Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) for any kisnd of weed that grows on the fields of organic and non-organic rice crops (2) To determine whether the dominant weed grows on the organic and non-organic felds in the countryside using a quadratic method aimed at surveying locations, data gathering is done directly in the field by means of a vegetation analysis method and the square method that is a spot-of plot observations in the field. This research shows the type and species of weed found in Negari,kecamatan banjarangkan ,kabupaten klngkung.this research was conducted using the quadratic method directed by a site survey,data collection was carried out directly in the field using the vegetation analysis method, namely by observing the sampel plot in the field.the results of the study showed the types and species of weeds found in organic and non organic rice defenses in the village of negari banjarangkan,banjarangkan sub district,klungkung district,consisted of 5 species, namel: Monochoria vaginalis, pistia stratiotes Cyperus rotundus L, Echinochloa crussgalli, Marsilea clover in non oganic rice consists of 6 species Ludwigia adscendens, Cyperus rotundus L, Echinochloacrussgalli, Monochoriavaginalis, Limnocharis flava L, Marsilea clover. The highest index of importance for organic rice is Monochoriavaginalis 89,16% in non oganic rice , Echinochloacrussgalli 60,80% and the lowest importance value index for organic rice Marsilea clover 30,28% in non organic rice : Ludwigia adscendens 32,51%

Abstract

Research entitled the effect of cow biourine concentration treatment on yield and growth of ground kale plants (Ipomea reptans Poir) Determine the effect of beef biourine concentration treatment on growth and yield of ground kale plants (Ipomoea reptans Poir), Biourine concentration treatment what is the best cow for the growth and yield of ground water spinach plants (Ipomoea reptans Poir) .This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD), if the treatment had a significant effect with the LSD level of 5% to find out the best effect of each treatment. that the effect of cow biourine treatment has a very significant effect on all observed water spinach parameters.The effect of 500 ml / 1 liter water biourine concentration treatment results in other observed parameter values ​​such as highest plant height (B5 = 46.75 cm), highest number of leaves ( B5 = 45.00 cm) The highest leaf area (B5 = 991.92 cm2), total fresh weight 16.57 g).

Abstract

ABSTRACT Water henna flower (Impatiens balsamina L.) is a plant that is very easy to grow in the yard of the house. This plant is found in the northern hemisphere, India and mainland Southeast Asia, including Indonesia. The use of rice husk mulch is one of the most beneficial agricultural wastes. However, farmers often think that the husks are agricultural waste that can only be used as fertilizer, ash, or animal feed in addition to suppressing weed growth. The research objectives were : (1) To determine the effect of different weights of rice husk mulch on the growth and yield of water henna plants, (2) To determine the best weight of mulch on the growth and yield of water henna plants. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 6 treatments which were repeated 4 times. The data were analyzed by ANOVA or analysis of variance and if they were significantly different, the BNT test was continued with 5%. The use of rice husk mulch gave a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, total fresh weight of pane flowers, total oven dry weight of harvested flowers, total plant fresh weight, total oven dry weight of plants, and number of weeds. Rice husk mulch weight of 750 g (S5) gave the best results on total fresh weight of harvested flowers 121.55 g, total oven dry weight of harvested flowers 4.27 g total plant fresh weight of 1272.25 g, total oven dry weight of 3.75 g

Abstract

One of the important characteristics of cement quality is particle size distribution. There are several simple methods to measure the particle size distribution of cement based on the Stokes diameter, like Andreasen pipette method, sedimentation balance method, centrifugal sedimentation method, etc. A major disadvantages of these methods are they are time consuming process and require special skills. Particle size distribution also can be analyzed by using a different principle through microscopy, laser diffraction/scattering methods and Coulter counter method. Even these methods produce highly accurate results within a shorter time, however, the equipments are expensive. In the present study, it has developed a new method to overcome the problem. The method is the buoyancy weighing-bar method. This method is a simple and cost-effective. The principle of the buoyancy weighing-bar method that the density change in a suspension due to particle migration is measured by weighing buoyancy against a weighing– bar hung in the suspension, and the particle size distribution is calculated using the length of the weighing-bar and the time–course change in the the apparent mass of the weighing–bar. This apparatus consists of an analytical balance with a hook for underfloor weighing, and a weighing–bar, which is used to detect the density change in suspension. The result obtained show that the buoyancy weighing–bar method is suitable for measuring the particle size distribution of cement, and the result is comparable to that of determined by settling balance method.

