Abstract

Learning in Nurul Iman Parung Islamic College, especially Kalam Science course, faces new challenges and problems. Students used to evaluated by answering questions related to the opinions of the problems contained in articles sent by Whatsapp application. However, the task directory that is collected is not controlled due to the large number of messages being piled up or files being deleted. As a result, the evaluation process is not optimal. In addition, university students are also required to have good critical thinking. It is necessary to have an evaluation tool that can measure students' critical thinking. This research aims to describe how the implementation of Google Classroom for evaluation and describe how students' critical thinking students. This is descriptive qualitative research with case studies. Data were collected by observation and documentation. The subjects of this study were students in class B of Kalam Science in Akhwal Syakhsiyah, totaling 159 people who were selected by purposive sampling. The results of this study are learning evaluations using Google Classroom to measure students' critical thinking skills are carried out in three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. It was concluded that the students in solving the given problems had begun to develop critical thinking skills, as evidenced that the average final score was 82.68.

Abstract

In terms of trading, a place of business needs to be known by many people in order to become buyers, because buyers have an important role that affects increasing sales and business growth. Unfortunately, there are still local people and tourists who do not know the location of the business and the uniqueness of the products they sell. To ensure that Dapoer Bunda Rayya becomes known to both local people and tourists, it is necessary to promote the business. Based on the statement above, the researchers introduced and promoted Dapoer Bunda Rayya as the seller and maker of Palembang traditional cakes through advertising videos. The study aims to know video copywriting process of Dapoer Bunda Rayya in two languages, English and Bahasa Indonesia, for promoting Palembang traditional dessert. This research was conducted using the Research & Development approach with the preliminary study, model draft, and final product testing and dissemination stages. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The researchers wrote the copy by using PAS formula, the AIDA formula, and the steps of writing a copy by Rieck. After the final copywriting was approved it was posted on social media. The video copywriting was an effective media to introduce the new innovation cakes and also another typically Palembang cakes for local and international tourists.

Abstract

Industri hospitaliti di Indonesia sangat menentukan kemajuan paraiwisata. Pelaku pariwisata harus memberikan pelayanan maksimal sehingga wisatawan yang berkunjung merasa senang karena disambut dan dilayani dengan baik. Pariwisata Indonesia merupakan salah satu tujuan favorit wisatawan mancanegara. Oleh sebab itu, pelaku industri pariwisata perlu memerhatikan aspek hospitaliti. Salah satunya adalah dengan pelayanan yang menggunakan bahasa ibu wisatawan mancanegara tersebut. Wisatawan yang paling royal adalah yang berasal dari negara-negara Arab. Dengan demikian, perlu adanya usaha untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Asing, salah satunya adalah bahasa Arab. Artikel ini adalah studi literatur yang menganalisis berbagai tulisan dan hasil penelitian sebelumnya. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dari sumber tertulis. Tujuan untuk mengkorelasikan antara peningkatan mutu pariwisata dengan hospitaliti berbasis komunikasi berbahasa Arab. Hasil analisis dari studi ini adalah wisatawan asing yang berbahasa Arab merasakan adanya sikap ramah dan kedekatan emosional dikarenakan pelaku industri pariwisata yang melayaninya dapat berkomunikasi dengan bahasa ibu mereka. Oleh sebab itu, sangat perlu bagi pelaku industri pariwisata untuk meningkatkan mutu hospitalitinya dengan melatih kemampuan berkomunikasi dengan bahasa asing, khususnya bahasa Arab. Dengan demikian, wisatawan mancanegara dapat melakukan kunjungan kembali karena kepuasan hospitaliti yang diberikan.

Abstract

Arabic Learning faces problems in the post-pandemic period. Students experience demotivation in learning so that learning outcomes decrease. For this reason, innovation with the hypnoteaching method is needed to provide positive suggestions and motivations so as to arouse enthusiasm for learning Arabic. The purpose of this study is to describe how educators apply hypnoteaching in Arabic learning. The method used is descriptive analysis or literature review that produces descriptive data from various research results about the experience of educators in implementing hypnoteaching in Arabic learning. Hypnoteaching is carried out with six steps, namely self-motivation, pacing, leading, using positive words, giving praise, and modelling. Basically, hypnoteaching makes the learning environment comfortable and conducive for students so that learning outcomes are optimal.

Abstract

The research purpose is to develop Arabic reading books based on character values to improve the reading ability to find feasibility and effectiveness. This research is based on the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The population is taken from the students in MTs.N 2 Tegal, it is class VIII-A (control group) class VIII-B (experimental group) by comparing pre-test and post-test scores. The data was collected by observation, interview, questionaires, document. The data analysis was done by using T. Test. The results showed it contained the inspirational short stories in each chapter. The theme was chararcter education values (religious, humanity, nationality), vocabulary tables. The design was 88%, the content was 87%, the character development rate was 90%. It is effective and has a significant effect on the development of student competencies, this is evidenced by an increase in student competence reaching 50% after field practice in the experimental group.
