<![CDATA[Abstrak: Masalah pada penelitian ini adalah usaha untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar murid dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi pada pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 8 Segedong. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dan sifat penelitian bersifat kolaboratif, subjek penelitian yaitu guru dan murid kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 8 Segedong yang berjumlah 12  orang. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi langsung, teknik dokumenter, dan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan observasi melalui metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar murid. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang menyatakan penerapan metode demonstrasi  pada pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 8 Segedong dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar murid, diterima. Kata kunci : Aktivitas Pembelajaran, IPA, Metode Demonstrasi Abstract: The problem in this research is an attempt to improve the learners' learning activities by using demonstration methods in science subjects at the fourth grade students in the Elementary School 8 Segedong. This research method is descriptive, in classroom action research, and the nature of this research is qualitative research, the research subjects are teacher and learners elementary school fourth grade students in the Elementary School 8 Segedong which consisted of 12 people in whole. The techniques used in this research were the technique of direct observation, documentary technique, and data collection tool were used as observation guidelines. The result based on observation by using demonstration methods had improved learners learning activities. This shows that the hypothesis that stated the application of demonstration methods in science  lessons at the fourth grade in the  Elementary School 8 Segedong can improve learners' learning activities, accepted.
