Abstract

English is a subject that requires acquisition due to its continued relevance in the contemporary global context. Consequently, this research examines the primary motivational factors driving adult learners to engage in foreign language studies and the strategies they employ to enhance their language proficiency through the use of case studies. Utilizing a mixed-method research design, the investigation incorporated questionnaires and interpreting data with a total of 30 adult EFL learners. The findings derived from the questionnaire revealed statistically significant results. Findings indicate a notable emphasis on motivational factors such as the necessity for global communication and professional growth as the primary motivators, while effective learning tactics encompass the utilization of digital resources, organized speaking exercises, and participation in hands-on activities. This study offers valuable insights on enhancing motivation and efficacy in acquiring English as a Foreign Language for adult learners, particularly within the Indonesian educational context.

Abstract

Plastic type material is a material that is often used by many people in everyday life, the use of plastic materials, especially working in the world of health, industry or household, many people make plastic materials such as glass, plates, and more used as the necessities of everyday life. The sheer amount of plastic use has the potential to increase Polluttion and it is also very bad for the environment, mostly plastic materials are dumped without further processing, to reduce the impact of plastic materials needed for chopping tools to reduce the accumulation process. Using an AC motor as a drive system for chopping the plastic can make the plastic into a smaller part.

Abstract

Penerapan pendekatan berbasis proyek dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dihadapkan pada berbagai tantangan dan dampak yang signifikan bagi guru. Pendekatan ini mendorong siswa untuk terlibat aktif dalam proyek yang relevan dengan materi PAI, sehingga mengembangkan keterampilan kritis, kreatif, dan kolaboratif. Namun, implementasinya tidak tanpa hambatan. Guru sering kali menghadapi kesulitan dalam merancang proyek yang sesuai dengan kurikulum dan keterbatasan waktu. Selain itu, diperlukan penyesuaian dalam metode evaluasi dan peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan. Dampak positif dari pendekatan ini termasuk meningkatnya motivasi belajar siswa, pemahaman yang lebih mendalam terhadap materi, dan pengembangan kemampuan problem-solving. Di sisi lain, tantangan yang dihadapi mencakup kebutuhan sumber daya yang memadai dan dukungan dari pihak sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tantangan dan dampak penerapan pendekatan berbasis proyek dalam pembelajaran PAI, serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitasnya.
