Abstract

The poultry farming industry faces persistent challenges due to the rapid spread of diseases, leading to significant economic losses. This issue underscores the need for early disease detection tools. The goal of this community service project is to develop a mobile application that employs AI-driven computer vision to analyze chicken droppings, specifically targeting the detection of Coccidiosis, Newcastle Disease, and Salmonella, while also assessing overall chicken health. The project uses machine learning methods for image classification, integrating these into a user-friendly application accessible to farmers. The results of the project are measurable; the application achieved an accuracy rate of 96,67% based on the results of evaluating disease detection from the dataset. This outcome demonstrates the tool's potential to significantly improve poultry health management and reduce economic losses in the industry.

Abstract

Abstract: High school students are categorized as adolescents aged 15 to 18 years and are very vulnerable to adolescents committing sexual deviations if they do not get enough knowledge about sex. This problem is overcome by providing sexual education carried out by various parties such as parents, government, educational institutions, and so on. The problem of this study is whether there is a relationship between the level of knowledge, media exposure, peers with risky sexual behavior in adolescents of SMA N 6 Jambi City. The purpose of the study was to determine the correlation of media exposure and peer influence on risky sexual behavior in adolescents. This research is a study that uses a quantitative approach with the type of analytical observation research that is to find the relationship between variables. This study uses a cross sectional approach which aims to get a relationship by studying the dynamics of the correlation between the independent variable and the dependent variable that occurs in the object of research measured or collected simultaneously (simultaneously). The results showed a relationship between media exposure (p value: 0.001) and peer influence (p value: 0.038) on risky sexual behavior in adolescents. It is recommended for adolescents, especially SMA N 6 Jambi City, to protect themselves and learn about Sex Education well in order to avoid problems of risky sexual behavior. Students of SMA N 6 Jambi City can do this. Keywords: Teens, Media, Peers

Abstract

Abstract: Picky eaters are children's habits to be picky about certain types of food and refuse food. The initial survey which was conducted in 3 Kindergartens in the City of Bagansiapiapi, found that there were 7 preschool children who experienced picky eaters. The research objective was to determine the picky eater behavior and nutritional status of preschool children at the Kindergarten Trisula Kota Bagansiapiapi in 2020. The study was a quantitative, analytic observational study with a case control design which was carried out in Trisula Kindergarten in March-April 2020 with 23 case samples and control samples. 23 people. Univariate and bivariate data analysis used the Chi Square Test. The results showed that there was no relationship between picky eating behavior and nutritional status (p value = 1,000, POR = 0.758) as well as maternal knowledge (p value = 0.007, OR = 6.750), parenting style (p value = 0.039, OR = 4.286), breastfeeding. exclusive (p value = 0.037, OR = 4.407) is a risk factor for picky eater behavior. The conclusion of this research shows that picky eater behavior is not related to nutritional status and knowledge of mother, parenting style, exclusive breastfeeding is related to picky eater behavior. It is suggested to Trisula Kindergarten to collaborate with the closest health center, especially the health promotion section, to conduct counseling activities about picky eater behavior. Keywords: Toddler, Education, Knowledge, Integrated Service Post, Attitude

Abstract

The problem often encountered concerning failed exclusive breastfeeding is the insight of the mothers into little or less milk production, causing fear of being incapable to satisfy the baby’s needs. The quasi-experimental research design was used in this study. There was a control group and two intervention groups. The intervention group was given moringa leaf extract and banana flower extract for 14 days. Mother’s milk was examined with atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS) at Labkesda (regional health laboratory) Jambi Province, Indonesia. Data were analyzed using 1-way- ANOVA. The zinc levels variable in breast milk obtained a p-value of 0.160, indicating that the zinc level in mother’s milk between the control group, moringa leaf extract, and banana flower extract did not show any meaningful difference. The iron levels variable in breast milk obtained a p-value of 0.497, indicating that the Fe levels of mother’s milk in the control group, moringa leaf extract, and banana flower extract did not show considerable distinctions. As a result, zinc and iron levels in the mother’s milk showed no prominent differentiation in the control, moringa leaf extract, as well as banana flower extract groups.
