Abstract

The government of Indonesia has started to create a policy to enact Gerakan Nasional Non- Tunai (GNNT) which was inaugurated since last 2014 and this movement started from the implementation of transaction at Jabodetabek toll road. The main purpose of this research is to evaluate the influence of psychological capital on readiness for change among toll gate guards in Jabodetabek. This research used Readiness for change scale to measure the individual readiness in facing organizational change and psychological capital questionnaire is used to measure the level of psychological capital among the respondent of the research. The respondent of this research focuses on 103 toll gate guards in Jabodetabek area. The result shows that there is a significant impact of psychological capital on readiness for change and resilience is the dimension that most significantly influences the readiness for change among the toll gate guards in Jabodetabek.Key words: Readiness for change, psychological capital, toll gate guards

Abstract

Perubahan adalah suatu upaya organisasi dalam mengembangkan bisnis atau usaha mereka untuk dapat bertahan disuatu industri. Tidak terkecuali Firma Hukum MAP sebagai penyedia pelayanan jasa hukum di Indonesia. Firma Hukum MAP beberapa tahun yang lalu menghadapi suatu perubahan berupa incremental change yakni perubahan yang secara kontinyu dilakukan oleh organisasi untuk dapat meningkatkan kapabilitas dan kompetensinya secara relevan dengan dinamika kebutuhan akan pelayanan jasa hukum yang kompeten. Penelitian ini sendiri dimaksudkan untuk menilai seberapa efektif firma tersebut mengelola perubahan. Perubahan itu sendiri adalah menyangkut pengimplementasian client relationship management (CRM) ke dalam proses bisnis firma. Menurut hasil penelitian, peran managing partner dinilai sudah efektif serta dengan bantuan advokat dapat membantu firma tersebut dalam mengelola perubahan yang ada. Penelitian ini didukung oleh beberapa management tools untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pengelolaan perubahan yang dilakukan oleh Firma Hukum MAP seperti Kurva Perubahan Kubler Ross, Lewin Three Step Model serta Force Field Analysis oleh Kurt Lewin. Firma Hukum MAP disarankan untuk terus menemukan area of improvement dengan terus belajar dan berinovasi dengan menggunakan metode benchmarking untuk dapat meningkatkan optimalitas dalam mengimplementasikan CRM.

Abstract

Generasi milenial dalam bekerja tidak hanya berfokus pada tingkat penghasilan tinggi, akan tetapi mepertimbangkan kondisi keseimbangan antara pekerjaan dan kehidupan pribadi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi dimensi-dimensi work-life balance pada karyawan generasi milenial di sektor perbankan. Variabel work-life balance diukur dengan work-life balance scale yang terdiri dari empat dimensi yaitu work intereference with personal life (WIPL), personal life interference with work (PLIW), personal life enhancement of work (PLEW) dan work enhancement of personal life (WEPL). Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner online dengan metode accidental sampling. Penelitian ini melibatkan 172 karyawan generasi milenial (20-40 tahun) yang bekerja di sektor perbankan Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi WIPL (57,6% )  dan PLIW (54,1%)generasi milenial berada dalam kategori rendah. Sedangkan dimensi WEPL (63,4%) dan PLEW (54,7%) berada dalam kategori tinggi. Secara khusus work-life balance dapat menjadi preferensi bagi perusahaan dan generasi milenial untuk meningkatkan kualitas pekerjaan dan kesejahteraan individu.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur pengaruh kepuasan kerja, keterlibatan kerja, dan perceived organizational support terhadap komitmen organisasional pada Bank Syariah Mandiri kantor pusat di Jakarta. Yang menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini adalah dikarenakan adanya penurunan presentase dalam kenaikan nilai aset perbankan yang disebabkan oleh kurang berkomitmen dan kurangnya keterlibatan karyawan didalam organisasi. POS yang diberikan oleh Bank Syariah Mandiri kepada karyawan juga dinilai kurang mencukupi kebutuhan sosio-emosional karyawan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif yang memfokuskan pada 60 responden yakni karyawan di Bank Syariah Mandiri Kantor Pusat Jakarta. Berdasarkan temuan didalam penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa tidak ditemukannya hubungan positif antara kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasional serta POS dan komitmen organisasional. Namun ditemukan hubungan positif dan signifikan antara keterlibatan kerja dan komitmen organisasional.