Abstract

Abstract The objectives of this research was to find an illustration on the implementation of the local content in Junior Secondary School in the Regency of Kulon Progo and the effort of those schools in developing the local content programs. This is a survey research. The respondents of the research were all Public Junior Secondary School principals, teachers, and students, with a sample consisted of 12 schools, each representing of a district.  The data were collected by using open questionnaires, interview observation. The data were analyzed descriptive qualitative. The research results indicate that (1) the student’s choice of local content available in every Public Junior Secondary School in Kulon Progo, varying according to the school’s condition, especially the availability of teachers in each school. Very seldom the school provides special teacher for local content program. Therefore, choices of local content made by students could seldom be met by the school. School funding is the main reason why students demand is not granted if the available teachers are not able to teach the program requested. (2) In fact the potential local content which could be develop in the area ssuch as farming, planting and other hand work in construction and handycraft were not provided yet. But those demand mostly could not be implemented in schools due to teachers constrain. The school had not made cooperation with students parents or local residents who might be able to teach local content. (3) most students wish that the local content be a vocational life skill for their future job such as lesson on a computer, food science, dress making. Considering to the economic status of the students parents in Kulon Progo’s Junior High Schools were relatively unable to provide funding for further study of their children, then it is necessary to study and rearrange lessons of local content given to the schools. For that reason, attention of Kulon Progo Education Department Representative especially the department of curriculum is highly expected to give their attention on this matter. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini  untuk mengetahui pengaruh modal sosial, kompetensi guru, dan  intensitas kegiatan MGMP terhadap profesionalisme guru SMP IPS Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post  facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah guru IPS SMP yang tergabung dalam MGMP Yogyakarta. Terdapat 109 guru yang diambil seluruhnya menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data menggunakan quesioner untuk variabel modal sosial, kompetensi guru, intensitas kegiatan MGMP  dan profesionalisme guru. Pengujian validitas instrument dilakukan dengan expert judgment dan analisis faktor, sedangkan uji reliabilitas menggunakan  Alfa Cronbach. Analisis data menggunakan teknik regresi linier sederhana dan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modal sosial bepengaruh signifikan terhadap profesionalisme guru, kompetensi guru berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profesionalisme guru, intensitas kegiatan MGMP berpengaruh signifikan terhadap  profesionalisme guru, serta modal sosial, kompetensi guru dan intensitas kegiatan MGMP  secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profesionalisme guru SMP IPS Kota Yogyakarta.Kata Kunci: .Modal Sosial, Kompetensi Guru, Intensitas Kegiatan MGMP, Profesionalisme Guru

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis modal sosial yang dikembangkan guru di sekolah bermutu di Yogyakarta dan (2) memberikan gambaran kepada warga sekolah, khususnya guru agar memiliki kemampuan untuk mengembangkan modal sosial di sekolah, dan dapat menggunakan modal sosial tersebut untuk peningkatan mutu sekolah. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru-guru sekolah menengah atas di SMA Negeri 1, SMA Negeri 3, dan SMA Negeri 8 Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi yang didukung Focus Group Discussion (FGD) serta buku catatan lapangan/logbook. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modal sosial yang paling dominan dan banyak digunakan oleh guru di sekolah dengan mutu tinggi adalah mutual trust dan norma/tata tertib. Selain itu guru telah membangun dan mengembangkan networking yang produktif di antara semua warga sekolah. Kata kunci: pemanfaatan modal sosial, peningkatan mutu, guru sekolah menengah atas SOCIAL CAPITAL DEVELOPED BY THE REPUTABLE SCHOOLS’ TEACHERS IN YOGYAKARTA AbstractThis study was aimed at (1) analyzing the social capital developed by the reputable schools’ teachers in Yogyakarta, (2) providing an overview to school community, especially the teachers, in order to develop their social capital in the school, as well as be able to utilize the social capital for improving schools quality. This research used research and development (RD) approach. The subjects of this research were senior high schools teachers in SMAN 1, SMAN 3, and SMAN 8 Yogyakarta. The data were collected through questionnaires, observation, interviews and document study, supported by focus group discussion (FGD) and field-note/logbook. Then the data were analyzed qualitatively. The findings show that the most dominant social capital widely used by teachers in reputable schools is mutual trust and norms/ rules. In addition, teachers also have already built and developed productive networks between all communities in their schools. Keywords: utilization of social capital, quality improvement, teachers in reputable senior high school

Abstract

The result of the research shows that the regulation on pregnant woman who gets married because of adultery, according to Law No. 1/1974, is not explicitly regulated, but it is implicitly regulated in Article 2, paragraph 1 which stated that a marriage is legitimate when it was done according to each the couple’s religion and belief. In Article 53 of the Compilation of the Islamic Law, it is stated that 1) a woman who is pregnant without marriage can be married off with the man who has impregnated her, 2) the marriage can be carried out without waiting for the birth of the baby, and 3) the marriage will not be done over again after the baby is born. The baby is considered legitimate, according to Law No. 1/1974. According to the Compilation of the Islamic Law, the child who is born from   adultery is legitimate when the prospect husband is the child’s biological father. In Article 99, paragraph 1 of the Compilation of the Islamic Law and Article 42 of Law No. 1/1974, it is stated that a legitimate child is a child who is born from legitimate marriage, but he will be illegitimate when the husband of his mother is the man who has not impregnated his mother. The regulation on an illegitimate child is stipulated in Article 100 of the Compilation of the Islamic Law and Article 43 of Marriage Law No. 1/1974. The legal protection for a child who is born from adultery, according to Marriage Law No. 1/1974 and the Compilation of the Islamic law, is that the Recognition of the Child which can be done by his father after all requirements have been fulfilled, and the child is legally legitimate. Abstract

All members of a society have rights to receive education (education for all) and what exist in a society can be educational resources (all for education). If such a concept is applied with a full commitment, a learning society will result. A learning society can reflect an educated society, which can be attained through formal or non formal institutions. An educated society will produce morale and ethics, and a society with morale and ethics is one with a character and a self-esteem as a nation. It is what people in the world aspire.
