Abstract

This study aims to find out the improvement of non-native English students in pronunciation by using Listen and Imitate technique. This technique was selected to enhance the students? ability in pronouncing different sounds from their native language. Listening then imitating the sounds repeatedly will ease the students pronounced them perfectly. This research was quantitative which employed pre-experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design. The result of the pre test and post test was then compared to see the improvement of the Student?s pronunciation after the treatment using Listen and Imitate Technique. This study found out the use of listen and imitate technique was able to improve students? pronunciation skill significantly. This study also provides a set of suggestion to overcome the students? pronunciation problem.

Abstract

The medical record data at the Napabalano Health Center for pulmonary TB in 2016 from January to December was 315 suspected cases, whereas in 2017 the January-December period suspected 261 cases of pulmonary TB were suspected. This study aims to analyze the risk factors for TB pulmonary disease in Napabalano District, Muna Regency. The research design is the Case Control Study. The study population was all suspected pulmonary TB in Napabalano Subdistrict, Muna Regency, from January to December 2017 totaling 261 cases with the number of sample cases 57 and controls 57 taken with Simple Random Sampling technique. The results showed that occupancy density was a risk factor for pulmonary TB incidence, respondents who were at home with dense occupancy ie> 1 person per 10 m2 at risk of suffering pulmonary TB by 6 times compared to respondents who were at home not dense at <1 person per 10 m2 . Nutritional status is a risk factor for pulmonary TB incidence, respondents with poor nutritional status <18 IMT risk at risk of developing pulmonary TB 33 times compared to respondents with normal nutritional status BMI value 18-24. There is that there are risk factors for occupancy density, nutritional status, towards the incidence of pulmonary TB.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran aplikasi android berbasis budaya local. Tahapan penelitian ini menggunakan tahapan model Four-D yang terdiri atas tahap define, design, development, dan disseminate. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas peserta didik selama pembelajaran menggunakan media Ma’caku pada saat uji coba lapangan memperoleh tingkat pencapaian 89,00% dengan kategori sangat aktif sehingga produk dapat digunakan tanpa revisi. Berdasarkan seluruh hasil analisis produk meliputi kevalidan, kepraktisan, kemenarikan, dan keefektifan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan aplikasi android berbasis budaya local dengan materi yang disajikan dalam media Ma’caku dalam bentuk file apk, Software utama dalam produk pengembangan ini adalah Smart App Creator 3 sedangkan software pendukung adalah powerpoint, paint, corel draw. Powerpoint, corel draw dan paint digunakan untuk menggabungkan dan mengedit asset gambar, sedangkan software SAC3 digunakan untuk mengerjakan dan membuat aplikasi. Abstract

The Effect of Applying the Field Trip Method on the Learning Outcomes of Writing News Texts for Class VII Students at SMPN 1 Watansoppeng. This research aims to; (1) Describe the results of learning to write news texts before using the Class VII field trip method at SMPN 1 Watansoppeng; (2) Describe the results of learning to write news texts after using the Class VII field trip method at SMPN 1 Watansoppeng; This research is a quantitative type of research with a Pre-Experimental Design type of design. The research results showed that the student's pretest was 51.27 and the posttest result was 68.96. The normality test of the pretest and posttest data shows that the data is normally distributed. Furthermore, the results of the posttest data homogeneity test show that the data is homogeneous. Based on the results of the paired sample test which shows that it is 8.099 > 1.706, it can be concluded that the field trip method is used in learning to write news texts in Class VII SMPN 1 Watansoppeng
