The increase in the attitude of the toddlers in the calendar group (1.40%) was almost the same as the leaflet group (1.38%). Abstract

Sexual behavior is something that is considered to influence self-esteem behavior, parent-child relationships, sexual thrill-seeking tendencies, the presence of deviant peers and the use of pornographic media. The family development stage begins when the first child turns 13 years old and usually ends 6-7 years later, when the child leaves the parental home. Parenting can be defined as all the ways parents treat their children. The purpose of the study was to find the relationship of family development stages and parenting patterns to sexual behavior. The design of this study was cross sectional with a population of 152 samples of 110 respondents with proportional randam sampling technique. Data analysis used is univariate and bivariate. The results of the study with statistical tests showed the value of family development stages p value 0.000 and parenting patterns p value: 0.000 where both are smaller than alpha (p <0.05). The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between the stage of family development and parenting on sexual behavior. The recommendation of the results of this study is that respondents get good fulfillment of adolescent age developmental tasks and friendly parenting so that they can control sexual behavior in themselves and know the dangers of risky sexual behavior. Keywords: Family Development, Parenting, Sexual Behavior

Abstract

A functional disorder known as diabetes mellitus results in a lack of insulin hormone, either because the pancreas is unable to produce it or because body cells are unable to properly utilize the insulin the pancreas has produced. Because of this disorder, blood sugar levels will rise uncontrollably. Continuously high glucose levels will poison the body, including its organs. The 2018 Riskesdas statistics show that 2% of Indonesians over the age of 15 have been diagnosed with diabetes mellitus. Compared to the 1.5% prevalence of DM in the 2015 Riskesdas data, this figure indicates a rise. Nonetheless, blood sugar levels rose from 6.9% to 8.5% in 2018 based on data from tests conducted in 2013. According to this statistic, about 25% of DM patients are aware that they have the disease. Finding the diabetes mellitus risk variables at the Trauma Center Health Center in Samarinda City is the aim of this study. The study uses a cross-sectional analytical survey that is directed at all 189 patients at the Trauma Center Health Center in Samarinda City who have diabetes mellitus. The study uses unintentional sampling and a questionnaire to gather data. To examine the data for persons with diabetes, we employ the chi square test at a 5% confidence level.

Abstract

According to data from the Health Center Profile, the majority of the population at the trauma center, specifically 10,327 individuals, or 49.1%, are private employees. At the same time, the smallest group, consisting of only 28 people, are scavengers. The health center employs 67 health workers, while the trauma center has 35 integrated health posts, with one integrated health post housing 6 people. In 2022, the prevalence of balanced nutrition in East Kalimantan will be 23.9%, placing it 16th among 34 provinces in Indonesia (SSGI, 2022). In Samarinda City, the prevalence of stunting is 25.3% (SSGI, 2022). This makes the government more aggressive and focused on the stunting problem. However, underweight and wasting strongly influence stunting in East Kalimantan; a decrease in underweight and wasting also reduces stunting. The challenges include a lack of achievement targets for balanced nutrition in the Trauma Center Health Centre's work area, which can be attributed to economic factors and parenting patterns that affect food provision. The Trauma Center Health Center faces several challenges, including a lack of knowledge among health workers, a low community economy, and suboptimal participation from health workers in promoting balanced nutritional health. This study aims to enhance the understanding and accessibility of balanced dietary food for prospective mothers by facilitating simulations and demonstrations of food portioning techniques.
