Abstract

This training has done in Lengkese district of Takalar regency Sulawesi-selatan. This training goals to educate the society in using technology be a tools of trading activity and trading incomes. The training also aims to introduce the society, citizen in the village of Lengkese district about how to function the technology in maintain their need of live. This training has done around a day by some lecturers from Adpertisi institute of Makassar. And the result achievement was good responses and practice actively by the participant in applying the materials and practicing the mobile phone directly for trading communication. The result showed as positive responses from the participant because they give feedback to the presenter with some questions dealt with how to use and operate the fixture and application on digital media in well.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini dilakukan di desa Temmapaduae kabupaten Maros Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan Indonesia oleh beberapa dosen dari aliansi Dosen swasta Adpertisi. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk menarik minat dan menyemangati mereka dalam belajar berbahasa Inggris terkait pariwisata sehingga mereka dapat menjadi pemandu wisata yang baik dalam berkomunikasi. Metode yang digunakan pada pelatihan ini adalah pendekatan individu dan pendekatan kerjasama kelompok. Hasil yang telah dicapai dari pelatihan ini adalah adanya peningaktan kosakata yang akan mereka gunakan dalam berkomunikasi dengan pengunjung asing, peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam berdialog dan berkomunikasi dengan menggunakan bahasa Inggris pariwisata dengan baik. Hasil tersebut dibuktikan dengan keaktifan peserta bertanya dan aktif memperagakan percakapan dan dialog dalam konteks pariwisata.  Mereka juga terlihat antusias dalam mengikuti proses belajar. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak yang sangat positif bagi warga setempat dan pihak desa. Terutama kepada remaja, pemuda dan pemudi yang berkecimpung langsug dalam destinasi wisata yang ada di kabupaten Maros.         This training had done in Temmapaduae village District of  Maros regency Sulawesi-Selatan Indonesia by some lecturers from Adpertisi association Indonesia. This training attempt to gain and to encourage the society in learning and speaking English oriented with English tourism and also to improve their communication between youth, society, citizen in the village of Temmapaduae to visitor, to give good services for guiding tourists and visitor include foreigner or people around the place who are visiting many tourism place in Maros. The methodology applied in this training was persuasive and cooperative approach.  The result of achievement was learning and practice English improvement which is oriented with tourism communication,   participant improvement on English conversation and Vocabulary, motivation and self-confident improvement from participant  The other result as positive responses seemed by the participant feedback  in doing the learning activity, practice orally between them by expressing conversation in tourism context, then questioning  came from the participant how to pronounce the sound of vocabulary,  it also proved by vocabulary improvement by participant of training.  The beneficial from this acticity was make youth and society considering about the important of English in communication, improve their skill and experience in services and handling tourizm in Maros.

Abstract

Artikel ini disusun dengan tujuan untuk memahami permasalahan yang timbul terkait aturan kewajiban penggunaan jilbab di sekolah negeri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dan metode penelitian kualitatif. Fokus penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi serta menganalisis tantangan yang dihadapi oleh peserta didik yang menggunakan jilbab di lingkungan sekolah negeri. Beberapa sekolah negeri yang menerapkan aturan wajib berjilbab termasuk SD Negeri Cikini 2 Jakarta Pusat dan SMP Negeri 75 Jakarta Barat. Meskipun kewajiban menggunakan jilbab dapat memiliki dampak positif dalam membentuk kebiasaan peserta didik, namun juga dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif jika diimplementasikan sebagai suatu bentuk pemaksaan. Aturan ini mendapat kontroversi karena dianggap tidak sejalan dengan nilai-nilai toleransi dan hak asasi manusia. Pemerintah merespons dengan menerbitkan SKB 3 Menteri yang menegaskan larangan paksaan penggunaan atribut keagamaan di sekolah negeri, namun aturan tersebut akhirnya dibatalkan karena dianggap melanggar aturan yang lebih tinggi. Aturan ini perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus karena berkaitan dengan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan dan agama. Sekolah juga perlu untuk meninjau dan, jika perlu, merevisi kebijakan seragam dan atribut agar lebih inklusif serta dapat mengakomodasi keberagaman agama

Abstract

The objective of this research is find out whether Berlitz Method improve students’ vocabulary in English Learning Vocabulary or not. The researcher applied Classroom Action Research (CAR). The sample of the research was the Seventh Grade of SMP Pesantren Guppi Samata Gowa  and take class VII A with a research sample of 20 students.The results showed that the students of class VII A at SMP Pesantren Guppi Samata experienced an increase from cycle I to cycle II. Improved vocabulary comprehension through the Berlitz Method This indicates a significant increase in students' reading comprehension from the diagnostic test to cycle I and cycle II, where the average score on the diagnostic test was 42.75. cycle I get the average value to 68.25. There was also a significant increase from cycle I to cycle II where the average student in cycle II was 84.25. From these findings, the researcher concludes that the use of the Berlitz method can improve students' vocabulary skills and make students active in the learning process

Abstract

The objective of the research is to know whether or not there is a significant difference for the ninth grade students at SMP Unismuh makassar before and after taught by picture books in teaching literacy. The researcher used a pre-experimental method with one group pre-test and post-test, and data collection based the tests. The sample of this research was IX A class which consist thirty three students. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling technique. Based on the finding of the reserach, the researcher was found there was significant difference in teaching literacy focused on reading comprehension to the ninth grade srudents at SMP Unismuh Masassar. It was proved by the mean score of the post-test 83.2% was higher than the mean score of pre-test 61.3%. it could be proven by the value of the t-test ( 18.456) was higher than the t-table value (1.694)

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of failure to grow in children resulting from malnutrition so that they are too short or do not grow according to their age. This is what causes stunting to become a problem that needs a solution. The aim of this PKM activity is to increase the knowledge of mothers who have stunted children and the knowledge of posyandu cadres and health cadres regarding the use of the INZTING application (Efforts to Reduce Stunting) to carry out comprehensive recording, monitoring and documentation in efforts to prevent stunting. The method for implementing this service is application-based education. The targets for this service are mothers who have 23 stunted children and 28 cadres. The evaluation instruments are pre test, post test and activeness during the activity. The analysis technique to determine the success of the activity is by looking at the comparison of the pretest and posttest results that have been given. The results of the service showed that there was an increase in mothers' knowledge about stunting, namely from 52% to 90% and of posyandu cadres regarding the use of the INZTING application, namely from 40% to 95%. Some of the material that partners have understood includes guidelines for balanced nutrition, the characteristics of stunting, and the causes of stunting in relation to nutrition, as well as the long-term impacts of stunting cases. This means that the implications of this PKM activity have been able to increase mothers' knowledge about stunting and cadres' knowledge about using the INZTING application.
