Abstract

This research hasi.purpose designing instruments. ability assessment .critical thinking, get the results of the instrument. assessment of thinking skills.critically valid.and reliable. The research method used is Research and Development, using methods.4D development, namely 1) observation and study of literature, 2) expert validation test, 3) testing for students, 4) ready-to-use product. The results of this study obtained. the result of that type.research instrument. which is developed feasible. used with analysis indicators, interpretation,. inference, evaluation, explanation,.induction, Decuction. The assessment instrument developed was PG (Multiple Choice). The difficulty test shows that of the 40 questions made have a difficulty level of 0.27 to 0.44, which is in the difficult and moderate criteria, on the test results 5 questions are stated as good, 17 questions are stated as sufficient, and 18 questions are said to be bad. The instrument for assessing critical thinking skills in basic mechanical engineering subjects was declared valid for 30 out of the 40 questions made and the reliability value was 0.82, then it was declared as realistic. Conclusion, the instrument for assessing critical thinking skills in the basic engineering work course is feasible.

The quality of education for the improvement is inseparable from the application of appropriate assessments to measure the final result and a quality measuring instrument is needed so that the assessment instruments used by educational units must meet the requirements, one of which has evidence of empirical validation. This research was conducted to produce a valid and reliable assessment instrument for critical thinking skill. Abstract

Sistem pengapian pada motor bakar merupakan prasyarat untuk terjadinya pembakaran dan juga menentukan kualitas dari proses pembakaran tersebut. Persyaratan utama dari sistem pengapian adalah mampu menyuplai energi panas yang dibutuhkan dalam bentuk percikan bunga api listrik busi pada volume yang kecil dan waktu yang cukup untuk terjadinya pembakaran. Berbagai jenis sistem pengapian dikembangkan untuk berbagai keperluan dan hasil yang berbeda sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental. Objek penelitian ini adalah mengukur kadar kandungan karbon monoksida (CO) gas buang yang dihasilkan oleh sepeda motor 4 langkah 110ccdengan sistem pengapian CDI dengan sumber arus AC (CDI-AC) dan sumber arus DC (CDI-DC) yang diuji dalam berbagai putaran mesin (RPM) yang berbeda. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai rata-rata kandungan CO gas buang yang dihasilkan pada sistem pengapian CDI-AC adalah sebesar 6,91%, sedangkan rata-rata pada sistem pengapian CDI-DC adalah 7,07%. Berdasarkan temuan ini persentase rata- rata kandungan CO pada gas buang sistem pengapian CDI-DC lebih tinggi dibandingkan persentase rata-rata CDI-AC, namun fluktuasi kadar CO pada sistem CDI-DC lebih kecil dibandingkan CDI-AC pada berbagai RPM yang berbeda. Hal ini sesuai dengan karakteristik sistem pengapian CDI-DC yang menghasilkan tegangan lebih stabil sehingga gas CO yang dihasilkan dari pembakaran juga lebih stabil dibandingkan sistem pengapian CDI AC.

Abstract

The main component of the injection system is the electronic control unit (ECU) functions to optimize the performance of the vehicle engine. The ECU has the functions of injection duration and ignition time as an injector and ignition controller. The purpose of the study analyzed the comparison and differences in variations in the regulation of injection duration and ignition time of injection motor engines against the power output of the engine using pertamax fuel by experimental methods. There are comparisons and differences in power and torque in each variation of the programmable ECU and standard ECU settings. The highest average power and torque results at the standard ECU setting compared to the programmable ECU setting have lower average power and torque. Due to the different injection duration and ignition time of each setting, the power and torque generated by the motorcycle engine can be higher or lower per variation of the Programmable ECU setting. In addition to the difference in power output and engine torque, it also has differences in SFC values and the average Thermis Efficiency produced varies by variation of the programmable ECU settings.

Abstract

Abstract Teachers' success is a critical measure of educational accomplishment; however they lack the ability to create appropriate assessment instruments. This community service program aims to improve teachers' high-order thinking skill assessment tool development. The goal is to empower teachers to develop 21st-century skills. This service uses observation, teacher competency mapping, training, and evaluation. Traditional teaching approaches include lectures, discussions, and assignments. After the classical learning period, the teachers discuss and assigns work using Google Classroom for about a week. The activities took place in West Java's SMPN 1 Mande and SMAN 1 Muara Gembong. 21 Mande District teachers and 13 Muara Gembong District teachers completed Google classroom exercises and assignments. The activity showed proficiency in using the HOTS-based evaluation tool. Before the training session, 27.0% of teachers were knowledgeable with the HOTS-based evaluation technique. This training program improved teachers' ability to construct assessment instruments associated with Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) by 19%. In addition, participants learn how to develop multiple-choice assessment instruments that use higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). Abstrak Keberhasilan guru adalah ukuran penting dari pencapaian pendidikan; Namun, mereka tidak memiliki kemampuan untuk membuat instrumen penilaian yang tepat. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengembangan alat penilaian keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi guru. Tujuannya adalah untuk memberdayakan guru untuk mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21. Layanan ini menggunakan observasi, pemetaan kompetensi guru, pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Pendekatan pengajaran tradisional meliputi ceramah, diskusi, dan tugas. Setelah masa pembelajaran klasik, para guru mendiskusikan dan menugaskan tugas menggunakan Google Classroom selama sekitar satu minggu. Kegiatan berlangsung di SMPN 1 Mande Jawa Barat dan SMAN 1 Muara Gembong. 21 guru Distrik Mande dan 13 guru Distrik Muara Gembong menyelesaikan latihan dan tugas kelas Google. Kegiatan tersebut menunjukkan kemahiran dalam menggunakan alat evaluasi berbasis HOTS. Sebelum sesi pelatihan, 27,0% guru memiliki pengetahuan tentang teknik evaluasi berbasis HOTS. Program pelatihan ini meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengkonstruksi instrumen penilaian yang terkait dengan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) sebesar 19%. Selain itu, peserta belajar bagaimana mengembangkan instrumen penilaian pilihan ganda yang menggunakan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS).