Abstract

This research explains the impacts of ACFTA on the industrial globalization in theIndonesian jamu and herbal industry. Industrial globalization itself is crucial for thedevelopment of a country. The development of a country is needed for the welfare of thepeople and the industrial globalization helps to smooth the process out by allowing thecountry to connect and integrate with the global world through international trade andinvestment aided by information technology in order to achieve the objective, which is thedevelopment itself. Indonesia is one of the countries, which has the privilege in havingintegration with the global world through international agreements. One of theinternational agreements that Indonesia has signed is called ASEAN-China Free TradeArea (ACFTA). ACFTA is a multilateral agreement comprised of the agreements betweenASEAN member countries with China in order to minimalize the trade barriers not onlyfrom the tariff wise but also non-tariff wise between the member countries. Indonesia asone of the member countries has experienced some positive impacts from this internationalagreement such as the increase of the level of its economic development and globalnetworking. However, there are some negative impacts in implementing this internationalagreement from the perspective of the sale of Chinese illegal herbal commodities inIndonesia that contains hazardous materials and the spread of Chinese illegalmanufactures of herbal products in Indonesia. The government of Indonesia is expected tomitigate these issues by formulating and implementing strict trade policy and alsomaintaining the quality of the imported and exported products in order to succeed thisinternational agreement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana firma hukum MAP memenuhi ekspektasi kliennya mengenai pelayanan berdasarkan dimensi SERVQUAL. Penelitian ini juga mengevaluasi efektivitas dari strategi operasional firma hukum MAP. Peneliti menggunakan focus group discussions dan in-depth interview untuk memperoleh data penelitian ini. Berdasarkan penemuan dari penelitian ini firma hukum MAP telah memenuhi ekspektasi klien serta pelayanan hukum yang telah diberikan oleh firma hukum MAP juga sudah memuaskan. Firma hukum MAP dinilai telah sukses mengimplementasikan strategi operasional yakni dengan menggunakan strategi waste elimination yang mana membantu firma hukum MAP untuk menghadapi tantangan bisnis dalam sehari-harinya. Namun terdapat beberapa perbaikan yang perlu dibuat yakni dengan meningkatkan performa pelayanan dengan mengimplementasikan CRM dan juga dengan melakukan benchmarking.

Abstract

Innovation is imperative to be applied by the company in order to respond to the industrial dynamic and also to respond to market and consumers demand. With the right management of innovation and its practise will help the company to optimize the initiative strategy in order to respond to those changes that happen in the company. The author focuses this research to the evaluate the effectiveness of innovative culture at Georgette Textiles using Six Building Blocks of an Innovative Culture as the management evaluation tool that is suitable for this research.  The method that is used in this research is qualitative method, which is in-depth interview with the marketing export specialist at Georgette Textiles. Abstract

Total Quality Management (TQM) is a management philosophy that can help organization to reach its consistency on the effectiveness and efficiency of the production. The motivation in doing this research is due to the opportunity for excess of inventory, defect and over-processing to occur in the process of production despite the implementation of TQM. This research is meant to evaluate the effectiveness of TQM Implementation at Georgette Textiles. The author use in-depth interview to gather all the necessary information required on the effectiveness of the TQM Implementation. It can be concluded that Georgette Textiles have the effective implementation of TQM despite its issue on waste management that still can be tolerated. It is recommended for the management to use quality benchmarking to help the organization reach its business excellence and to eliminate quality gaps in the production.

Abstract

Subjective well-being (SWB) is individual’s evaluation towards his life. SWB consists of three aspects: life satisfaction, positive affect and negative affect. A research conducted by Soto (2015) shows there is a reciprocal correlation between SWB and five personality dimensions (neuroticism, extraversion, openness, conscience and agreeableness). This research is consistent with a research by Diener that Subjective well-being is highly affected by personality (1999). A person with high SWB is high in extroversion, agreeableness, conscience and low in neuroticism. Objective of this research is to gain a picture of generation Y’s SWB through their personality assessment. This research involved 1107 participants, range from 18 – 37 years old. Personality is measured by NEO PI by Costa Mc Crae. The result shows generation Y is low in extraversion and openness; very low in agreeableness and conscience; and average in neuroticism. Based on the result we can conclude that generation Y’s SWB is tends to be low. Keyword: Subjective Well-being, personality, Costa-McCrae, Generation Y
