptkaan kesejahteraan. Beras selalu menjadi fokus dalam rencana kebijakan, pedebatan politik dan menjadi strategi penting politisi menunjukan arah kebijakan. Pentingnya komoditas beras dalam politik erat kaitan dengan sejarah panjang yang menempatkan beras sebagai simbol identitas nasional. Penting melihat urgensi beras sebagai komoditas pangan dibanding komoditas politik.

Abstract

This study examines film The Interview to determine hegemonic process of political power relations in American films. North Korea is known as a closed country that strongly opposes western domination, especially America. Foreign media always describe North Korean government as a dictator, meaning absolute power of leader. In contrast, film The Interview depicts a humorous figure of North Korean leader by showing figure of Kim Jong Un who enjoys American culture. The plot of Twits in this film depicts uprising that took place to make North Korea a democracy. Qualitative descriptive research method is used in analyzing film through approach of Gramsci hegemony theory about how hegemony process in the film The Interview. Data collection techniques through literature examination include books, journals, documents, and films. Data reduction, data visualization, and drawing conclusions are data analysis activities. The results of study show that dominant group tries to exert influence with concepts of mastery in a persuasive manner by presenting reality from a different point of view. The dominant people here are Americans who are trying to change mindset audience by seeing North Korea as an oppressed people. Leaders who have been known to be assertive, such as Kim Jong Un, who is feared by people, are portrayed as humorous figures with a love for American culture, which is a clear fact in their development that they often experience political tensions.

Abstract

Social media has become very interesting to use in the current digital era to interact and share information efficiently. However, the use of social media has positive and negative impacts on society, especially teenagers. Misuse of social media has negative impacts, such as the rise of bullying cases in adolescents on social media. This study aims to analyze the impact of bullying on social media on teenagers. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method with a literature review approach. Secondary data sources include journals, books, online media, and literature reviews. Data analysis in this study uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results stated that bullying on social media affects adolescents' mental health. The harmful perpetrators' negative behavior leads to a lack of understanding and awareness to use social media wisely. In this case, the importance of the role of the environment closest to adolescents provides education on behavior in social media and handling for victims of bullying.

Abstract

Rancangan Undang-Undang (RUU) Kesehatan menjadi salah satu topik yang ramai diperdebatkan melalui media sosial di tahun 2023. Penelitian ini ingin mengkaji mobilisasi dukungan opini digital melalui tagar #TolakRUUKesehatan di media sosial Twitter. Teori yang digunakan adalah Digital Movement of Opinion (DMO), sebuah aktivisme digital yang ditandai oleh adanya reaksi yang spontan dan tidak terorganisasi dari pengguna media sosial. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode social media network analysis (SMNA). Data dikumpulkan dari proses netlytic.org dengan tagar #TolakRUUKesehatan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tagar dimobilisasi oleh aktor yang menjadi opinion leader dengan tiga narasi yang dominan; 1. Penghapusan mandatory spending kesehatan; 2. Proses penyusunan RUU yang tidak melibatkan profesi dan publik; 3. Perlindungan anak dan remaja usia merokok. Tagar tersebut membuat gerakan mobilitas massa yang dapat mempengaruhi opini publik melalui gerakan opini digital di media sosial yang diikat oleh perhatian akan isu yang sama dan memunculkan wacana dominan dalam isu kebijakan kesehatan di ranah digital.
